I have been retuning may cans here for years but the new employee makes me regret coming here every time. She has never been nice not a single time and she seems to have an issue with actually doing her job. She just has a bad attitude all the time.

Everybody is extremely nice and make sure you have what you came for. They have a lot of great sales on food every week. You can get 5 for $25.00 on meats. They always have slice deli meats up already cut and packaged. I go here once a week and shop and always spend at least $60-$100. Each time. I love shopping here. They have weekly flyers in the store to tell you what's on sale. They also bag your stuff and if you have a lot they take it out to your car and load it for you in your car. Overall the best place around to shop. 💯

I NEVER have understood the prices here!! I figured out , still with high price of gas it would cost less to drive to Geneva, Waterloo or even ITHACA to get BETTER PRICES AND BETTER QUALITY!! It is a shame many people have no choice but to shop here and it’s sad! Lower prices will make for more shoppers! I cringe when asked to go get stuff for people here! If I’m heading to town most time I tell them “they are out”! Grab day necessities and grab rest out of town! OH THE OOOO SOOO NOT FRIENDLY CASHIER made the trip to this store sooooo much WORSE! Now most are nice but SHE WAS NOT!! No name tag so no clue who she was other than RUDE!!! I should point out I don’t grocery shop at “WALMART” Wegmans,GreenStar, TOPS,Price chopper

This store is really convenient and has everything you need. But with the massive mark ups a $4.50 box of Cereal is $7.50 can only stop for odds and ends

Nice place for a little town Grocery Store. I moved from a big city. But this place is nice. The have every thing you need. Even a small Deli in the back. That also has ready to go Wings. Fries, etc.

Just passing through town and wanted a snack. Walked around the store, i loved it. The atmosphere, the store was clean! Shelves were stocked, find some good stuff! Bought one of those freezer bags, the cashier and another worker luckily helped me figure out how to open it! The staff was friendly, i had an amazing experience!

I have been Shopping at this store and have a VERY GOOD RELATIONSHIP with All of the Employees (& They will Share with you as much!). However... I have Experienced more than Once with Employee NANCY. I have Reported and Dealt with it. No More. I am taking my Business Elsewhere and I WILL MISS Those that We Share a Good Repore. As it’s been many many years since our last visit to the Big M, (due to not being in the area) we returned to Sampson state park and needed a few groceries so we ran up to the Big M in Ovid. What a great little store! So much variety packed into a small store, friendly staff, and just an inviting atmosphere. Pricing is very fair for a small town store and I’d much rather give my money to a nice local family operation than a big conglomerate!The owner/ mgr actually even carried out our groceries 🤷‍♂️. Great job Big M staff it was nice to return to your awesome establishment.Keep up the great work!

Very small and limited selection in the grocery aspect. Kinda pricey but due to the small overhead economics it makes enough sense. Their beer selection is surprisingly pretty good. Not just your cheap beer you get from a gas station. They aren't at the top of my list for grocery stores I'd shop at, but when you're in a pinch they suffice. I also want to make note that the workers in the deli make a fantastic sub. And the can/bottle return deposit center is pretty good for the most part too.

Small town grocery store. Great deals on meat. $25 for 5 mix and match. There is a deli in the back. Freezer section isn't huge. I'd describe it as adequate. They have a small produce section. The staples, nothing exotic.They also do hot and ready chicken. Back with the deli is a hot food section. They also do subs. I com here regularly for lunch.Typically find what I'm lookin' for or an acceptable alternative. Staff is friendly.

This is a quaint little small town grocery store located right off the main street. It reminds me a lot of I.G.A if anyone remembers those. Had a good selection of items as well as a deli that made Subs and sandwiches. They also had rotisserie chicken. I had gotten a chicken salad sandwich on a croissant from the deli and it was delicious and extremely filling as well as extremely fresh.

It's very hometown kind of quaint little market. They have everything you might find in a small market, friendly staff and most everything you might need. The layout/ floor plan is a little strange but it's an older building. Watch your step on the way out the side walk gets steep between the store and sidewalk.

Nice store, wonderful people. Sue and her staff catered our daughter's wedding and they were phenomenal. They made everything so easy, and when we ran out of coffee halfway through the ceremony. They did not hesitate to bring us more. Can't say enough good about these people and what they do.

We shop at the Big M and love how well stocked they are. We run a B&B in Lodi, and we can always count on them for fresh fruit, veggies and more. We also love their pre-made section. Many dinners for friends and family have been sourced from there.

Whatever you're out of you'll find it here. Nice deli with fresh baked bread. Good selection in the huge beer cooler. Great prices. Firewood is cheaper than fastrack if your unable to find it anywhere else. The bait shop in the back parking lot was closed and a no bait sign on the door.

good people but they like to go back on what they say when they hire you they lead you on and then you find out after being told your hired and the paper work isnt done they hire someone else and dont bother to tell you

Small locally owned grocery store. Carries a full range of products you would expect in a grocery store but often not varied as far as selection within a category. Staff is friendly. The butcher department is quite knowledgable and the meat selection is very good, having decent sales on meat regularly
