Literally, the worst pharmacy you could ever have to deal with. Call for a refill a day in advance, and you'll likely still have to wait over an hour for them to fill it. They can be out of a drug and still tell you they're working on filling it, and you'll wait a half hour before they tell you they don't have it. Literally go anywhere else you can even if it's more expensive. The extra cost is worth not having to deal with this company

Currently have been on “hold” for almost an hour now and all I want to know is when my prescriptions will be ready. Not to mention every single time I am there the pharmacy employees are so RUDE that I’d rather wait over 40+ minutes in the drive thru with my husband with me so when they try to talk to him that way he dishes it back. If you hate your job just stay home and be miserable there. And I don’t want to hear “oh they’re busy” because they’re not!!! They’re always standing around chatting with each other and I’ve seen it enough times while waiting for service in there to know this. Mine as well just shut this place down since nobody is any help here and is just incredibly rude! I’d give a ZERO stars if I could. BE BETTER. ITS 2023.

It's really sad how your employees treat customers with defective returns 3 days after purchase I had a product fail I didn't have the packaging with me but had the receipt in hand and every excuse in the book was being used to not refund the money. Which they did after some argument Needless to say I will never shop at a Kinney drugs again!

TERRIBLE staff and absolutely never will bring my prescriptions here again. Told me they have to order the refill, takes a week, then call to get them. Nope, wasn't ordered. Wait a week, nope, wasn't ordered. Close down this useless store and keep it a parking lot, way more people would be happy!!!

If I could give this pharmacy a zero I would. So unprofessional, I’ve gotten an attitude each time I have pulled up to that window. As well as each time I pull up to the window I hear “sorry your prescription order is not in yet”. After waiting in the line for 40+ minutes. As if I can just take my pills whenever I please. When I put an order in and I’m told it will be ready by this date I expect it to be. So, I ask okay what am I supposed to do with out my medication? “not our problem” well I’m sorry but it most definitely is. I Switched my pharmacy immediately!

From Indiana, I had to have emergency surgery here in Syracuse, and they called my script in to this place. Terrible front desk service. 6/7/2023, 8:22am. Girl on phone who answered was rude af. I mean rude. Wouldn't even let me finish my question before she straight cut me off and informed me pharmacy didn't open til 9, then hung straight up on me. Girl, you ain't cut out for this gig. Go, not be a people person, somewhere else in the back where no one deals with you, waaay less...preferably not at all. I'd give a zero if I could.

We have been with Kinney drugs for years. While as of late things are crazy there, it is crazy everywhere. Shortages of people willing to work make it hard on the people working. We all need to be patient with the people trying to help you. Anyone I have ever dealt with there have been very kind and helpful. Stephanie, you are great and I hope your bosses see that. Why is the pharmacist on the front line, I do have to ask. I see that customers don't leave them alone. I understand there are questions they need to answer, but wheres the shampoo isn't one of them. So thanx and hang in there. Its gotta get better!! RIGHT?

Every time that I walk into Kinney Drugs, I am greeted by an enthusiastic, hardworking and committed staff. The front end associates always provide the upmost help in any circumstance. The boys up front in particular, really go above and beyond in caring and assisting my elderly mother with her shopping. There are two in particular who always offer to lend a helping hand and bring her groceries to her car for her. The blonde gentleman named Chris is extremely helpful. I wouldn’t go anywhere else to shop.

I have been using this pharmacy for many years. Recently things haven't been going so well. They have always been on top my scripts in a timely manner. I'm not sure if it's all the Covid issues but I've noticed all new employees that do not seem to know what is happening. I'm experiencing issues like not going through my insurance or not using my insurance at all. Or not having my scripts at all. I know there are supply chain issues as well. I'm giving them one more month to see if anything changes and things get better. If not I'll have to go else where. Not really wanting to do that but my health is important as well as getting my meds in a timely manner and correctly using my insurance.

This is the worst pharmacy I've been to. When you go to fill a prescription they usually say they haven't had time to fill it to come back. So I try to call ahead of time so they will have it ready and am always on hold. Get it together!!!! People are sick and need medicine.

I used to work at this location a few years back. Ever since it has gone under new management it’s gone south. I have medications that I can not stop for any reason. One of my major medications I have now had to fight with them 4 MONTHS IN A ROW. The worst one was they told me that I was picking it up too early, even though it was two days past. My insurance company called the pharmacy & the lady at the pharmacy said, “Well you’re the insurance company so you should be the ones figuring it out.” Then hung up. The insurance company lady said she had never been talked to that way by a pharmacy. Today I tried to refill two medications over the phone since I did not have the bottles on me. I was told once again that I could not pick up that medication. I explained why it might pop up ask that. He rudely said “Well then tell me the number.” I was trying to find the bottle as fast as I could & then not even 30 seconds I heard “I have a whole line of people here. So now you’re going to have to hold.” I drove all the way down there for them to close early. I’ve worked in the medical field & I've talked to a lot of pharmacy’s. This place is by far the rudest people you will meet. You can tell they hate their jobs. DO NOT GO HERE WHATEVER YOU DO. YOU WILL NOT GET THE PROPER TREATMENT!!!!

My daughter went to pick up money from the Western Union with no ID. I set it up so she doesn’t have to show ID. She just turned 18, at her college dorm and she doesn’t have NY state ID yet. The store manager refused her and I had to call and complain. The manager did get in touch with western union and my child was finally able to get the money. But why did this happen? This is a college town - with students from all over the country attending during this COVID mess. All business owners should make it a priority to go above and beyond to help their customers, especially students. I’m not taking about bending the rules. I’m talking about KNOWING the rules. I’m giving the store two stars only because the OTHER people in the store was nice to my daughter. The store manager actually made her feel uncomfortable. She won’t be back, don’t worry!!

Absolutely the worst Kinney's Drugs!! I live close by, so as anyone would do I went there for odds, and ends, and on several occasions anytime I purchased products "on sale" the cashier refused to fix the issue, and when asking for a refund I'd receive attitude. I had also made the mistake of switching meds to their pharmacy, and that was the worst mistake! After today, and the fifth time dealing with complete nonsense ; such as waiting on the phone two hours. Not being able to get prescription filled due to the fact my doctor couldn't reach the pharmacy to fix a small issue. Last time they couldn't fill my child's meds for several days due to them not having a common drug in stock (ended up going to futon). There's other issues, but these are the main common ones. I wouldn't recommend this location for anything.

I'm tired of the waiting on hold. When is corporate going to spend money on a new system that frees up store personal and telephone service personal to be able to assist customers in a timely manner. Not everyone has time to sit on hold and wait to find out if a medication has been called in or has been filled. 20 mins plus on hold to speak with pharmacy..

I wish I could put 0 stars. The general store is nice 5 stars, the pharmacy every worker is rude. Just because you are understaffed you do not have to be rude, especially to a customer who is already understanding that you are understaffed. It's not the customers fault you are understaffed.

Terrible service from the general store. The pharmacy staff was kind and helpful but the cashier, Greggory, always has a terrible attitude and has a tendency to snatch things from your hands. He's rude and will also let you know when he's having a bad day and why which isn't something you should say to random customers. In addition, the snarky woman who tends the counter will also judge your ability to pay for the items you buy if she doesn't think you are wealthy. They are highly unprofessional.

I just want to say, Oswego Kinneys pharmacy worked so hard and I noticed. Ty for all your hard work. I hope you all enjoyed the candy. Multiple attempts to receive prescriptions are always late. Signed me up unknowingly to an auto-refill service that prevents me from calling ahead to receive prescriptions, which has made it harder to receive prescriptions at the expected “always late” time. Show up days after expected refill time (said on phone), and refill always takes 3 hours after I show up in person, sometimes days.

A certain short dark skinned employee female is extremely rude and snotty to the customers acting as if she shouldnt be even some what helpful or kind to the customers. Ive heard 4 different people complain about her now.

Great customer service, i called to find a specific styptic product and they helped me right away, I was able to find what I needed at the best price possible. The cashier was very kind and helpful as well. I will definitely be coming back again! 10/10

Deffinately needs more help in the pharmacy 2 o3 including pharmacist cannot fill scripts,cashout people and wait on driveup window answer phone ,2 or 3 just isnt enough they need at least 1 more .The wait is way to long for any of the above.
