I had the unfortunate experience of being referred here, as it was one of 2 local pharmacies that offer extended hours and could fill a prescription post hospital visit. The pharmacist was extremely rude, condescending and completely annoyed that she had to troubleshoot issues with the prescribing hospital and the actual medication. The sense of urgency was nonexistent; however, the aggravation of having to fix an issue that was clearly in her job description was visibly noted from subtle eye rolls and slamming the pharmacy doors. This was a case of my son taking antibiotics to avoid surgery, and their lack of urgency/lack of human compassion, is concerning at a minimum. Would strongly recommend avoiding this Rite Aid pharmacy.

I would leave 0 stars if I could. I have an issue every single time I go in there. I’ve gone in to pick up steroids for my child and they don’t have them in stock, no phone call to make me aware and no help finding where I can obtain them. I’ve gone in for antibiotics more than 12 hours after they were sent and they don’t have the script ready or say it didn’t come through. I. Hood continue in with stories. I’ve switched all regular scripts out of there and to express scripts.

This used to be the best RITE AID EVER.. I understand there is a shortage of help and the people working their are all wonderful, but called in a script at 8 :17am and after 5:00 pm still not ready. They are all wonderful but they need more help! Another concern is no one answers the phone. I like everyone there but CORPORATE NEEDS TO HELP. Store at 4060 North Buffalo STREET . Avoid this place if you can. I called in a prescription 5 days ago, said they would call my doctor and never did. This isn’t the first time this has happened. I’ve been trying to get ahold of them every day and no one ever answers. Once you do find out whether your prescription is ready, it’s usually a half hour wait or more to get it.Update 3 months later: yet again a horrible experience. Tried to pick up a prescription I placed 3 days ago and it once again isn’t ready. The amount of times I and my family have had to go days without medication because of this pharmacy is beyond ridiculous. This will be my last time dealing with Rite Aid.

This is the worst pharmacy I have ever encountered. The incompetency is staggering. I will never recommend this pharmacy nor would I ever go back. If I could rate this place a zero I would. God awful.

This is the best Rite Aid around!! The pharmacy staff are always so friendly and helpful! The service is usually pretty quick also!

This pharmacy is absolutely ridiculous!!!! They NEVER answer the phone. I waited for an HOUR for them to call ONE other pharmacy for a prescription. The original man who helped me just disappeared. The girl with the blue short hair was so sweet. Then an older gentleman was in line and one of the female pharmacist was REALLY rude to him. I do not recommend this place.

They need to shutter this place or sell it to another pharmacy. Its never been the best but as of the last 1 or 2 years its become to the point where its not even a pharmacy. They SAY lunch is 130-2 but its not, they shutter the pharmacy usually about an hour before then and dont open up again until closer to 3. And then its a battle to get them to even answer the phone, and then you have to be lucky enough that they choose to not close the drive thru pickup that day, but its always closed so dont even bother.I guess i should have taken it as a sign the fact that every single time i go into this location they cant even keep the lights on, litteraly.

If I could give a zero I would. Avoid this place at all cost. They do not care at all. If you need a prescription go elsewhere. The simplest thing is difficult here. They need a change in management for the pharmacy. Someone who holds people accountable.

This is the 3 time I have went tk this location and it was closed 15-20 mins early every time. I know the hours are 7am - 11pm but the customer should not have to deal with getting out of work and rushing to the store becuz of the new hours and then not being able to get my prescription. I get the hours change but there seems to be a new staff and they want to make there own hours and leave early and I know this becuz everytime I come tk the store and I’m here 15-20 mins till close I walk up to the doors and there locked. Why would they be locked the store is not closed till 11. This is ridiculous and I hope the staff is reprimanded and the higher up management can get this store under control and the staff acting the appropriate way that is best for rite aids profit and for rite aids customers. If this is by any means ok with rite aid then it should be posted on google we close at 10:40 and our employees will be sitting in there car at 10:30 becuz they can and who cares about ppl needed there perception. There a Walgreens down the road go there. Now î seriously doubt the general manager is skipping his rounds to his or her stores and if she saw this I bet it would be the last.I hope this really get handled as I need my prescription and it’s a medication that is to be taken everyday and night but today I will have to skip tonight dose. I guess I’ll go home now that I have waited 20 mins as the store didn’t answer and î decided to put a review in and that took me 15 mins also. If this happens again I will stop coming to rite aid and go to Walgreens for my medication for now on.

If you can avoid this pharmacy I would! They are incredibly slow, always have a "that's not my job" attitude and seem like they have quite a bit of staff but NEVER help eachother. I would think the pharmacists seeing as how they make as much as they do would be more professional but they roll their eyes as much as the techs do. Pick a different rite aid if you're able to. This one is AWFUL!

This Rite Aid was incredibly helpful after a different location decided not to thaw any covid vaccine doses.We had made multiple appointments over the course of the day at a different location & after several failed attempts at getting my Son's second Pfizer shot we called this location and not only were they able to get us right in, they were friendly and inviting. They didn't make us feel like they were too busy and didn't even act put out by us coming in at 8PM.The location was clean, every employee greeted us when we arrived and told us to have a good night when we left.Definitely recommend because they were so sweet and helpful accommodating usThe first Rite Aid we went to on Seneca ST not only let us know they were too busy and put out by our appointments, but they were completely unhelpful and wasted multiple hours of our day having us schedule online so they'd have time to thaw a dose- then still not having a dose thawed when we came back hours later. They refused to schedule in person despite claiming our online appointments weren't showing on their schedule and just kept telling us to schedule online despite not honoring the 2 appointments we'd already made. The woman finally told me over the phone when I called (because my husband is nicer and was just going to keep making appointments apparently) that they had more important things to do.I suspect the employee at the Seneca St Rite Aid was anti vaccine- why else would she be so incredibly unhelpful to the point of actively hindering - then saying she was too busy and had better things to do?REGARDLESS I'm glad that she was so awful, because I didn't even know THIS location existed. It's not far off my route home and it's way better than the one near my house :)

Called Rite Aid Pharmacy at 3050 Union Rd to see if my prescription was filled. Woman who answered the phone was less than pleasant. Stated they were waiting for authorization and to call the insurance and hung up. I called my insurance who stated authorization was provided 9/21 and good for a year and that the pharmacy never even tried to run the script. The rep from my insurance was able to run a successful test claim. The insurance rep tried contacting the pharmacy and spent over 40 minutes trying to get ahold of someone. I then tried for over 30 mins. I finally called the store and the gentleman stated the pharmacy is backed up due to covid, flu, and shingle shots and to give them another hour for them to call me back. This pharmacy seems to be extremely poorly managed seeing they are not running claims, filling scripts or even answering the phones. After almost 20 years filling here we will be switching to a different company.Update…the Pharmacist called back to see how he could help. I explained everything to him and the fact that my insurance never has a claim attempted. He finally stated the claim went through for yesterday’s date. I asked what the issue was the other day and he said again that it went through. Clearly my prescription was never even attempted when it was called in. The pharmacist knows this and was very careful to choose his words. This is a medication that is needed for degenerative joint disease that they held up for incompetence which has now thrown me into a flare. God help you if this happens to you and a more life threatening medication.

This location is painfully slow. Even when they're not busy, the pharmacy moves at a snail's pace to process prescriptions. Seems like they have a hard time prioritizing their workflow.EDIT 4/14/23It's still awful here. It's like a game of who can avoid making eye contact with customers the longest. The loser has to help customers.

recommend avoiding this pharmacy at all costs. Always an issue with my script every month due to the staff not knowing how to operate the pharmacy and having no problem solving skills at all or just not caring enough to provide any customer at all. Walgreens is right next door definitely a better option.

Overall good experiences with the pharmacy. Security guard walked passed three different customers not wearing a mask and didn’t say a word, or even give them a disposable mask. I’m vaccinated and don’t wear my mask in 98% of places, but a pharmacy is a different story where individuals may have greater health concerns. Security should do better...

Total experience is 4 stars because they try to do a good job, but some employees in pharmacy aren't quick enough at filling orders that are important for health concerns. They think they know exactly what the medication is for but at times are way off because meds have multiple uses for treatment. The pharmacist is very good at her job and hope everyone can learn how to be as professional and knowledgeable as her!

I’ve had good experiences thus far with this pharmacy except for today. Called to get my prescription refilled and they said they’d have it refilled on Wednesday and I told them because I was away at school I couldn’t get it until Friday and they said that was fine. Go today and they said id have to come back later cause it wasn’t ready yet. Called an hour ago to check and see if it was ready and they said I couldn’t get it until Monday bc they were out of stock🤷🏼‍♀️

The pharmacy has gone down hill. Yesterday I went in to pick up two different medications. This lady almost cashed me out for two of the same medication(different dosages) until I mentioned what they should be when cashing out. Then waited 10 minutes for them to “find” the missing medication. Today I tried to use my Medicaid card for the first time, so I said to the man that I’m unsure of how using it works. I was told I could just give it to my pharmacist when picking up scripts. The first thing out of this mans mouth when he took it was “what am I supposed to do with this?” And then acted as if it would be some huge process to rebill everything. Just so unhelpful. He’s either unbelievably awful at communicating or really tries hard to be as condescending as possible because he knew exactly what to do. There is a lot more I could say about the interactions I had with this man but this review would be so long so I will just email someone from customer service I guess. They have also screwed up my parents prescriptions several times in the last year or so. Definitely recommend going to different pharmacy if you have the option to.

The slowest drive through!!! If you have problems or questions for a pharmacist please go inside people! I wish the employees here would handle drive though issues better. It’s supposed to be fast & convenient. Fails miserably at both.

I had a good time at this rite aid until very recently. A very kind young man was let go from his job because of "what the public may think of him". In my opinion the rite aid corporation was very unprofessional in doing this. He was always a great help and always greeted me by name with a smile on his face.

Been our pharmacy for many years, also a good place to find seasonal merchandise, such as Valentine's day, Easter, Halloween, Christmas. Great for everyday products too, drinks, snacks, sandwiches, etc.

Had an appointment to get my 2nd shot and they left me to the side for over a half hour until I left. They pretty much ignored me cause I after 15 minutes they didn't know why I was waiting. Go somewhere else.
