Someone please help these fish!!!!!! I visited the store on April 14, 2024. What I found is genuine animal abuse. I came looking for new plants for my freshwater fish tank. I proceeded to grab a sword plant and it had actual mold on it. The leaves were MOLDY and the plant was DEAD… it gets worse… I put back the plant and move to look at the betta fish. Many of them had fin rot to the point of open sores on their scales and fins, or ich..the rest were dead. Many of the bodies of these poor fish were rotting, literally decomposing in the cups. I’m going to attach pictures. I told the employee at the front register (they seemed concerned) but after waiting a bit, it seemed as though nothing was done. These poor fish are extremely sick and in horrible conditions. How can a store or someone working at a store dedicated to pet health and wellness just leave these poor souls to literally rot in their cups… especially when the medicine they need is sold on the shelves directly next to them and water changes are done in the sink less than two feet away….absolutely unacceptable. Petsmart is abusing its animals.

Once upon a comical Christmas, my son and I, along with Winnie, our not-so-little Great Swiss Mountain Dog, embarked on a festive adventure to PetSmart. The mission? To capture the holiday spirit in a photo with Santa. Little did we know, we were about to step into a canine comedy show.Armed with a reservation made by my wife, we waltzed into PetSmart, only to find ourselves in a line that was less 'Jingle Bells' and more 'Who Let the Dogs Out?' Half of the pooches there were clearly playing hooky from the obedience class next door. It was a wild orchestra of barks, gags, and the unmistakable aroma of excited-dog-pee.Amidst this furry frenzy, one could spot the ‘elite’ dogs, sitting prim and proper, casting judgy glances at the unruly bunch. Their owners, trying to hide smirks, were probably crafting mental notes for the next ‘Worst Behaved Dogs’ awards.After what felt like a dog's age (about 45 human minutes), we finally made it to Santa’s chamber. And oh boy, what a sight! This Santa had just enjoyed a merry puff of his vape, leaving the room in a festive fog. The offer was simple: one photo, snapped with an ancient iPad.Winnie, our furry detective, was instantly on alert. Something was amiss in Santa's workshop. She refused to cozy up to this off-brand Santa, who had suspiciously hairy knees peeking out from his costume. Trusting Winnie's instincts, I had her sit at a safe distance.The resulting photo? A Christmas masterpiece featuring Winnie’s majestic pose, Santa's dubious knees, and a backdrop that screamed 'holiday chaos'. 🚨DO NOT COME HERE🚨I would give them no stars if that was possible!!They are the only store I could find one wear doggy shoes and I went in with my service dog at my side and I grabbed what I was there for and as I rolled passed the daycare this women was ignoring all the dogs and kept spraying water in their face to get them to stop jump on the glass and there was one dog that was hiding in the corner afraid, she smacked a dog on the nose TWICE for barking any behavior that annoyed this woman the dogs got sprayed in the face, she never said stop it was immediately spray, there was absolutely NO playing at all she just stood with an annoyed look on her face and she was going to do something then she looked over saw me recording and stoped minutes later another employee was in there and was interacting a little bit the dogs. Then when I got to the register the women was scanning the stuff I bought and she started talking to my service dog directly to my service dog and my mom asked nicely to please not distract him because he is an alert dog and keeps me out of the er after that was said she got an attitude and I trained Apollo to lay down whenever I stop and people always thinks it’s because he’s tried so she said “oh well he looks tired” she was very nasty to me after that was said! When I have Apollo halt (lay down) next to me he is on alert and looking around.They also have a PIT BULL AND BULLY BREED BAN!!!

I took my dog to the Orchard Park location for a bath and haircut. I had been putting this off because the last time I took him to a locally owned place, I felt so uncomfortable leaving him, I sat in the parking lot (cried) and waited there for over 2 hours until he was ready. After, he looked traumatized and I felt horrible. Well I decided to try Petsmart and did the express service so he was done quicker. The appointment was with Brittney D. From the moment I walked in, I immediately felt comfortable with her. She was so sweet to my dog, and reassured me he would be fine when I mentioned I felt bad leaving him. I left and didn’t cry, which surprised me, and didn’t feel the need to sit in the parking lot! When I picked him up, he was so happy and didn’t look upset or traumatized at all!!! I was so happy, and he looked and smelled incredible!! She did an amazing job on his hair cut. I am so so happy I decided to bring my dog here. We will definitely be repeat customers with Britt!!!

Came into this location to research a new dog food for my senior dog. As I was in the aisle, a gentleman by the name of Mike offered my assistance to get the 30 lb bag back on the shelf. (Since I was looking at ingredients.) He was extremely helpful and even carried my bag to my car. It's rare you get good customer service these days, and I want to commend Mike and this location for giving exceptional customer service.

The team in the Petshotel are absolutely wonderful. They have taken care of both of our dogs so well, know their quirks, and get us in and out of the check in area very fast and efficiently. We've been taking our dogs here for boarding since we moved to Buffalo 2 years ago and will continue using this location because of their amazing team.

It's so nice walking into PetSmart and being welcomed immediately by one of the staff. I find PetSmart has a large variety of everything you pretty could possibly need. The staff is always visible and ready to answer all questions. They go out of their way to see that you leave the store with what you need and are always well informed.

Do not take your pet there for grooming. I called the store asking if they could do my dogs nail trim, they said if I came right then I could. I show up and walk into the grooming area and immediately get the nastiest look from one of the groomers. Mind you there are two other groomers with her, all working on one dog. She said “what do you want?” Which made me realize right away the customer service is out the window. I told her I called ahead and was told to bring my dog in for a nail trim and she said they didn’t have time. Then she yanked on the dog on the table and started getting very aggressive with it and kept pulling it. I took that as a sign to not leave me dog ever with these people because I would be afraid it would die in their care. Based on other reviews I made the right choice.

I board my kitty at OP Petsmart Hotel and Collin, the Manager, and his Staff are all so amazing and caring. My kitty had a tough time adjusting to being away from home. Collin found a way to make things better and to put me at ease through the stress this caused. Petsmart is so fortunate to have Collin and his wonderful staff.

I had taken my dog here once before and had a great experience with grooming. I had an appointment set up for last week, I showed up and they told me they couldn’t take her due to a seizure she had 3 weeks prior and that I needed to reschedule. I was rescheduled for today, and brought her in. They then proceeded to say very loudly that they do not have time to take her, meanwhile a groomer is shouting at a small dog clearly in distress on the table saying she didn’t care if the dog “jumped off the table at this point”. I was already feeling severely uncomfortable with leaving her there, and that made me even more anxious. They told me she needed to have an express service away from all other dogs due to her seizure a month ago, which was fine. I then got a call 15-20 minutes later stating that my dog had “gotten loose” because the groomer all the way in the back walked to the front to answer the phone and somehow made it seem like it was my fault that my dog got out. The groomer then stated that she had pooped and was shaking, which is just normal anxiety and I let them know she had anxiety last time she had a service. They then told me they only got the nails done (which was about 1/3 of the service) and I needed to come get her immediately. I picked her up and will not be back. The severe disrespect and disregard for the animals is absolutely heartbreaking. Take your business somewhere else.

I don’t know why I was sleeping on PetSmart Pets Hotel. My two girls (dogs) came home happy, clean and fed. I got a pic of them while they were there and a phone call to LMK a they were eating and playing. Staff was top notch and it cost less than our usual spot with the same amenities. I’ll be booking another two stays for them this summer.

Went for pics with the bunny they had a vary good system in place someone outside haveing people line up and giveing coupon for the store cleaning stations at every other aisle in case your furry friend decides to go, becouse there was the extra traffic of people coming in for pics they had extra staff for check out. It was grate shopping even when there's no special event the cleaning stations are still there, so staff is frendly and the store is super organization, each service has little windows that you can see if it is right for your pet (except veterinarian service) that is a good thing. But like the groomers and training you can watch see how you like it ! To sum up everything I really enjoy Everytime I go there (event or not ) I would recommend to everyone 20 out of 10

Depending on the time of day you go here, you either get a cashier who takes care of you or the middle-aged, befuddled lady. I use manufacturer coupons to get a discount on my pet food, but she always has a difficult time with the coupons. Either she wants to reject them (despite using the coupon the previous month) or she cannot scan the coupons (despite all the other cashiers having no problem with them). During my last trip, she called over the manager (who was very rude as they both clearly struggled to read the coupon). So, if you are going to go to the store, avoid certain hours because, as one of the previous comments stated, you will be in line for over 15 minutes as the befuddled-lady struggles to focus and cash you out.The other workers there are always very helpful and kind.

I am typically pretty happy shopping at this PetSmart. My only gripes are routine fish stocking and petcare customer service, but I don't believe this is the only store with this particular issue. Distribution centers at most retail stores have been affected because of Covid. And petcare associate service is spotty but again, I think it's due to Covid staffing. I recently purchased 3 butterfly koi and 2 regular koi from this location. The colors are starting to come through after being stressed and they are all beautiful. Very happy with my purchase. Will buy more in the future.

Love it! I see the kitties first and talk to them if they are not asleep. Very clean and plenty of choices of cat food and dog food! Love their treat perks! Get points for buying what you need and redeem them like cash! Workers are super friendly and helpful. Returns are super easy, too! I own 3 cats. Adopted one from Pet Smart! They put you in a decent size room with the kitten ot cat to see how it reacts to you and you to it. They are not pushy about it. They let you use their play toys, too! We have had Ava for 11 years now! That's the name they gave her and we kept it.

This location has very friendly staff and lots of merchandise. But... I have been a fish owner for a while now and wanted to get more fish so I recently bought 6 fish from here and 5 of them are now dead. I'm not saying it's pet smarts fault or anything like that but if you buy fish make sure you find someone educated who will walk you through fish care. When I was there the girl had no idea what she was talking about and I told her I had a 10 gallon and asked her what fish I could get and she was picking fish that weren't fit for the tank size. Also they don't have a lot of real plants to select from and most of their betas have fin rot.
