Had the worst experience ever purchasing a range. It took waiting 30 minutes to find a sales person to sell it. Next huge delays in delivery and installation. I had to wait for a week with 2 stoves in my house until the installer (who was from Best Buy) to install. It's still not installed as the driver called yesterday because his partner was sick. Today he called and tried not to come because of weather. I then texted him a picture of a clear path he said he would be coming...still waiting. I'm done with Lowe's. I recommend Orville's in the Buffalo area for appliances. Going back to them from now on! Also missed two days of work over this. Lowe's you should not be in the appliance business.

Customer service desk jerked us around for 2 hours and then started calling their own customer service. After another 30 minutes of wasting our time they couldn’t even order 2 bikes from their own website. Most useless customer service employees ever.

Update based on owner response, want to earn back my business have real people at cash register not self check out, till then I will shop at home depot or Value hardware or any other place that has people doing check outs. As a military veteran, it's a shame what big companies are doing to lower their staff and reduce people incomes. I will never shop at a store that only uses self checkout it takes people jobs away.Gave 2 stars, no regular registers open, only self checkout. I do not and will never use self checkout. Left and drove 5 miles to Home Depot. I would rather drive a longer distance than use self checkout. They do not give me a discount to ring up and bag my own stuff. Never will shop Lowes again. Bye bye

On the bright side they we're the only place that had what I needed to do the plumbing in the basement. On the bad side again My military discount didn't work again!!!!!!!! Feeling annoyed.

I needed assistance to purchase drain hose. The first employee couldn't answer questions so they told me to wait one minute while they found someone that would help me. After 15 minutes I went to find someone else that could help but nobody else was in sight. They need more helpful employees.

Have not been to Lowe's in some time I frequent the other Big box store I was shocked at Lowe's quality selection and help from people staff is extremely knowledgeable I went for the lighting section and was shocked at the thousands of choices I highly recommend someone to visit Lowe's if you have any home remodeling needs or wants

My neighborhood home improvement store. It’s typically a good time there, no issues, and I can find what I want pretty easily by referencing the app. I have no problem with using self-checkout, so no complaints there. The only issue I’ve ever had there, and it was a big one, was an issue with some cabinets and a countertop I ordered several years ago, when I moved into my house. There was some sort of miscommunication between Lowe’s and the companies contracted to do the installations. The cabinet company said Lowe’s gave them inaccurate measurements. The countertop company, Stone Central, claimed the same thing. The kitchen took two months longer than expected to be completed, which wouldn’t have been a huge deal except my father was in the hospital and very anxious for updates on my kitchen renovation. It was supposed to have been completed months before, but it wasn’t and he died before it was done. I have no plans for using Lowe’s as a middleman again, but as a store, as a place to go for materials and whatever I need to do house and yardwork, it’s been great.

Do NOT utilize this LOWE'S for blind installation services. I ordered multiple BALI 2in Faux Wood Blinds (several thousand dollars worth) in early April 2023.....here we are December 5 2023 and I am still waiting on the final (2) wands to arrive so my "order" can be closed - wands that shockingly did not ship with what should have been the final shipment....I say shockingly because LOWE'S and this process has gotten me to the point that each shipment received/installation attempt I fully expect an issue to arise - whether it be mis-measurements, product issues, missing parts, broken parts or unreturned phone calls throughout this process it should be a total embarrassment to any company, let alone LOWE'S of OP. If LOWE'S knowingly signs-off on doing business with Window Treatments Unlimited as a subcontractor/representative, they are just as culpable for the terrible experience and installation service IMO. Do yourself a favor and use another company or local business (any company!)....that is unless you enjoy a dozen setbacks, delays and headache that span the course of nearly a year!

Employee not even working in the fence area stopped to help us find what we were looking for. All other employees were busy with other customers. They definitely upped their customer service. Got our fencing, very easy to install. Love how the fence added to our front garden.

Had to scour the store at 5pm on a Friday to find an employee, then when I tracked down a nice fella he told me it would take 45 mins to get a new pallet down since they would have to wait for a fork truck operator. Fine I’ll get the returned tile and pick through all the broken pieces (maybe you guys should just scrap those and eat the cost instead of making customers do that)Finally got to checkout and I can’t get my military discount because they don’t have any cashiers up only self checkout….god bless America.Coorporate America at its finest. Not impressed with this store, at least the workers they had were nice but this is more a shot at the company as a whole.

Our cashier, Judy H. Was excellent she was the fastest cashier we had in the past 25 years!! Bar none. Even with the veterans discount and she was very pleasant. Hope she stays at Orchard Park, NY store. Other things that weren't as good as she was that you were still selling air conditioners in September and I was looking for a tower heater. The guys in the deptment didn't know what I was talking about.

Lowe's is solid. Has what I need 99% of the time. Can usually find a knowledgeable worker if you need some technical help with a project. They have been understaffed for the longest time. Trying to reach a department by phone is a joke because 1 worker is helping 3 customers in 2 different departments.

**CAUTION***Do not under any circumstances use Lowes to install a fence. I was under the impression that going through a big store would help avoid the normal contractor horror stories. It took over a year to finish the install, nothing but excuses and sub contractors that seem to hate to do business with Lowes due to lack of communication and follow through. I’ve called the 800 number probably 60 times over the last year and if I hadn’t I truly believe the job still wouldn’t be completed.

I had an issue with a return today. Long story short I was given the wrong information about a ceiling fan I ordered online. But I have to say, even though the return policy was told to us incorrectly at time of being directed to order online, the manager at this location was an absolute joy. She explained to us why she couldn't return the item, also the customer service representative was excellent also. We are remodeling our kitchen and basically should have just waited to order this item. I wish I had taken her name because she needs to be commended by her superiors. She knows her stuff and is so pleasant doing it. This store will excel under her direction.

i am on my second snowblower in 4 weeks. my father has to drive up from fredonia so we can load it up on his truck, as i do not own a truck. the first snowblower had belt issues, so we brought it back. The second snowblower was missing bolts that kept wires off of the muffler, so i drove back to lowes and picked up the bolts and put them on my self. one week later, the snow shoot has shot off just missing me(assuming the person put it together with zero care, and you guessed it, bolts came off). I called and explained, they said i can rent a truck. I asked if they would waive the fee since i have been there 3 times now the last two because YOUR employees did a sub par job putting it together. of course they said, no, but its only 19$. needless to say, the junk will go back once i have my father drive up from Fredonia. Great job on customer retention. Lets hope home depot is a little better at this. make sure you fully inspect anything they put together.

Had the estimate done in March 23 for exterior door replacement. It is now May 11th no response from the estimator. Have called store a hundred times- spoke to both managers. They had no help to give me and didn’t the reason for problem. They said someone was going to call me- still waiting. UNREAL terrible customer service

Gotta give credit where it's is due, so many places seem to be losing the ability to do customer service, but just had return a ton of items and Aaron at the orchard park store Lowes was handling a ton of things at record pace, all at once. Very impressed! He had to go to plumbing dept, and I felt like he ran there and back to help me. THANKS!

Corey from the paint department helped me out tremendously. I needed a good paint for my laundry room. My wife kept slipping at times because the floor would get wet from the washer. He mixed up a valspar paint with anti skid in it and said my wife would like it.Turned out she loved it. No more slipping. He also gave me great tips and knowledge. Unbelievable

2 months ago I signed a contract for the purchase and installation of an exterior door and dealt with a salesman named Aaron who quoted me at my residence. I was told I would receive a call to schedule the install. I have not heard from Lowes since and have called the store twice as well as attempted to contact Aaron directly with no response. No one I have spoken with at Lowes Orchard Park has made any attempt to actually connect me with someone with any insight into the situation and promise me a return call every time. There is no support structure for contracted work so I am simply at the mercy of any random clerk who picks up the phone at the location. I was quoted at a discount because the first door I picked out was not available and I suspect they are trying to get out of honoring that. I can provide proof of quote and email chain if Lowes has any interest in making this right.
