Well I went to do 2 returns. I bought one in store and one online because they didn’t have the item in store. The associate I dealt with for the actual return was super nice. While the other employee was kinda rude. Basically said I shouldn’t order things online if I’m unsure about the fit! Wait…. What?? So I guess it’s my fault you didn’t have my item I wanted in your inventory! I’ve lost some major weight and I’m unsure of my sizes! I’ll never shop at this location again because of the rudeness. I think some of your employees need some training in their attitudes. I’ve worked in retail and I would never be that rude! It’s like I’m supposed to know how your job works when it comes to a return! I had my receipts…

If negative stars could be given I would. Was shopping for a pitching machine and it wasn’t marked on the shelf, employee scanned the item for me and not only told me the price but showed me on the scanner that it was $100, I get to the register only to have it ring up for almost $1200, again the employee came up and said again it says it’s $100 on the scanner. Manager Bernie comes up and say because it was verbally stated there’s no way he can take off that much. And again the employee showed and stated it shows $100. Where I get rudely told that I should know better that you can’t get the machines that cheap. Being a former manager in retail to tell a customer that they are wrong because your employees messed up is not how things are done. And if there was another store near by that had the other $200 of stuff I had I wouldn’t have gotten that either. Horrible store horrible customer service and no responses to a complaint ever. The company needs to rethink it’s values

Store is bright, neat and clean. A large selection of products range from good to top notce. Peaks ones interest in new sports. They also have fine clothing to add to experience.My issue is finding a human body to assist with questions or needs. When you do find a human, they say " it's not my department". I've actually had employee continue to socially converse while I waited. Phone inquiries are the same.I would rate this store much higher if CS were attentive, observant, and excited about their job. For shoppers, do your research, know about products your looking to purchase and be prepared before going into store. In the age of Amazon, Dicks needs to ramp it up to remain pertinant & in the green.

Waiting 30 minutes for one of the three available dressing rooms. Since 70% of inventory is clothes, maybe a few more dressing rooms would be in order.

It was very busy after the holidays and I had to return an item. There was a long line, but they had full staff working fast and efficient. I was pleasantly surprised how fast the line moved. Well done!Just had another great customer service experience here. Staff member "Jessica" was very helpful and polite, both on phone and in person. Keep hiring great workers. It goes a long way.

Alex and Dillian are da sh*t! They searched relentlessly in the back stockroom for a large black Nike bag for my son’s Diving equipment, and when they couldn’t find one, the searched even more. And when they couldn’t find one, they went to another stock room. They could have easily sent me on my way. But with smiles, they helped a desperate mom out. I am currently in the parking lot writing this review and asking strong consideration of acknowledgement for these men or even a raise 😉 because those men are GOLD in a market of LAZY people.

Purchasing new golf clubs for my son and the golf staff has been extremely helpful! They have been taking the time to properly fit him and allow him to try a variety of golf clubs. This has been very helpful for him and we greatly appreciate their help !

I had to bring my 6 year old in for a baseball glove, pants, cleats and socks. Wow. We came in on a Saturday 4/23 and I can't express how impressed I was with the staff. I was dreading going because 1) it was a Saturday and 2) I had no idea what to buy. The (young) employees that helped me with both choosing a glove and finding the right cleats were so helpful and professional. The store was fully staffed and their employees were well trained. I also had my 2 year old in tow that wanted a glove as well and the employee helping us also took the time and had the patience to try and fit his tiny hands as well.It was truly a wonderful shopping experience and I wanted to let someone know. You never know what to expect while shopping, especially in a big box store on a busy Saturday and I was relieved.

My latest experience:I asked about a pair of ice skates for my granddaughter for Christmas and when the 2 "associates" finished their chat, they pointed and said "they're over there".She wears a 9 1/2 shoe but skates only come in whole sizes, so I bought a 10. The box highlights that skates had to be sharpened before use, so I had them sharpened at the time of purchase.Unfortunately, they are way too big for her, so I tried to exchange them for a smaller size (with receipt) but was told they couldn't be returned once they were sharpened. I asked to talk to a manager, who said the sales person was supposed to tell me they wouldn't be returnable before he sharpened them. There were actually 3 "sales associates" involved in the request and execution of the sharpening, NONE of whom mentioned they would not be returnable. The manager is "sorry", but not sorry enough to make it right, even though his employees did not do their job! I am steaming. Out $60 and my granddaughter still doesn't have skates.I have shopped there before and always amazed at how many salespeople there are and how none of them seem to be interested in the customers-always just standing around talking to each other. I'm sure there are a few good ones, I just haven't seen any of them.I tried talking to corporate about the problem, but they said individual stores have different policies and they could only offer me a $10 refund. If I had bought them on line they would be able to exchange them. What difference does it make which way they are purchased? Great policy if you want all your stores to close.Will not be shopping there again, in person OR on line.

While shopping , stops to use the rest room. Found it deplorable. I stopped and talked with an employee. Mentioned the situation. Questioned whether store employees clean restrooms. Or if it is contracted out. The response was, that I have three heads.

The associate's were great. I went to get hockey skates for myself. They helped me look and let me know what size would suit me as well as the brand. My kids are starting hockey so I thought I should join in. It was a great experience and they are quick for cashing you out.

Very disappointing shopping experience. There were absolutely no guns or ammo. Hunting accessories were only down one isle. Fishing equipment was high priced and in short supply. Fishing lures and spoons were very limited. I personally decided not to even look through the rest of the store. They didn't have the majority of what I was looking for. I bought a few small items, but then waited in an extremely long and slow moving line. Not a good experience.

Used coupons which helped with my purchases. Was not impressed with the cashier. Very detached and more interested in her conversation with co-workers than myself as a paying customer. Very short and snotty when I asked questions about my coupons. I could understand that if it was extremely busy, which it definitely was NOT.

So glad the store has re-opened! I bought quite a few items on-line and the experience was excellent, however I am shopping for new golf clubs and needed more help. The young man who helped me today was very knowledgeable and professional.

I enjoy visiting this store over the one at the Galleria Mall. The staff is more efficient and friendlier. The single floor also make shopping easier. The staff are very informative and not pushy salesperson's. I recently visited to have my Compound bow adjusted. They installed a peep, adjusted the draw length and poundage. Also cut arrows to size at no additional charge.

This is one heck of a store. My kid really enjoys ice skating now. The staff was able to help her pick out skates that not only for well but had a little growing room for her, for next year. The wife and I enjoy just about everything outdoors, the camping supplies (although thin late in the year) is excellent. Some really top notch gear and some inexpensive stuff for the more casual camper. The armory is well stocked as well for the shooters out there.

Terrible in store customer service!!!girl working at this store is soooo laaaazzzyy. I will not be purchasing here anymore. And I will share my experience with all my family - hunting and fishing buddies- and online community groups.4/24/20 3pm girl answering in store phone could not even help me trying to buy any one pair of The 7 brands they carry ranging from $80.00 - $599.00 chest waders. Could she walk and check for a lifelong customer thats having an issue with online curbside ordering? Nope! Simply full of attitude and I quote her - “ I cant help you, We PROBABLY don’t have any in stock”....

I'm writing a review today to give a HUGE thank you to Chris. I was shopping the afternoon of Monday May 11th, I was looking to purchase a softball bat. Chris was so patient as I tried out every single bat (they were all locked up by the way). He was extremely knowledgeable about all of the items I was interested in purchasing. Chris took the time to look up customer reviews on every softball bat I liked. I ended up purchasing the Worth Legit (28.5 oz) & I absolutely love it! The bat is amazing. I wasn't really crazy about it but Chris convinced me to give it a try & I'm so glad I listened to him. Chris, I really wanted to hug you Monday night & say thank you thank you thank you after I hit a triple at my softball game later that evening. He also contacted me to let me know a bat I wanted had just arrived at your store. If I decide to purchase the Salvo, I will make sure I speak to Chris about it first. I hope they're paying you well over there! You deserve it!!! Thank you again Chris...

I was trying to order a bike that was not in stock. I realize it was a Sunday, but I traveled to 3 departments before anyone knew how to order the bike I wanted. Thank heavens for the young man in the golf club area, he was the only one who seemed to know what was going on!

Was shopping for a Leatherman tool and even though the Outdoors Salesperson was very busy he still took time to assist me with some of the questions I had and to show me the products they had. Very clean and presentable with great service. 10/10 would recommend.

They have a lot of expensive clothing and top labels.Not a lot of staff to ask for help. The day I was there there were 2 in the cashier area. Two guys shooting hoops and 1 in sneakers. That's all I saw. I wanted help in the hunting area and waited for over 10 minutes and no one came, so I left.I wasn't impressed.

needed some tennis balls and racquetballs for the dog (he chews up the pet store ones too easily) and couldn't find it in the local super centers. They had them here and in different colors and at a great price. The staff were knowledgable and pointed me in the right direction to find things and they even had bubbles out of season (my kids thank you!).

Justin and Craig really helped us out at the store today. I hadnt been to this location previously, but they were way more helpful than my other local locations. The store was clean, well organized and had a lot more selection of items i regularly purchase at other stores outdoors stores. I very much appreciate the help though, i had made 3 calls to other stores and didnt talk to anyone that was the least bit interested in helping me out.

Went to buy cleats for my girls this past Sunday and 4 employees from the shoe department were just standing around talking the entire time . When we asked for help we were told that were out of most of the cleats in my girls size’s even before they knew what size’s we needed, turns out they had the sizes we needed. They seemed bothered to be at work and by the fact no that they had to interact with customers.

Service horrible. Clerk doesn't know sneaker brands and variations of cushioning. Can only tell you what is in stock based on his phone. If store isn't going to have sneakers on display for customer to pull and try on themselves at least train the clerks to know something about the area they work in. Horrible experience. This is a perfect example of why people don't shop in brick and motor stores anymore.
