Pharmacist is obviously overworked, cold, mean and unhelpful. In the middle of serious medical issues and pharmacists feels she know better than my actual treating doctor. I won’t return. I hear good things about Bardonia pharmacy. It’s out of my way, but I’ll try every other pharmacy before returning here.

I’ve been coming to this CVS since I moved to the area. It has gone completely down hill. The pharmacist is so unbelievably rude and disrespectful to just about everyone she crosses paths with. The drive in window is always closed because it’s broken or whatever. The only redeeming quality is some of the staff there. I feel so bad they need to work along side her. You all deserve medals.

I echo the complaints about the incredibly rude pharmacist at this location. I realize working in pharmacies is challenging work right now, but this woman needs to find another job if she isn't able to be kind and patient to those she is supposed to be serving. If you can, go to the CVS on Livingston instead. They manage to still be kind even when they are overwhelmed.

Pharmacist was disgusting. Refused to fill a script for my husband who was in major surgery while I was on the phone with her. He was in a hit and run on Christmas, will be out for work for 6 months, and apparently my biggest worry is getting post op meds from this angry power hungry nut job... she called me a liar when I told her another pharmacy didn't have his meds in stock (another CVS that told me to move the script here), claimed he wasn't an established patient when we have been going there for almost 15 years before we moved, and then when I asked why she would not fill his script she just yelled "I don't have to give you a reason!" and hung up on me! I called a different CVS which helped us out and when I told them what happened they knew EXACTLY WHO I was talking about so she must be known for this type of behavior. I will 100% be putting in a formal complaint at corporate.

‼️Avoid at all costs- this CVS deserves zero stars. Drive thru is closed, they don’t answer phones(was flat out told they aren’t answering any calls because of being short staffed), prescriptions say processing forever without actually being filled- and if they are- you’ll have to wait in a line of a dozen people. Last time I waited almost an hour in a line going down two aisles for the pharmacy and only half were actually filled because apparently they are two weeks behind on prescriptions (which is why they endlessly say “in process”) and overheard them tell someone that their system is sending out alerts that prescriptions are ready when they actually aren’t- but you won’t find that out until after you wait in a huge line- since you can’t call them. On top of that, with a couple exceptions, everyone I’ve encountered at this pharmacy has been unhelpful and/or has an attitude problem. I dread going every single time and will be transferring pharmacies because this one is a joke.Update- I immediately switched to a local pharmacy after leaving this review, and it has been SO SO much better. I highly recommend changing to and supporting a local pharmacy over this chain. I did try a few times to get in touch with and speak to the store manager last year but was unsuccessful. I have not been to this location since then, so I cannot say if anything has improved or not since last year.

Today I had an appointment to get a Covid vaccine.This was my second vaccine at this location: Orangeburg rd, Orangeburg NY CVS pharmacy. The Asian woman who said she works as a pharmacist and being a pharmacy manager asked me to give her my vaccination card that I didn’t take with me because it was not required while I was setting my appointment on CVS web site. I had all my Covid vaccines at CVS at different locations and CVS has all my records. But she said that I can not have a vaccine without a card and my appointment was canceled. I was surprised how this manager (who refused to give me her name) is treating the patients so badly. No respect for old people, no help. Just: I am so busy and go away with your problem. It is so rude.

This was my first and the only time coming to this pharmacy. The Asian woman who works as a "pharmacist" apparently, is clearly unhappy with her poor life and a job, if treating the patients that badly as I have witnessed myself today.She is extremely arrogant, rude, nasty and has a very bad mouth! I was stunned of how she treated other patients, myself including! She was literally barking on the people, that you had a feeling if you perhaps broke into someone's home instead of coming to the pharmacy to get your medicine done. This person has zero manners, is inpatient, unprofessional, has zero communication skills and should never be allowed to work among the human beings! I feel bad for the other coworkers that have to deal with her every single day! Worst place ever! No wonder they don't have much clientele there! Avoid at any cost!

Today, my mother-in-law received a flu shot at this location. There is asian pharmacist seemed rather careless during the administration of the injection, displaying a lack of attention to detail. Furthermore, the injection itself was delivered rather forcefully, causing discomfort to my mother-in-law. To make matters worse, the pharmacist left without offering any sort of explanation or post-injection advice. It's disheartening when healthcare professionals fail to prioritize patient care and communication. I feel compelled to share this experience in the hope that the necessary steps will be taken to address these issues and ensure a more positive and attentive healthcare environment for future patients. I won’t go back here anymore.

Encountered an Asian woman with sharp eyes at this pharmacy again today. She was very impatient in communication and seemed to want everyone coming to pick up their medication to leave quickly. Except for this Asian woman, who was really rude, everyone else in the pharmacy was much nicer. Today, I couldn't help but get into a verbal conflict with her because I wanted to ask why my medication was not moving forward, but she was very aggressive and impatient in her questioning. She immediately raised the tension of the conversation to a very intense level, and then I also got angry and raised my voice. She said I was rude, and I said she was rude too. I showed her my problem on my phone because I couldn't communicate with her normally. She seemed like she wanted to eat me alive. She shook her head and pounded the keyboard forcefully to vent her dissatisfaction with me, and then told me aggressively to come back tomorrow to pick up my medication before leaving. I couldn't help but curse at her, and she also cursed back at me. This woman really does not seem to enjoy her job. If she really is unhappy with her job, she should just change jobs. As patients, we really do not want to see this kind of hostile attitude and the "get out of here" attitude.The old staff of this pharmacy generally have a bad attitude, especially a young woman with a young Asian face. She always communicates with people with the eyes of the inmate. Sometimes she is very kind to other young colleagues. Not friendly, I don’t know why this pharmacy is that the new employees are better and friendly than the old ones. If the staff of this pharmacy can see these evaluations and hope they can change themselves, I can understand that you are busy at work, but when we contact you, we are still patients. When we are sick and need medicine to solve the problem, your eyes and Attitude is too important for patients.—————————

I live in NJ, but I try to make it my business to go to the CVS in Orangeburg. The staff in the store and pharmacy are always so kind and very helpful to me. The store is always clean and fully stocked. There are never empty shelves. I love this CVS!

Terrible pharmacy. Avoid if you can. They too busy and understaffed to function properly. The staff is so pressed that they are rude EVERY SINGLE TIME you call even when it's about THEIR error.

Please believe the reviews!!! Dr called in meds for my daughter 2 days ago and it was never filled. I get there and the tech has the nastiest attitude ever. Honestly, I’ve suffered for years dealing with this pharmacy. It’s convenient and I LOVE Sony the pharmacist but CVS in general has gone from bad to worse. Going to make a change ASAP!

One of the worst CVS pharmacies in the area.The pharmacy line is always extremely long with only a single worker at the station when there are two checkout stations.The pharmacist is happy to tell you that you need a second prescription for insulin needles(when you already have a prescription for the medication you've been using for months) but is too busy to actually check people out or be helpful.Perhaps it's time to switch to Walgreens in Tappan.

Requested refills for my prescription Oct 8. For about a week, it kept saying "in process", probably contacting my doctor so I waited. I checked again because I've been without my necessary meds and the order is gone off the site completely! No trace that I put in an order! No notification that it was fulfilled, cancelled, anything. I called and was on hold for 20 minutes solid. I called again to call the store. I asked if anyone was answering the phone and was told the pharmacy was really busy. I asked if I could leave a message so I could leave a callback number. The guy on the phone simply said no. And last month, when I went to pick up my meds, the cashier wanted to doublecheck that my medication was okay even though it had already been filled by the pharmacist and all I had to do was pay. He was on a personal call and we all waited for a very extended period of time just for him to come over and say, "Yeah, fine." I apologized to the long line that had formed although it wasn't my fault.

One star is one too many for this place.Worst customer service I've ever experienced at a pharmacy. Called twice recently and they never answered; waited for 23 minutes first, then 18 minutes second time before hanging up.After waiting 2 days for an alert that Rx was filled, went there and was it would be ready in an hour. Gave them a little extra time, went back to pick up the next day, not ready. Went back the day after only to be told it's actually out of stock.Pharmacist makes no effort to take responsibility for errors or try to figure out solutions. Temp pharmacist there today takes a "this isn't my store" attitude rather than trying to appease and resolve.Through the years it's gotten worse. wish they would shut down and Walgreens would take that space.

Wish I could give negative stars. This is the WORST pharmacy on the planet. 6 day backup for meds. Drive through is always closed. Line out the door. They never answer the phone. Short staffed all the time. People don’t wear masks or observe social distancing so the last thing I want to do is go into the store. I have 3 kids under the age of 5years old and unvaccinated. ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE. Unfortunately I have to use CVS because of my employers Rx plan. It’s the inner ring of hell.

Deserves -5 stars this staff here at this location is disgusting they are nothing but rude and have withheld information from me when I was trying to just get a status for my husband which I have done on multiple occasions with multiple different cvs’s they said they yelled at me that I’m not the patient and then hung up on me for no and declined to answer me as I tried to get a manager on the phone turns out this was the pharmacist herself and nasty human being if you fill your prescriptions here I’ll be praying for you

My daughter had told me about the online speedy photo reprints at CVS in both New York City & Los Angeles California.She is savvy on the internet but today I braved my iPhone and went on the CVS site myself.Much to my elation within an hour my enlargements and prints were ready for me to pick up.The sales staff at CVS were fantastic . ILeft with super high quality glossy photo prints … Two 5x7 s and Two 4x6 s for the reasonable rate of $6 and change.I want to highly commend CVS for this in store service … and especially the Orangeburg NY store in the shopping center on Orangeburg Rd.I will be back these pictures are certainly worth 1000s of words !!!!!

Worse pharmacy ever, refuses to fill prescriptions on time and have the worst customer service ever. This prescription I just had picked up has no label, and after being allowed to pick up the patients prescription they refused to allow me a copy of the list of prescriptions for said patient . Is it not federally mandated to label every narcotics or what? You guys have a lot of nerve calling yourself caring professionals.

Pharamacist's attitude is unaccepatable. Very arrogant. It was not like this until this young lady was hired here. She was talking down on me like my doctor doesn't know anything and I do not know anything. Well, my doctor has 25+ years of experience and he knows this things better than her, of course! My medicine was not covered but my doc prescribed this medicine because the other insurance-accepted medicines do not work for me. Don't tell me to tell doctor "he should know what to prescribe." She just needed to say "the doctor needs to send prior authorization or change to insurance-accepted medicine" which she couldn't.Other than her, the pharmacy staff in general are very gentle and kind.

I don’t think I’ve been to a cvs pharmacy that I have had a good experience at. The wait times are insane, they never answer their calls. I can’t wait until a competitor takes them out of business. The employees are overworked, stressed and barely keeping up. Clearly CVS only cares about their stock price, keeping costs as low as possible snd not hiring enough staff.

I’m a us citizen from Boston and registered in advance with a visiting family member ( wife’s sister in town to help take care of my son as we visitin nyc and Jersey over weekend. visiting from South Korea. We waited in line for the covid test ( preregistered on cvs.com ; through clerk was late to our scheduled time. We provided proof of identity ; a foreign South Korean passport for my sister in law. She needs the record for entrance regulatio 72 hrs notice for flight back home . We were told that this vaccine was for us passport id only in New Jersey and New York.I challenged this this was never mentioned online and I think discriminatory way for this staff not to do their job. I asked to speak to a manager as we did this test a few days prior in CVS massachusetts and it’s free if you register. They called the police on us for holding up the car line. They refused a preregistered free covid test … that we just got two days earlier at a cvs in a neighboring state called massachusetts.I mean What additional id is needed here. Two forms of ID was providedShe can’t do that ? This clerk at the pharmacy refusing to do her job? Where did it say only us nationals can get this covid test ? She herself was a minority Indian or Pakistani decent.Who told her that policy .Is this communism? Group think??? This is USA what’s going on???Completely uncceptable Karen behavior; Just do your job and serve the people.The rude staff turned us away. Worst treatment ever experienced. No decency for concernSomething escalated for nothing… called the police on us A real Karen . All I wanted was a free covid test for my sister in law visiting Internationally and needed to go home and needed documentation she was checked within 72 hrs. This test is a free test. Completely wrong on all counts on this orangeburg NY cvs service . The police came and realized my story made sense , and told us to go to urgent care ( this clerk wasted our time and plans we had booked appointment ) ; She should have just did her job . The covid check is free online ( if you register in advance !!!! Don’t go here save yourself the headache and frustration What does CVS say about this ?

I would give 0 stars if I couldNot helpful. I was on hold for over an hour, 11-3-20 decided it was easier to GO IN to the Store for assistance, and was then given the phone number I'd been on hold with for an hour to answer my questions.Had another question today 11-11-20. Got angry hostile answer at the drive through window,. Called for assistance Minute clinic. Have been on hold for 20 minutes... "Please continue to hold for assistance"... "We apologize fro the delay"... "Thank you"... Really?Why don't they HIRE more available representatives? They are making money vis-a-vis the large demand of the pandemic...My policy is not to put up with this type of "assistance". Easier to find another company who can help me.

You CANNOT talk to them over the phone at all!!! They DO NOT PICK UP their phone at all. They did not have the medication ready so I wanted to call and ask why they would not have that ready and what I would need to do, but I wasn’t able to talk to anyone!!! I was on hold for 40mins in the morning and got no one. Then, I called back later in the afternoon for another 40min hold. Just automated recording telling me to wait.

CVS Orangeburg is a mess. There is no priorities in what prescription are fill and when. I’m supposed to wait 24 hours for antibiotics for bronchitis. Are you kidding me. You a horrible pharmacy, and if I didn’t have to use you I wouldn’t. Pathetic!!!

The pharmacy is the worst. Doctor sends prescriptions electronically. CVS claims they didn't come through. I call the doctor and the prescriptions were in fact sent through. After the third time, I had them sent elsewhere. Don't waste your time.

They seem to be doing better once again with more help, Drive- through is open once again, and lines are not as long! Very helpful recently at the inside checkout counter!
