This store is a bit out-of-the-way for me and I typically I’m not too familiar with the layout of a dollar general but with help from a very friendly employee named Jamie I was able to navigate through the store without being there and away from my family for too long. When I come for work related things, she’s always there to assist me as well. I appreciate the time she takes to get me in and out of the store. Help me with my phone service as well. Thank you keep up the great work.

I walk in the store in Ontario, NY off of 104/Slocum, and as soon as I walk in, the male employee about 5'5" with a beard goes "WE CLOSE IN 10 MINUTES". I then proceed to the medicine isle and he finds me and holds his hand up and says, "5 MINUTES". I understand you close at 8pm, however, there is a way to go about that. I've worked in retail and whoever was in the store would just get locked in after closing so no one else could enter but those in the store could finish. I may not give dollar general any of my business anymore for that simple and ridiculous act of customer service.

In-store good selection watches sale prices many times you can find things they're much cheaper than you can find at other stores. But also need to watch your prices because sometimes they can be more expensive than your other stores around the area. Overall good shopping experience

There were 3 employees at the time I went in. One had her mask set under her nose, one had it hanging off her chin and the other (manager I believe) didn't even have one. Items weren't priced according to stickers, service but anything but friendly.

I pulled into the parking lot (Rt. 104 in Ontario, NY), and saw an old man laying on the ground with his driver's door wide open. I parked, ran over to check on him, and helped him to his feet, he said he was okay. I go in and grab my stuff and set it at the checkout, when an employee said he was still standing in the same place. I ran back out and helped him get into his car (the SUV sits high, he couldn't boost himself in after the fall). We talked for a minute and he drove away ok. I go back into the store, and these employees had already taken care of my bill. I wish I got their names, but I'm so grateful for them. Being just after Christmas, it was a great help. I don't want any recognition for helping someone like that, but it was very good of these awesome girls to do so!

Not my favorite store but ok in a pinch. All stores start out nice and end up the same, overstocked and under staffed. Company might want to look at ways to balance profits, staffing and prices a little better.

Great sales and they accept manufacturer coupons and they always have store coupons on purchases 5.00 off 25 00 as an example

Great place nice people. Only thing I don't like is they don't open till 9. Other ones open at 8.
