I called numerous times and they never pick up or call back. I had kittens I had to find home for asap because I need to be out of my apartment in a few days so I went there with them and the woman there was extremely rude to me and caused me to have a panic attack and break down in tears and then just closed a door at my face. They call themselves super hero’s? Disgusting people!

I was interested in a cat. With numerous phone calls and promises to call back which never happened. Suddenly I find out the cat was homed and never even released for adoption. I went to Delhi, got a great cat and it’s a great place

Super Heroes was fantastic!!! We live in New Hartford and found our adorable kitty here. They were so nice through the process. We adopted Trixie who was just spayed, had all her shots and was chipped. They gave us all the records to give to our vet. Everyone was very kind and helpful. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for their forever furbaby.

Staff can be kinda rude sometimes. But most of the time they are great. The organization is great at helping the community. They are truly needed in this area.

We went to visit shelter to look at a little girl who ended up not being a fit for us. The staff however was amazing through the whole process. They were informative, understanding, and very compassionate towards the animals.

This place does so much good for the community - they dedicate everything they have towards the care of the animals they look after and always strive to maintain high standards while helping as many as they can. The people who run SIRJ are some of the best, most selfless, people I have ever met. They love what they do, and always try to find the best match possible for the animals and the humans. No information about what to do when arriving. Having to wait 25 min for someone to tell me another 1/2 hour so someone could eat Lunch, that's after I drove more than 60 miles to visit.

Do not look for animals here because they will not let you adopt of you are honest with them and tell them that you had to take an animal back to it home because it did not like it new home.
