Favorite place to shop. The deli is fantastic and there is a large selection of prepared foods. I like that I can speak to a butcher when buying meat and it’s the only place I’ll buy fish in Oneonta. It’s always fresh. Great selection of organic groceries.

Cashier decided to be an idiot when entering an item. I had 18 bagels she charged me for a dozen and a half plus 2. I tried to calmly explain the issue. She decided that she entered it correctly. I tried to explain that a dozen and a half is 12+6=18. She said straight to my face that 12+6=16 and plus 2 more equals 18. I tried to explain that would equal 20. But she refused to acknowledge her mistake. I then asked for a manager to which she decided to roll her eyes to. The manager who she called didn’t really care about the situation because she tried to hear the conversation from the other lane. When both the idiot cashier and I said “no get over here,” she listened to the conversation gave a quick response and tried to leave to return to her line before the issue was resolved. I didn’t accept the quick response because it didn’t take in the account of the additional charge of the 2 bagels. Before I know it the manager continues to attempt to leave the conversation, a bagger from another line comes over as well as the person supervising self checkout when this conversation should have been between the idiot cashier, the manager and myself. Also it didn’t help that the bagger and self checkout lady blocked my wife with social anxiety from leaving the heated situation. So once my wife informed me of her anxiety peaking, I had to basically just go with the idiot cashier decision to get her out of there.To sum up this review:The people employed are lacking a basic arithmetic, include themselves when they are not needed, and have a management staff who does care about resolving a dispute between their cashier and a customer.

Pharmacy Dept. Is WONDERFUL! (So nice to actually talk and verify things with a real person who offers valid suggestions rather than the limitations provided by an app... especially in this mountainous rural area where you can't rely on cell phone coverage consistently)

Came in today looking for lamb chops. None on the shelf, but the butcher took his time to cut them fresh for us. Such a refreshing experience. Thank you so much for your professionalism!

I have never received a full prescription here, there's always some excuse. When Looking up the pharmacists license number, I found that she was convicted of stealing narcotic medication in PA. I assume she's back up to her old tricks.

Big Sign on the front of the store still says hours 6 AM to 1 AM- that hasn’t been the case for several years. The actual hours are in very small print on one of the windows you can barely even find.Also the bagel scene has gone totally south. It’s a mystery when they’ll be out in the morning anymore I can’t seem to get them anymore before I have to head to work. (Sometimes not till 9 AM or later, 😢when it used to be dawn For the last 20 years)I don’t understand this from what I have seen price chopper bagels have Been in huge demand ever since I’ve been shopping there. I’ve had friends come to town to visit me and literally go over there and buy as many as they can to bring home with them.These bagels are the reason I went to Price chopper and not Hannaford for all these years, but now there’s no difference really in the two stores. My biggest problem is there’s no consistency with what time they come out in the morning.. it has Just become a total dice roll if your going in expecting them. I imagine the other early shoppers like me have sort of given up also.The complaint about the manager is also pretty accurate. She hasn’t been openly rude to me lately, but I just avoid her altogether because she always has a look on her face like don’t you dare talk to me. I will avoid self check out and go wait in line just so I don’t have to be near her at this point.

To be honest - I didn't think that Maskots was all that it was hyped up to be. The food wasn't anything special and it was way over-priced. The burgers we like $12 and didn't include fries. For 3 adults and 1 child we paid over $80 for lunch!! (2 burgers, 1 order of wings, 1 side of fries, a kid pasta w/sauce, 1 fountain drink and 1 beer)

My experience at this Price chopper was the best. Several times in the store could not maneuver myself even though they had aisle 1,2,3,4,5 etc... listed what was in the aisle. Twice I stopped employees and they stop doing what they were doing in the store to help me and they did. Store was well stocked and it was not hard to get a rain- check.

I've been shopping at the Oneonta, NY Price Chopper for many years. Our store is a great place to shop. The produce is generally fresh, and Robert is always pleasant and helpful. The bakery had a dreadful manager for awhile but he's gone. The bread, rolls and many other goodies are fresh baked and I can often get a "still-warm" loaf of bread. The Deli has some helpful and pleasant folks there as well. Tara is always just as delightful as can be...and so helpful. Ah yes, the Fish Monger at our store was simply fabulous but he moved to another store. The new folks in that area are doing great. I love that the butchers will offer advice on various cuts of meat and will cut it so it works for me. When I go to check out, I look for Patricia or Jacki to be on register, these ladies are quick, accurate, and delightful. And when I'm ready to leave, Gary helps me get the groceries into my car. I so enjoy the people, they make my shopping experience easy and pleasant.

I have a complaint about a certain front end manager at your Oneonta store.Her name is Laurie Page, she is very rude to customers and especially her cashiers.She gives people dirty looks and talks to people like they are children. Very condescending also.This has been going on for many many years.I think she's been there too long and should step down and be demoted to cart pusher.It's time for someone nice in her position.That is all...

I tried today for the first time your Rotisserie all natural chicken. It was terrible, it was dry, over cooked and tasteless. Certainly not worth the price of $7.99.I do believe the dog will enjoy it though

The prices are high, unless you shop their deals and have an AdvantEdge card to look for what will give you extra points. I really love coming here for their selection of coffee! It's the broadest collection I have found around Cooperstown and Oneonta. My fiancé and I are coffee lovers and we love to try every dark blend we can find. This location also has a much better selection of... well, everything, compared to the location in Cooperstown. If they were cheaper this would be our go-to store.

Meat and produce are excellent. The butcher counter is top-notch and the service is terrific. The rest of the store has a huge selection of everything you might need. Large seafood section. Bagels, bread and full bake shop as well.

Well stocked, friendly,helpful staff ,store clean ,lots of parking. Good amount of organic food, excellent soup. Parking lot in the Oneonta store is a slip and fall lawyer's dream. Tar and gravel and paint would be wonderful. Only four stars because of the parking lot.

I am a huge fan of Price Chopper. Their meat is excellent unlike Walmart's shoe leather meat. The produce is also very good and doesn't spoil within two days like BJ's. I love the selection of cheeses and Deli Foods. Price Chopper overall seems to be cleaner and more organized than either of the other local grocery stores. I am not a paid actor, it is my honest opinion.

Amazing Bakery- Fresh Donuts and Bagels every day of the week! They are open til 1 am which is super convenient.(Thank you for satisfying my late-night sweet tooth!) Next to Walmart prices. I'll definitely be doing more shopping here in the future.

Best Butcher and Seafood from a chain supermarket in our area. Decent NYC style bagels and excellent produce as well. Nice bakery and desserts. Shelves always stocked and the lines may get long at times, but are always better than competitors. Good organic / health food section as well.

I recently shopped at your store and I paid with my debit card, I requested $50 cash back and I was charged .50¢ for this. I know it's a small amount but I've never been charged to get cash back when making a purchase anywhere over many years, my card policy even says there won't be charges at stores. Overall store was clean, stocked well, but when I complained about charge the cashier treated me rudely.

I love their cakes, however whoever took my order a week ago did not relay it properly and when I got here to pick it up it isn't ready, I left my number to be reached in case of any problems but was never contacted and I've waited over a half an hour to be helped. Communication could definitely be improved.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE check the packaged meat expiration date. Unless you want meat from last November when it is February. I called and received no apology or anything (I live out of town and commute for to work at the Hospital). And I did check the first package which was dated march 30 2022 but the second one must have been the expired one. Yall just beware before you end up in the hospital.

Price Chopper is the place to go for meat. Can't beat the quality or selection. It can be difficult to find meats to feed only one or 2 persons, but they do usually have small cuts, small quantities available. For that I am grateful!

I come here because it's usually quicker than shopping at Wal-Mart. The staff is friendly and the store is clean. The vegetable freshness is 50/50 depending on the day. I wish the check out would be faster, it's slow because they don't have baggers and you usually end up doing it yourself.Update: I came here during morning hours rather than afternoon, staff much more efficient and alert. Check out was a breeze. Added a star. I definitely recommend shopping here in the morning if you can.

The store is clean and neat. The employees are very friendly. They are very friendly and capable of helping you find items you might not be able to locate yourself. If they don't know where an item might be they will find an employee that will be able to find it. Also if they don't have a specific item/flavor they can request it for you.

I love Price Chopper. The meats and produce are fresh. They have great deals all the time. The prices are a little bit more than Walmart, but you get what you pay for. I hate going to Walmart.

Walmart was out of the Insulin we use, we call Price Chopper in Oneonta, they have it except instead of pay $24.88 they tell me it is $144. Are you sure we are talking about the same thing? Yes, we pay $138 for it. I hope that is a case Price and not for what I get. Drive to Norwich Walmart and buy for $24.88. This is CRIMINAL if someone wasn't mistaken. Want to rip up my Advantage Card and never shop there again. May report them to Albany!

Great products when on sale and have a membership card otherwise can be quite expensive. Has some things you can only find there and I will go out of my way to get it here. Clean store and friendly smiling staff members.
