Poorly organized & ran store that treats their vendors horribly, with constantly bad attitudes from multiple higher-up employees. Cold/frozen items will sit out in the aisles at room temp for hours while they are "stocking" I'd rather shop at a Dollar General the rest of my life than spend any money here.

Ended up being a little disoriented with all the remodeling for the express lane and self-service checkout. The aisle seemed to be arranged a little bit more sporadically. Even though in a state of confusion was able to go up to the cashier to find out weird things are located. The service members and staff were very pleasant and helpful. And the HR department is straight to the point as well as willing to listen. Didn't do shopping this time. One downside is from previous experience can't go from one door all the way across to the other door no more bottle return connection walkway.

An impressive sized supermarket in Oneonta with an excellent bakery selection and reasonable prices. I stop by here once a year when I need that little taste of Maine in the 607.

It's a nice upscale grocery store. Lots of exotic foods. Also your everyday picks. Well stocked, good parking and clean. Plenty of carts and didnt have to wait. Good sales and prices. I did have to look around for a customer service person. They had left the desk area and were missing for awhile. I needed to get a card application for their online membership. All in all, it's a pretty good place. I could shop there again and be happy.Good luck!

Cashier was more concerned with being quick and getting me out of her way than bagging groceries correctly. Happens more often than not . Bread was zipped up in a bag with my cold stuff. All cans and bottles in one large bag, making it too heavy to pick up with one hand. I had plenty of bags.

I have only recently started shopping at this store in the last few months and the one end of the freezer section with ice creams has had this chronic ice build up for some time now and it doesn't look like anyone is tending to it. I've also noticed some of the small containers of ice cream are bashed and those same containers have been there for a while now as I check each time I visit the store and this little issue really speaks volumes to me about the level of care and concern toward the customers. There seems to be a lack of effort in this particular location and in my opinion every supermarket/grocers first and utmost important priority should be that of supplying your customers with the freshest product available. We rely on you to provide us food we can consume safely and without question. Hopefully posting this here will help to remedy the issue. I have never seen layers of ice like this on any products in any other grocery store. Nor bashed and damaged perishable product remaining on the shelf for extended periods of time.

I enjoy this store very much, but I was very disappointed that both door/cart locations had zero sanitary wipes, Paper towels, nothing, so I went into the bathroom, there Also was No paper towels...and when I went to talk to customer service theres someone at checkout with no mask...what happened to no mask no service?? Produce I'm alway pleased with but today, again i dont know who was in charge but the broccoli was rotten and gross! Not pleased

Extremely disappointed in the bakery. I ordered a cake. I didn’t realize that I had to spell out that while decorating the cake you should make it look pretty. Never have I seen such a plain blah cake in my life. I am absolutely humiliated and embarrassed to present this tomorrow! The photo the website presents a decorative border and flowers with the option of adding wording. Where are the flowers? Where is the decorative border? This is just plain Jane all the way.

Excellent staff and pharmacist here. Prices are higher but I love their variety. We get most of our prescriptions here.

Hannaford is very similar to Wegmans on a smaller scale! Produce is excellent; always fresh and available! The bakery, deli counter and fish department are well stocked with anything you want( with ethnic cuisine)I highly recommend them if you're in the area...

This store has a great selection of fruits and vegetables. The deli staff is helpful and they have a good selection of prepared foods. Yes, the shelves are sometimes missing an item I'm looking for, but that is true for many stores these days 😢. I like purchasing store-brand items because you get a 2% reward.

C - Store and building are clean. Somewhat small and limited on certain ethnic variety items. Would like to see better bakery items. I still think Price Chopper is far superior. Hannaford gets a solid "C"Update: Sept 2023:Empty shelves, poor selections, no molasses(?) Prices are OUTRAGEOUS!Seems this supermarket has severely declined since opening in the 1990's.

Just great, a variety of health food, organic, and vegan products also, easy checkout. They have items other stores do not have, some common items are sometimes pricier than other superstores, but their sales are often better than other superstores. The parking lot could use more shade trees. Usually, the shade tree parking area is full.

Today I was an obnoxious customer. Lisa in the pharmacy is the greatest. I came in with a bad attitude and she is always so professional and friendly. Put her in charge of human resources. I'm sorry for being a jerk Lisa. Enjoy your weekend ❤️

Update: months have passed and now they are never out of scallions but it's weird bc that store was always high quality and decent prices but their produce isn't great anymore and their meet has gotten low quality with super high prices I use to never get meat at Walmart but now they got better and Hannaford got worse since covid idk maybe they changed meat processors. But so many people when I'm at Hannaford say they wish it was as good as it use to be. The veteran staff if always awesome but newer people two years or less have no manors and not good customer service. No hi how are you nothing. It's like your not there even at the registers. I went food shopping with my husband and all I wanted was to find someone to help me see if they had scallions. A manager said he don't know and didn't look another guy with the manager said no one is there today and don't work in there. Than I asked a front end manager to help and said well I don't know not my area and I was like can't you go in the back and look since it's dead up here and she said I can check buy if I don't see it up in the front of the cooler I'm not looking for it. So yeah no scallions. I worked over 25 years in retail and that customer service was disappointing.when I worked in retail we worked as a team and did whatever we can to help q customer. Use to be my favorite food store. Deli has one lady very rude and mean. Cashier's don't ever greet or anything. I feel like customer service has gone down. Everyone is miserable. They do however have amazing produce I'll only get here and deli meat lasts longer than anywhere in Oneonta.
