This store is so filthy!! Floors not swept. Can hardly get down aisles. Poor management. Absolutely disgusting store!

Upon entering the store, a wave of neglect and disarray is immediately apparent. Dust-covered shelves showcase products that seem to have lingered for far too long, their expiration dates obscured by grime. The once-white floors are now a mosaic of unidentifiable stains, and a musty odor hangs in the air. Shopping carts sport a collection of mysterious smudges, reflecting a lack of cleanliness. The checkout area mirrors the overall state of the store, with sticky counters and discarded receipts. It's a disheartening sight, leaving customers with a palpable sense of discomfort and questioning the store's commitment to hygiene and customer satisfaction.

The staff here are excellent. They work hard and have great customer service. DG Corporate should know they have a great crew in the Vernon store! I’m in at least once a week for the past 5+ years and have ZERO complaints. Store is never messy, everything is well stocked and organized. You’re doing great work!They’ve also added more refrigeration so they have a wide selection of frozen foods and also sell milk, eggs, cheese, some meats like bacon and deli meats. This was a huge upgrade for the area.

Staffs nice has stuff u can't get at other shops. Quality of products may very. If you buy electronics your gonna over pay on poor quality better to go online or Walmart for those things honestly

Lines are slow, poorly stocked products ( could be due to transportation issues and not the stores fault), and the place is a consistent mess. It literally looks like a child ran down the aisles of the store knocking things off of the shelves. Carts with items to stock or empty boxes litter the aisles making it hard to navigate with a cart. I don't know if this is an issue with lack of employees but I see it not only in this particular store but most of them in the area if not all of them. It reminds me of shopping at the old nicoles or kmart in Utica and we all know how that ended. 🙄

Once this store is finished being resetted it should be fine, it has taken way longer than it should have. Loose of sales right now is huge. Out of 7 isles , 5 of them no one can get down. You would think upper management would be there helping to get the store set.

They are always out of everything that is a popular item..why not just order more if it is selling out quickly?!?! I prefer the sylvan beach location! They are properly stocked and gave a better selection as well.The staff is always friendly in oneida! This store needs some TLC, very outdated and cluttered.

Store is open 8:00am-10:00pm everyday. We do not sell liquor that's next door. We are friendly and fast at check out isles are crowded because of Christmas items I will work on getting them out of the way. Someone please update photos, these are really old. Also go online and do the survey, rate my store I can't fix anything if you do not tell us what needs fixing. Thank you Theresa (SM)

By far one of the worse Dollar Generals I have ever been to. Long line prime time lunch time and (1) cashier on a $5 coupon day, there was another worker who I guess wasn’t clocked in yet around, why didn’t the other cashier ask her to jump on a couple mins early to stop so many people in line during a pandemic? The lady ahead of me brought this attention to the cashier and the cashier was snotty about it and said sorry about your experience with sarcasm behind it the lady reacted as if I would and politely told the cashier to “f” off. To be expected, we do our part wear masks and support such a business please put more cashiers on during the weekend and have them un-clutter the isles please. I don’t think I’ll be visiting this location again anyway.

The employees are awesome, and everything is easy to find along the aisles. Fair prices, and a good variety of merchandise. It's a short walking distance from where I am staying so that's always a plus.

Great deals, i can always find what i need and more. Over exceeding my expectation of their customer service at this store, always upbeat and friendly. I misplaced my drivers license somewhere and they found it and called me.100 out of 100 👍👍👍

The entire store smells like urine and is always an absolute mess. Sticky floors too, yum!Update: the store gets worse every time I go in. It's disgusting. You can't walk down any aisle, let alone push a cart down it. Clean your store up and hire a manager that does their job!

They had what i wanted but it was difficult to find and the isles were very narrow making it difficult to navigate around people and endcaps. Also what i bought i found i couldve gotten cheaper at walmart. But i needed what bought right then.
