The Pharmacy automation answering service is absolutely infuriating. When a person needs to speak to someone in the Pharmacy, you have to leave your number and pray that they call you back in 2 hours. Who does that? CVS, that's who. My time is valuable and waiting around for someone to call me back, is not providing good service. How does one know the name of the prescription the doctor ordered for you over the phone. How can I check to see if the order is there for me to pick up, when I don't know the name of it. I need to speak with someone. OH, EXCUSE ME. THERE ISN'T ANYONE I CAN TALK TO. JUST LEAVE A NUMBER!!! Countless times I have had to stand in line to pick up a prescription and only find they hadn't filled it. Said it was the doctors fault. Drove several times to the doctors office to find out why the prescriptions weren't sent. Doctors office verified that it was sent. CVS Pharmacy just didn't fill it!!! I have put up with this way too long. I'm finding another Pharmacy that cares about their customers, their health and answers their phone when I have a question. I am not alone in my feelings regarding this Pharmacy. I spoken with many other customers that share the same experiences. If I could rate this review any lower, I would have. CVS, I leave this negative review in hope that you see it as an opportunity to better your services. Don't just regard your customers as a "PHONE NUMBER", but as a person seeking answers to their questions they might have.

The employees who work at this place are ridiculous. I show up at 1:22 get in line "sorry we're going on lunch break soon" with only one person ahead of me. Sit out side in the hot sun for 40 minutes waiting on an 87 degree day. Today I walked in 7 inches of snow nearly got frost bite on my face and they tell me my prescription won't be ready until tomorrow even though it's been more than 30 days. Also told me they haven't had my other prescription in stock for a long time. Weird kids in their 20s work here who don't know what they're doing. I have never heard of a business that closes for lunch. Another time they sent me home after walking there because of some technical difficulties. They closed the whole place for the day. You can't even call them anymore because they set up a voice mail system that says it will call you back in a few hours. Unbelievable

I just had my new passport photo taken there and it was the best passport photo I've ever taken. The young woman helping me was excellent at customer service!!

Very rude. Manager seemed to take pleasure in telling me I had the wrong Medicare card. Store also wasn’t open at 8:00 and she decided to leave me waiting at the front desk to show a coworker where something was even though he said it was fine and to take care of me first

I have been with olean CVS for 10 years. It used to be just fine until a couple years ago. You can no longer call and speak with pharmacy staff- they make you leave a voicemail to be called back. 50% of the time i get a call back after 20 minutes. Other times I get no call back. This alone is making me switch to another pharmacy. Even when you were able to call in, you would be on hold for 20 min or more. One time I complained about it, and i was just told- 20min? Thats good for us. I am over frustrated with their services. The inability to speak with someone finally made me switch. It is a shame- the staff were friendly when you came in the store.

I honestly wouldn’t bother calling unless you want to wait 30+ minutes to get someone on the phone. Not employees fault they’re understaffed but if you’re trying to get any questions or concerns answered you’re better off just going there in person. Inconvenient for those that live a 20+ min drive away from a pharmacy.

The pharmacy is pathetically understaffed. I’ve tried calling with questions on numerous occasions and after sitting on hold for 30+ minutes just give up. Drive thru window is constantly closed due to lack of staffing. When you do go inside you stand to wait in line. Other than that the store seems well stocked clean and orderly.

Should've read the reviews before stopping in here. We travel the US, and this is the worst CVS that I've ever been in. The manager sets the tone for being rude and dismissive to customers. Bathrooms can not be accessed if needed. So basically, they act like you are inconveniencing them if you do anything other than shop and do self check out. Great business model if you're looking to shut down. Olean deserves better.

First they didn't have my sons prescription in stock and had to order it, thats fine. So I got a couple days worth somewhere else. The doctor doubled my sons dose so I needed more and the doctor told me to get the script from cvs that I never got because they had to order the prescription. I go to get it and cvs tells me I can't get it because I already got the script somewhere else. So I call the doctor to have them send a new one and cvs says it doesn't matter if they get a new script from a MEDICAL DOCTOR, I already got the script from another pharmacy so they refused to fill the script that was prescribed by a MEDICAL. DOCOTOR. FROM. THE. HOSPITAL..... do better cvs!!!!!!!!!!Needless to say I switched pharmacies after this.

As always, CVS is my go to! No matter where I travel in the US, they have longer hours and can easily work with the pharmacy wherever I'm traveling. Good stock, clean store and fantastic employees at both the pharmacy and front end. I've been there customer for decades.

Poor customer service in the pharmacy. Don't use Doordash for your Meds you will be waiting quite sometime if your more than 3 miles away from CVS who only pays 3.25 and no tip on every order I personally would not shop at this over priced store. I have zero tolerance for Ignorant female managers and employees etc.

Today I just got my Flu shot for this year.I went to the Drop-off counter and a very pleasant young man checked me in and told me where to go. The sign above clearly was marked VACCINES. Then a very nice young man gave me the Flu shot. I didn't feel a thing, it was so quick:) I will be definitely going back here to get my Booster when I'm eligible. Everyone is always so pleasant and helpful. I love this CVS. I always get all my shots here, So quick and easy. I come from Belmont only 30 minutes. So Thank you CVS for all that you do. GOD BLESS

3/2: updating and downgrading to 1 star. The reason: I'm tired of the rude and unhelpful attitude that is copped by the pharmacy staff the minute I have a question. New doctor so all my meds were refilled at once and I received a text from the pharmacy saying I had 7 ready. 2 days later I stopped in and the cashier said I have 3 ready for you. I asked her to check again and I read off what is supposed to be ready. She literally acted as if I said nothing, copped an attitude so fast and said I have 3 ready, do you want to pick those up now? I said if that's the case why do I have a text saying 7 are ready? She replied she doesn't know; she's "not in charged of that." I was made to stand in another line only to find out the missing scripts were under a profile and out of state address that I had asked to be closed in 2013. I asked who filled these without matching the scripts to the online profile and I was told she "would have no way of knowing that." I then had to go back and wait in line AGAIN and tell them where to find my scripts. I am SO DONE. I only stayed for drive through convenience but the attitude and the headaches aren't worth it.***********Stopped in there approximately an hour and a half after my Dr appt for a script that was needed right away. Was abruptly told not ready, no explanation and told to come back and not even given a time frame. I refused to come back and explained I need this as soon as possible. After getting an eyeroll from the cashier/pharmacy tech she walked away and yelled back that I would still have to wait. There were many people working behind the counter including 2 pharmacists so I'm not sure why I received such an attitude. After all that I waited 15 minutes for my scripts

Terrible experience. Ruined my whole day. Switching pharmacies . The reviews are true. The drive thru is never open because short staffed ?? such a hassle to come in and wait and stand in a super long line with a little baby with me. I came in and they said my order isn’t ready even though i requested through the app an hour ago. They said be back in 15 minutes. I said okay. I came back an hour later. They told me its been out of stock and wont be able to fill til Monday, if its even there Monday. No call or text to inform me earlier that its not available, even though everything is set up. The shift manager did absolutely nothing about my bad experience but say sucks for you have a good day. I wish we could give 0 stars. I never leave a negative review. This place earned my bad review. Very poor service.

Worst CVS ive been to. Theres an old lady tgat works drive thru who has no clue what shes doing and needs to retire if computers are that difficult for her. They also never inform you of issues with filling scripts so youll drive 30 mins to get told somethings wrong when they shouldve called you for whatevers wrong as soon as it pops up.

This is my 3rd time I called in the same prescription they said it would be ready that day. I have a 45min. Drive to pick it up. When I get there they tell me they have nothing for me. Now doctors office is closed and I have no pills left. Can't wait to find another pharmacy .

Rude terrible workers. Have gone days multiple times without medications due to them being "in progress" for hours if not a day or more. Also hasd an employee try to change my prescription to make it easier on them and then when it couldn't get filled told me I had to get it fixed as it "didn't matter to her if I got my meds". The pharmacy should be shut down! Can you give 0 stars???

I wouldn’t recommend this pharmacy. They are very short and rude. They aren’t competent enough to fill your medications. Basically because they don’t care enough to ask all of the questions needed. I even heard one say, “ Sorry, I just don’t wanna be here.” Because she was messing up an order. I called my medicine in @9 or 10am and show up at 5pm and it’s not ready because they didn’t listen to me when I called.

Worst pharmacy I've ever been to. The first month I had it filled here I recieved a text saying it was ready so I drove 45 mins to pick it up and got there and was told it wasn't ready and I had to wait 3 days before they finally had it. The second month I received the text and got there and was told they forgot to clear the ipledge stuff and I had to wait over an hour for them to have it ready. This month my doctor had to call in the prescription 3 times and I recieved 3 messages saying my prescription would be ready for pick up and when I called the pharmacy to confirm they told me they had no record of it in the system. I've called 3 times in the past 2 days and every time I talked to someone they were extremely rude and had no explanation as to why their system was telling me they were filling my prescription. I had it transfered to a different CVS and they were very helpful and will have everything ready by tomorrow. IF YOU VALUE YOUR TIME DO NOT USE THIS CVS.

So i am new patient to receive my medicine throw CVS. I Call pharmacy to get delivery 4 my meds. Cause CVS says we deliver your meds!!!!!! So i call n 2 set delivery. I guess the rep that pickef up was having bad day!!!! All i asked was " i would like to set u delivery of my meds!!! CVS say they need credit card 2 set it up!!! I reply wow ok y?....condisently cvs say its not like i vall them up n order pizza!!! My apology 4 asking in a harmless way cvs .. He was rude . But honestly i have got my medicine delivered like as simple as ordering pizza !!! What a bad rep n disrespectful rep i hope someone that needs there medication immediately they might die cause of his rudeness

I used to work as a pharmacy technician at this cvs. The reason you have to wait 15 minutes or longer, is because they are filling out script's that came in before yours. There are only so many people to fill the scripts at one time. Also, maybe your script wasn't ready to fill because the Dr hasn't responded to the request to fill it, if it's a refill or you need a new script. Or the insurance is being slow or giving them a hard time. It's crazy busy and stressful, so give them a break.

What a joke. Went there on Friday. They said they were out of stock of the script I needed. The lady said they had to order it. I asked , has it been ordered? Or do you need to order. She said it was ordered but to wait til afternoon Monday to pick up. I called to find out if they received it cuz . I'm not walking there. If it's not in yet . Well waited 16 minutes on hold no answer. I know they have quite a few people in the back working. Not sure why they can't answer a phone. 18 minutes now. And their drive in has been closed. Ughhhh.

Helpful staff but incredibly slow pharmacy service. I expect to wait at least 15 minutes every time I tried to get something filled when I drop it off a new script. Sometimes as long as half an hour.

Stopped in to get my scripts after being in ogh all night and they were still not ready idk whats up with them lately and also when u try to call in be prepared to hold for 40 minutes just to be told your scripts arnt ready yet
