I see a lot of negative reviews here for the 7-Eleven which is unfortunate. I guess people write reviews when they are really angry. This is a 24 hour location so people come at them all hours. Sometimes somebody is having a bad day and they just end up writing a bad review, which is unfortunate. I have nothing to do with management here so when I say it is just like any other 7-Eleven I mean it.

I went to 7/11 to buy an eBay gift card, the barcode for the card is covered and the cashier is the person that takes the cover off to scan the barcode for the card, I gave the employee my card and he said in a pretty loud and rude tone that “he couldn’t scan the card because there was no barcode to scan” so he told me to “look for another one”. Every single card had a cover and that cover is to be removed by the cashier, also the cover for the barcode is very easy to spot and there’s also instructions simply telling cashiers to remove the cover in order to scan the barcode. Also another thing is that when I gave him the card the cashier took it and grabbed the scanner and tried scanning the area where the barcode is but stopped as he saw the cover as it was obviously covering the barcode but instead of removing the cover he handed it back to me and told me to get another card as he “couldn’t scan it because there isn’t a barcode” despite him seeing the area where the barcode is which is blocked off by the cover which he’s suppose to remove. It was also pretty embarrassing as there was actually a line. I went back two days later and I gave the card to a white woman cashier she was really nice and easily took off the cover and scanned the barcode in less than 7 seconds probably. I’ve also noticed that most of the employees are not taught how to scan gift cards as one time I handed a gift card to an employee and the guy didn’t know what to do and he’s standing there flipping the card back and forth checking where the barcode area is, I feel like who ever manages this store should atleast show the cashiers the new ones how to simply scan a gift card as it takes 7 seconds or less to do so

Times like this make me wish there was a 0 star review. This has to be the worst 7/11 in the entire world and hope that either management changes or the store goes under all together. To start, claiming to be 24/7 they close at midnight and don’t open til 6 am regardless of workers being inside they refuse to open. They charge $3 for “reusable” bags which is again the law to charge for bags in the first place and the bags are paper bags used for beer can. They often times overcharge or “accidentally” give you the wrong change. This says a lot as the company is a multi billion $ corporation that the local store will take the pennies where they can to stay in business. I once was refused to cash in my lottery ticket because it was to “late in the day” even though it wasn’t even 2:30pm and I just bought the ticket minutes before. I’ve even overheard one of the “workers” chew out a customer calling them a “Cotton picking ….” I won’t finish the rest but assume everyone knows what they said next. That individual happened to be the owner which I later found out. Terrible business! If you want to go to a 7/11 there are dozens of others in the area! Stay far away from this horrid place!

The worst 7-eleven on Long Island. The coffee is never fresh. The milk fridgerator for coffee has been broken for years. The milks literally sit out in a warm fridge alllll day and night. Not sure how someone hasn’t gotten sick or the health dept hasn’t shut them down yet.Employees are super rude. When they take your money they understand English. When you have a concern, all of the sudden they don’t know English.Terrible. Should be zero stars.

Store not particularly clean and they often don't stock regular straws to use with their fountain soft drinks. They only have Slurpee spoon straws, that are not particularly good for drinking a soft drink given the fact that the bottom of the straw is a spoon.RESPONSE TO 7-11: "It doesn't sound right" you are asking for "more details"? How much more detail do you want? Why don't you go to your store and look at the straws left for customers. Look at the floors that are not clean. Look at the fact that no one is by the register when customers are in the store. Look at all of the other apparent complaints made by other people in their reviews which seem consistent. Perhaps a better person needs to be hired to manage the store?

I'm at the store at 4:45 AM, on a Sunday October 3rd, 2021, and the sign says open, come in; but the door is locked, with no one inside, and a milk crate on the handle.

Definitely and absolutely the rudest cashier of all the 7 elevens ive been to in my entire life. Is usually there on a Friday at about 3:30 - 4pm. Nasty attitude, does not say hello or thank you Gentleman serves the two customers prior to me and then just walks off to move material and clean up and clearly sees me waiting. Wonder what thats all about. 🤔. Ask for my receipt and he walks to the next cash register to serve another customer. He should be reprimanded, retrained, or fired if need be. And if hes the owner, maybe customers should check the broadhollow rd 7 eleven. Way better customer service. Maybe district or corporate offices need to be contacted.

This place is always cluttering up with stock. Most the employees rush you through at the register and always tries to avoid giving you the opportunity to use your 7-Eleven app rewards. Now they have a habit of running out of bags and trying to sell you one for a dollar. Unprofessional staff, the ones I run into during the business day treat you as if they didn't need your business a take or leave attitude. The food is okay and it is clean inside.

Update as of today, 9/11/21.. it's 545am and the doors are locked. Everything is on inside. Like the level of inconvenience is insaneIs anyone doing anything about this?!This store recently posted a change in their hours... The sign stated they will close at midnight. TWO NIGHTS IN A ROW I arrive well before 12am. This evening I arrived at 11:27pm. The door is locked, blocked off by these milk crates and there is a clock on the door saying they will be back at 5am. this is extremely unprofessional of the lazy person working inside and it's super inconvenient. I called the sore and left a message and even knocked on the door hoping the worker would hear me. Listen.... We all want to go home at the end of the night when our shift ends.... But taking it upon yourself to close MORE THAN 30 MINUTES PRIOR TO THE STATED CLOSING TIME IS JUST PLAIN RUDE. 8 cars were there when I drove off wondering why you guys were closed. This employee thinks he or she can lose you business so they can split out at 12:01am. Someone needs to do something about this. 8 cars. If I was the owner/ manager I would be VERY mad about this. I will be sending in a formal complaint on this.

The workers are very rude. The first time I went my co worker and I had our company car and we left the keys on the counter. I forgot it was my key and the worker started laughing at me. Today I went there and my car battery unfortunately died while in the store. I asked the worker if he minded giving me a jump ( I had cables) and he said he didn't feel like moving his car and asked me to leave the store despite buying something. I work very close to this 7-11 but will not return.

This place has got to have the worst customer service ever. They act like their doing you a favor by waiting on you. You have to watch when their ringing you up cause they like to overcharge. This place has definitely gone down hill. Luckily there's other 7-11's around cause this place is done.

What a joke this place is. I really don't have a high standard considering it's just 7/11, but no one says anything to you while ringing you up, and no one will tell you the price. I just spent about $9 on a case of water. I would have put it back if he told me the price originally, because who the hell spends that much on water. He then wouldn't give me a receipt. These people are not friendly, and definitely are shady. I live right across the street and will never come back here again. (This also is not my first incident with them, there is always an issue.)

Clean your coffee station! This 7-11 is disgusting! Sorry but the coffee station is the face of any 7-11 store. Very bad way to represent your business. I live around the corner and rarely go here. If it were clean I'd be here every day.

Bought nachos to eat, than when I went to put cheese it was empty, the guy refused to refill the cheese. What am I supposed to do with nachos and no cheese? It’s almost as if the management purposely chooses the absolute worst employees.

Check your change they give you the wrong change and then fight with you if you confront them. That’s stealing!!! Horrible service and disgusting taking advantage of people. Never will go here again. Rather go to the one a few blocks away!!

TERRIBLE SERVICE. THERE WAS A SHORT PUDGY GUY BEHIND THE COUNTER AT ABOUT 12PM TODAY AND HE TREATED ME LIKE A DOG.I HAS A WINNING TICKET AND IT DID NOT SCAN ON HIS MACHINE OR THE ONE ON THE SIDE OF THE STORE IN FRONT. I ERASED AS MUCH AS ICOULD AND ALSO SCRATCHED OFF THE NUMBERS NEXT TO THE CODE.HE STILL TOLD ME HE WOULD NOT DO IT IN NO UNCERTAIN TERMS.I FOUND THAT ABHORRENT. HE SHOULD BE TERMINATED.I LIVE IN THE BIG COUNTRY POINTE COMPLEX ON OLD COUNTRY ROAD WITH 600 FAMILIES.
