What a great restaurant. Family run restaurant with food that tastes like home. The food was all homemade and so delicious. They serve wines from local vineyards, which i love. I had never had golumpki and it was incredible. The short ribs literally fell off the bone. The carrot came was homeade and super moist. The food was so good we ordered 4 meals to take home. The family was super friendly and really made you feel welcome. We noticed a sign on the way out that said come as friends leave as family and that was exactly how we felt.

My family and I love valentines on the lake. we have been there a few times now and will keep coming back. My wife and I love their polish platter all the different homemade perogies we have tried have been delicious their homemade soaps have been really good. Are kids love their grilled cheese. We like the atmosphere it has a nice small town feel to it. You have to be patient with the service. Everything is homemade and they are a little short handed. But the little wait is so worth going. The waitress is super nice and funny and the owner is really funny. So yes it's a great restaurant that everyone should try and I hope your experience is just as good as ares.

My very dear friend Lisa took me for my “Birthday Celebration” I chose to go to Valentine’s on The Lake. It was my first time eating here. Everything exceeded my expectations. The food, the atmosphere, and the owners Cheryl and John were all wonderful.This place is definitely down to earth and it’s comfy cozy. My kind of place. I definitely recommend that everyone check it out 😊

What a gem in Olcott. Not only was the food homemade goodness, John & Cheryl made us feel welcome and at home. Everything we ate was excellent, the seafood bisque, tomato gnocchi bisque, seafood etouffee, pierogies, coconut cream pie and white chocolate raspberry tart were all delicious! Cant wait to pick up my paczki’s on Tuesday 🤤

I tried this place for the first time and it will not disappoint you. A decent, lake side breakfast place with some amazing options! I was particularly amazed by how the food has been presented. Waffles with strawberries were my favorite. I bet you'll fall in love with the in-house fries! I'd definitely recommend checking this place out if you ever make it to Olcott.

Staff is and has always been amazing.... nothing but props to you all..Service work is terribly difficult.. in my opinion I think every single person that ever frequently goes to a restraunt should have to do no less than 6 months of Customer service/relations to get the full understanding that no matter what you do even if it's perfect there is always gonna be some grumpy man/woman regardless. Keep up the good work, nothing but love for u guys and I have no dog in the race so I have no reason to say this or the opposite.. all love guys God bless all those that work there as well as all the patrons see ya in a few weeks

Today was my first time at this restaurant and it definitely won't be my last!. I was there tonight for my nephews rehearsal dinner and I have to say everything turned out amazing. From the food to the service it was perfect. Everyone there that working was so friendly and helpful. My younger daughter was asking about the Bubble Tea and the waitress must of heard her and brought her over the menu and told her and my son that they could order one!. Then my other daughter showed up later once everything was done and cleaned, but they asked her what she wanted and made her a hot plate of food!.. I honestly can't say enough about this place! If you have no been here please do yourself a favor and go you won't be disappointed!!

A cozy, simple restaurant with a lot of home cooked specialties, including the best pirogis I've ever had. Very good homemade soups too. What amazed me was going in recently and seeing ribeye steak on the menu. I had to give that a try. Wow. Cooked medium-rare to perfection, and it was tender, juicy, with no gristle and very little fat (ribeyes always have some fat). The price of the steak dinner was low enough that I thought it was a mistake on the specials menu.If you're expecting some t.v. chef flagship restaurant with a wandering violinist, linen tablecloths, and a wine steward, don't bother, you won't be happy. Leave this restaurant to people who can appreciate a nice couple trying to serve very good food to folks at a very reasonable price.

Visiting Youngstown from WV with my girlfriend. Ordered the Polish Platter with potato cheddar pierogi and Golumpki soup. She ordered the Shrimp quesadilla with fries and the Golumpki soup as well. We absolutely loved the soup, it was amazing. We both loved our entrees as well. The handmade pierogis were fantastic as well as the lazy pierogi, my favorite part of the meal was the sausage. My girlfriend loved her meal as well. We had a fantastic conversation with the owners and they even gave us some homemade cookies. Such an awesome little place with deep roots. Would absolutely come here again if ever in the area, 100% recommend.

Once in a lifetime experience! Went to this place because a friend recommended it. Arrived there at 5:20 pm. Got seated at 5:40. Ordered food at 5:50. Left without being served food at 7:45. No that is not a typo! I paid for the beer and soup that we were served plus tip. When I finally went in to say we are leaving, it was obvious they had not even started making our dinner. They didn’t even tell us they were going to be so slow. Did I mention we had a five and a one year old with us? Have the decency to close when you cannot serve food.

I was at this restaurant during the car show on Saturday, what a warm welcome when you dine at this restaurant.They treat you like you're a family member coming over for dinner.This place is family run by mother, daughter and husband.My son and I had a great time and the next time we're in Town this is a Stop for us."Try the ginger honey wine (Mead) and the Polish beer" are Awesome

I can’t believe this was our first time there! The food was amazing! The hand cut fries are so good! The goulash is “just like mom made”! Cute little place with very friendly owners. We brought dessert home and I can’t wait to try it! The next time we will have to try breakfast! It looks amazing! Definitely the place to go when you are looking for some great food!

The food was amazing! I had the Polish Platter with the soup. It was so tasty and would highly recommend it. The owner was so friendly and accomodating and even gave me a sample of wine. They have a large patio facing the lake and I can't wait to go back in the summer to experience that patio, the amazing food, the friendly staff, festive margaritas and a sunset- a recipe for the perfect night

This place has a beautiful charm and most of that is attributed to the owner, servers and the gorgeous view from the outside seating area of the nearby water. It was a very warm Friday night and we were greeted by Tara and her lovely daughter who provided an extra welcome service, which let’s be honest is rare in our society these days! When you are made to feel apart of something by way of conversation or service it elevates the whole experience. This may be a bias opinion since my mothers family is Polish but being down to earth and responsive to your customers needs is always a welcomed addition to your evening. We mostly had drinks, but the Polish dishes were very authentic and we are excited to come back for winter warming meals which let’s face it being Polski is where it’s at lol. Thank you everyone!

From the second we walked in, we felt welcomed and just like we were family.Came in for a late Sunday morning breakfast and ordered the birdies in a nest and the mimosa. Both wonderful and delicious.Chatted with our table neighbors and loved the feeling of this quaint little restaurant in the off season!Highly recommend and will definitely return when we find ourselves in the area again.Hospitality was phenomenal!
