I prefer to go here over their competitor - Walmart. They offer fresh produce, and have friendly and helpful staff. They have a decent enough variety of things where I can find 80% of what I need (which is great considering I can find almost none of what I need for food at their competitor).

I love this place when in the USA . If you want an awesome donut, this is the place to go. But go early as they seem to sell out fast. Highly recommend the chocolate dipped donut. Unbelievable fresh and done in store.

Price Chopper is the market up here in NNY. They have most things that one needs to have summer fun with a large selection of meats, chicken, and seafood. Great produce also, and their deli/prepared food section has seen many positive upgrades.

Reasonably decent. Still lots of "holes" in the shelves stocking, but still the best selection in the Potsdam-Canton area (which is not saying a heck of a lot). The best Price Chopper stores in the area are those in Ogdensburg and Massena but the Potsdam and Canton PC stores have a ways to go to get to be that good. However, kudos to their workers who are good at calling staff to the registers when lines start to form.

Nice upgrade! Clean and shiny isles!!! Some great deals and some not so great deals but all in all a great place to shop for groceries on the go or run into a few friends! Staff are courteous and helpful. Customer wait is usually quick and easy!

Nice selection of food. Store and bathrooms were clean. Some of the produce was small but it tasted good. Meats were trimmed well. Make sure you have a savings card or ask to use the store card, it saved me over 40%. Sales were good. Prices were good, some things were cheaper while others more expensive than other super markets.

Maybe I have shopped on off days. I have had to return produce on more than one occasion. But the staff is great about returns. Sales always offer a substantial savings, even beating the dollar store, especially if you have a large family. Don't forget the price chopper card for the gas discount.Now they offer points rather than just the gas discount. Not as generous.Prices are higher but still the best option for brand name products

Nice selection of craft beers. Update 5/21- selection is still reasonable but regional brews are fighting for shelf space. 2/23- Everything now costs twice as much, you have to buy or bring your own bags which you also have to pack yourself. And they call this progress

You need to fix your sale items. In ogdensburg Ny price chopper u have buy 1 get 1 free for English muffins. If it's only certain kind why so you have the Tag infront of every 1. Bad enough price chopper is twice as much as any other store now your falsely having sale items.

Good selection but prices are higher compared to other local stores. Prices are even higher than other Price Chopper stores within the local area.

It's a little similar to Wegmans. But most of their things are one to five dollars expensive. They do have varieties in their seafood sections. Their vegetables are good. If you don't mind the prices, they do have little bit of everything.

On 7/31/22 at 11:48 I went through self checkout with a 6 back of beverages. Apparently I needed help from the attendant. She came over and I checked out. When I walked out after paying attendant gets in my face and aggressively says "YOUR WELCOME" idk don't know why but apparently she was angry with life. I responded with.. "Your welcome for me paying your paycheck? Customer service is terrible here I won't be back.

One of the door is locked shut everytime I go . Definitely safety hazard. Post COVID place is horrible. 9:20pm and no cashier. One person to stare at me while I check myself out. Self checkout would not accept three separate advantage cards. Wouldn't recognize them. Place is way over priced to have nobody to check me out. Aldi's is definitely much better, they always have a cashier. Price chopper has lost its 24hour advantage. This is an updated review. 3 years ago it was 5 stars.

I enjoy the upbeat feel of this store. The deli and hot case are well stocked and have a good variety. They always put a baked good or two by the entrance to entice you. If your lucky, it'll be BOGO so it's even more enticing. They seem well stared so you don't have to wait long to check out. It's a nice place to shop.

This location is way too expensive for being in Ogdensburg. I also bought a loaf of bread from the bakery section and it was completely raw in the middle. I took out the raw sections and was able to squish it back into dough because that's how uncooked it was. I could have baked it into bread but I was too irritated and disappointed at wasting money on a raw loaf of bread.

I am totally surprised that Price Chopper does not give Senior Discounts.After all the money we have spent over the years, we are half or better there business.Please reconsider and give Senior Discounts.

I've tried hard to give this place a good review but year after year I can not see a change for the better. I'm lower it again due to the Total lack of upkeep on this place. There has been an entry door thats been broken for OVER 2 weeks. and I'm not even going to get started with the Expired shelf BS.

Produce quality is wanting but it's better than the other choices of larger non-Walmart groceries in the area. The prices are average to high but they run some great specials/sales if you look at the circular. The check out process could use a serious over haul. When you're used to the efficiency of Wegmans check out the Price Chopper cashiers are not even close in speed or bagging logic even when they have a bagger to assist. I use the self check out when available so that my cleaners/non food items aren't bagged with food.

Friendly staff, clean place, shelves orderly and when I worked nights for many years the 24/7 hours was wonderful to have. Plenty of routinely stocked items that were once hard to locate in the North Country before the store arrived.

Melissa in the Deli department is so nice and friendly. My husband and I live in Canton, but from now on I think we are going to travel here to get our deli meat. She deserves a raise! Good job, keep up the hard work. Its workers like you that makes the world a much better place.

1. Full Circle Organic No Stir Peanut Butter is no longer "no stir." My last 3 jars had 1/4 in of oil at the top. 2. Was shocked during a recent visit to the Potsdam PC how much more off a variety of items than the O'burg store. When I'm in Potsdam, that's my store, otherwise my go to for price, variety and quality is Aldis.

Not happy . I went and spent 150 in food . When I was leaving the girl that cashed me out yelled to me as I was leaving that I didn't pay for my food. I said yes I did I used my debit. She said the transaction had not finished . I do believe this could have been handled much better . I will no longer go to your store . I bought my groceries there evey week but no longer will.

The customer service was RUDE and at one point even ignorant. By three different employees at that. Shelves were bare and the floral department was upsetting. Flowers dying and not being taken care of. They didn't clean the registers after each use. They didn't enforce sovial distancing...But they did have mask on.

Not a good time for me to respond because usually I enjoy shopping at Price Chopper. I waited for 10 minutes with three other people for someone to notice us at the hot food counter and then when I turned around to leave there were four more people also waiting. I was surprised that the people at the deli counter next to it had no customers and sauce all standing there and nobody moved to get us some assistance. But I guess what really took me off the most was when I mentioned the situation to a cashier. She told me I shouldn't plan on doing my shopping when I didn't have time to wait. I never said anything about not having time to wait I had all kinds of time. And I will make sure my friend,the regional manager is aware.

The girls that helped me tonight with my groceries upon checking out were very helpful more than they will ever know ! This was only my second time to the grocery store since covid started ( 7months) so I had quiet the haul !!! They were just what I needed only wish I could have brought them home w me to put them away lol ! They made my night! Thank you!

Food prices are too high here. Rather go to Aldi or save a lot. Plus saw a item on sale go pay for it it was double the price on sale. Worker went back to see if I was telling them the truth. Said nope there is no sale. Good thing I took a picture of the price. Stop lying to your customers.

Great store except I hate their self check outs .....personally I use self checkout to not deal with ppl and their ppl always insist on helping, giving their two cents and honestly are always rude! They actually insist I pay and add charges for bags when entering covers them for me bc they insist that the system is doing something wrong...they make me hate going there
