During our visit to Watkins Glen, we had the pleasure of stopping by this delightful creamery. The selection of milk, ice cream, and bread we tried was exceptional, each item bursting with freshness and flavor. Not only were the products top-notch, but the view from the shop added a special touch to our experience, enhancing the enjoyment of our treats. We were also intrigued by the variety of cheese and cheese curds on offer and are eagerly looking forward to trying those on our next visit. It’s heartening to support a local business that delivers quality with such passion. A visit to this creamery is undoubtedly worth it for anyone in the Watkins Glen area

A little over a year ago, my wife and I visited Sunset View Creamery and had the best experience ever. The shop was full of really great products. I wish I could go back and sift through those fridges full of delicious cheeses. The best part was that they had a self guided tour and you could walk the grounds and see the animals. 10/10 would recommend.

Our favorite place while visiting the finger lakes! Not only did we get to cuddle with the most adorable cows, we purchased some of the best cheese we’ve ever had! Highly recommend the smoked Gouda. 🧀🐮

An amazing day meeting Jess, the puppies and the cows. Enjoyed the Interesting story of the farm and creamery, loved snuggling with the cows and playing fetch w Ebb! The cows were so gently and the babies were playful and feisty. My faves were Beanie who ate my hair and Charlie and Lilac who were so fun with their licking and nudging to be pet. Also- I have terrible allergies to so many animals and nothing to the cows. Not even a sniffle. New pup Merle is adorable too. Enjoyed seeing some of the equipment and learning about the process of milking and making cheese. Bought some yummy ice cream and cheese that I can’t wait to enjoy. Everyone should visit! Easy to see that the animals are loves and cared for.

This is a fantastic farm and delicious yummy cheese! I especially loved the new smoked Gouda they created! You can go in abd try there cheeses before buying. The calf’s were so adorable. Opal was just a few days old when we met her. Adorable! They have a Farmers Market on Thursday from 4-7 pm. If you are in the Watkins Glen area you have to stop by this Multi-Generation farm. Lovely people lovely animals and very good cheese and dairy! I highly recommend this place!! Check them out!

Had a great experience at Sunset View Creamery last week. Enjoyed walking around to see all the animals and the store on site was great. Lots of homemade items including several varieties of cheese.Would definitely recommend stopping in when in the Fingerlakes area.

Fun stop for our group, Huckleberry, the dog, greeted us warmly. Took the tour and petted the calves. Cheese was delicious, creamery store very nice!

I had such a wonderful experience at this farm! Nicole let us sample their delicious cheeses before recommending we pop outside to view the spectacular farm. As an animal lover, I fell in love with their beautiful cows and goats. All the animals (and staff) were so friendly. We will definitely be returning next time we’re in the area!

Fabulous creamery with fantastic cheese tasting. My favorite was smoked havarti cheese. Picked up a cheese sampler for upcoming party and another sampler as a gift for in-laws. They will appreciate better than flowers or matching sweaters. Also found some tea and jams made locally in area. Friendly folks running the place. Sunset View Creamery is yum!

Highly recommend visiting sunset view creamery . Jess ( the owner) provided awesome experience of showing how a working dairy farm operates . My boyfriend and I had a very eye opening experience. It was only 2 of us on the farm the day we visited , we got to cuddle with cows and do the milking experience. Cows are free roaming in barn and on pasture within property limits . Got to hang out with farm dogs and goats. Had delicious cheese tasting and learned how cheese was made . Brings a homey vibe, it’s a hidden gem outside of Odessa .*Bonus : we got to see a calf being born .

What a great little gem, tucked away in the countryside of Odessa! We were warmly greeted by Cicily, who was very knowledgeable on the product and guided us through our tasting. Every cheese was absolutely delicious! We took many varieties home, some which were included in a cheese pairing class I hosted.Their quaint market offers a variety of artisan and local product, as well as some of my favorites…Bespoke Apothecary, Top Seedz and Orr Family Farms!We will visit again!~Amazing Graze 607

My husband and I had a wonderful time talking to Mr. and Mrs. Hoffman and their granddaughter, Taryn. The artifical cheeses were delicious!! Cow cuddling is available, too! We highly recommend stopping in.

Our stop at Sunset View Creamery was AWESOME! We did the self guided tour and got the chance to pet some of the calves and young heifers, they were so cute and friendly! Don’t forget to stop at the store for free cheese samples. Ended up buying many blocks of delicious cheese, made right there at the farm. This place is a nice, quick 1 hour stop if you’re visiting the Watkins Glen/Finger Lakes area.

15$ a person for 30 minutes of cow cuddling which you can reserve online but there are some calfs you can see for free along with some sweet dogs . The cheese tasting is a must and difficult to go home without some !

What a sweet experience!! My family and I had a lovely time at Sunset View Creamery. We arrived unannounced shortly after they opened, and a nice woman in the store informed us that we were welcome to visit the cows and goats at our leisure. It was such a great experience, the cows were so cute and clearly well cared for. After interacting with the cows for a while we went back to the store to load up on local milk, cheeses, meats, and ice cream. Completely would recommend, very nice low key experience.

We enjoyed our visit to the creamery! The cheeses are delicious and there are plenty of pairing options in the store. We also loved the tour of the farm, especially meeting the new calf. We felt welcomed throughout the visit.

This is a great place to visit, explore and shop. Our kids loved the cow cuddling, Jess and Jeremy went ABOVE & Beyond to make our visit memorable. The shop in the farm was full of high quality, small batch food items. We will definitely be back again!!

We loved our time at Sunset View. We did the general tour of the farm and it was great! Jess shared lively and entertaining stories about farm life and living life on a farm! It's clear Jess has a passion for her farm and her animals and is gifted in sharing that with others. She is intelligent, dedicated, and responsible as well as friendly and fun!We all shopped for some freshly made cheese in their shop.Can't wait to come back for some cow cuddling!

This is my hometown area and the farm represents all the values I grew up with. I'm sure somewhere along the line I went to school with some of the family members going back to the 70's. Great cheese curds and I now have 10 packages in my refrigerator in North Carolina. Wonderful visit.

This was such a wonderful experience! The young lady that was with us with the cows, Julia, was so sweet and told us all about the cows and how the farm runs. The cows were incredibly sweet! The cheese taste testing was DELICIOUS! The staff were warm and inviting. I was even greeted by Huckleberry, one of the resident dogs the minute I opened my car door. He was also so gentle and sweet. I highly recommend hugging a cow at Sunset View Creamery!

As a homeschooling mom, I love places like this that have a hands-on aspect for my daughter! She loved the cows and seeing how they are cared for and all the work that goes into running the farm, as well as seeing how the work pays off.Very informative and helpful people! The shop has a lot of varieties of delicious cheeses, some meat, as well as neat items from local businesses.

They have some of the most delicious and unique flavored cheeses that I’ve ever tasted. The aged cheddar has a peppery but extremely smooth taste. Used in scrambled eggs this morning and they were flavorful beyond belief. The Parmesan/Swiss heritage was nutty and brought out wonderful flavors in our zucchini pasta.Their Smokey Munster cheese was like no other Munster that I’ve ever tasted. You should not miss this stop. Oh, did I mention their outstanding ice creams that are delicious but not overly sweet.
