I’m going to give this store a try .I was here once and the store was well stocked and the frozen food was pretty large and the staff was very friendly and helpful with my purchase there.

I've repeatedly had issues with the Pharmacy department at the Oakland Gardens location on Springfield Boulevard.1. They closed the pharmacy before the scheduled close time. My doctor prescribed medication for pickup at the store, but when I went there it was closed earlier than expected.2. The staff made me wait and the medication took over 40 minutes to get, and I had to chase them before they even started working on it.3. While getting vaccination they seem to dilly dally and waste your time waiting, despite we had an appointment.I've had better experience with CVS at Northern and Bell Boulevard and will take my business to CVS going forward.

It's always a long wait. Last time I was here to pick up Paxlovid, it took them 40 min to prepare it. My doctor had already called. So I was sick and had to wait that long. This time I was picking a maintenance med, I waited 2 weeks to come and still it took them 20 min. Service is so slow and mind you, the customers can be sick and tired. Much prefer a family pharmacy than these chain stores.

Shout out to the manager/supervisor-looking gentleman working here who really knows how to resolve problems correctly and quickly. One time, I didn’t get the physical receipt from the beer purchased. I had to get it for the mail-in rebate. Cashier girl didn’t know how to deal with the situation at all. This gentleman came up and solve the problem smoothly. Another time when all-service line was long, he quickly opened a line for fedex-dropoffs, and those customers were taken care of in literally dozens of seconds. He def deserves and a raise and applause.

they scanned something and i changed my mind and told her to take it out. when i got the receipt and looked at it at home i found out that she didn’t take it off and still charged me for it even though i didn’t take the item.

The only reason I am giving this store one star is because management refuses to pur the air conditioning on during this heatwave we are having this summer. I can barely stand in the heat waiting for my prescriptions at the pharmacy but the other shopping I need to do at this Walgreen's is out of the question. I will shop anywhere else if they have the courtesy to think of their customers. If they think they're saving money by not using their air conditioning they're wrong,people are shopping elsewhere.

I’ve been going to this Walgreens for years on a regular basis and it’s been a breeze until today. I went in to use their FedEx service so I made the long line and once I got to the cashier she didn’t know how to print out the label (I found this common, plus she was an older woman) I just asked her to get someone to help and she did. She got the manager (young middle eastern looking female) and her reply was “tell her to wait”. I addressed her and explained that I had the same exact service performed a few days before and it was done at the register she said that there’s only two ways to print out the label and that wasn’t one of them to just wait for the female who was printing the pictures. I also asked the new manager if going forward I should just come to the photo/shipping area and her reply was “no, you still have to make the line”. I was helped by someone and trying to explain to the employee that was printing for me that I was going to find out how the other person printed the label and I would let them know because sometimes when you’re a new employee (anywhere)you don’t know it all (I was genuinely trying to help) but she wasn’t trying to hear it she stuck to the story about the label not being able to be printed that way as if I was crazy. I’m worried about the picture that was taken, used as a label because the letters were microscopic and I’m afraid the FedEx personnel won’t be able to read it and the package won’t be received. I brought it to her attention she said it was fine. All of this is so unnecessary and situations like this is one of the reasons people shop online or stop supporting a business. A manager should have customer service skills, be empathic towards their clients, be accommodating, have problem solving skills not just have a degree. Not to mention they all started talking negatively about me, they didn’t realize I was at the register “she said she was here to stay” something about change smh. I’ll try my best not frequent so full of herself.

I transferred my prescriptions here because it is 2 blocks away from my house. They have never not messed up my scripts. Only giving me partial filled prescriptions but charging me full price. Giving me the wrong dosage etc. Twice they left me standing at the counter for over 10 minutes to take a delivery. Twice the older woman at the pharmacy register was completely lost at her job to the point that I had to just walk away and try to get my needed medication when she wasn't there. The cashier's at the pharmacy are rude and untrained. Then there's the high school kids running through like an angry mob.. I will not go back to this store. I would rather drive out of the way to another pharmacy than deal with this awful place. Get it together..

The store is ok. Sometimes sale items are out of stock. The general cashiers are friendly. The pharmacy is another story... it's just terrible. The line takes forever. It doesn't matter what time you arrive, early morning, afternoon, evening... it will be at least 15 minutes of waiting on line. Then when it's finally you turn there will be an issue. Despite receiving a text message that my prescription was ready it was not. Another time they only filled 15 pills out of 60 pills prescribed. The associated (older with accent) is RUDE! She actually said what do u want me to do about it. Another associate. Linda is polite and really tries to help but there's only so much she can do. It's just ridiculous. I started to send my prescriptions to the mom and pop pharmacy across the street and it's been a totally different experience! In and out, no issues...

changed the rating from 4 to negative if possible.I started early this year, my insurance dropped caremark so I have to switch to a local pharmacy nearby. Walgreen is the only choice. Every time I tried to refill my medicine, the medicines are not available.The availability is a huge problem here now (it was ok before for many many years).In my experience for the past year, they are running out of cash flow!!! My medicines are the most common ones.

Do not schedule your COVID vaccine shot for this location. I had a 7PM appointment for my daughter and arrived 15 minutes early as suggested. It is not 7:30 and we still have not checked in. The worker literally takes over 15 minutes per customer. My local Walgreens literally got me registered and in and out much faster. If you see an older woman with glasses registering you, good luck.

Very understaffed. Had to wait on line for 25 minutes. Saw other customers leave their stuff and barge out of store because the line was too long.. This happens quite often whenever I visit. And not even a single apology from staff members and no IC3. Corporate needs to hire more or give more hours at this particular store. Never experienced this in other Walgreens.

Please sell the business, let someone else run the place, was a good place, for every new face since the change to walgreens is a step in the wrong direction, employees wonder the aisles while the checkout backups, hate this since is place location is so convenient, just get blank faces when you ask for additional cashiers, leadership, please please stand up and turn this around

This is a very nice RiteAid except for one very rude employee. She is a short, stout, overweight, graying, unkempt, disheveled, dirty, unwashed, messy, sloppy looking, much older Caucasian woman who hates any customer who has a question, or needs to return or exchange their items, with or without a receipt. She works mostly in the photo department. The manager, who is very nice and happy to assist, will help you, and the other workers will gladly help you, but she will glare at you, give you dirty looks, not help you, and even talk about you, right in your presence, very loudly and criticize your purchases. Her behavior is tacky, rude, crass, low-class, and completely unprofessional. If she can’t control her loud obnoxious mouth and censor her “opinionated comments”, especially at a customer service job, then she needs to stay at home and never come back to work again.

Just came back from late night shopping. I am surprised to see that the employees do not greet and attend a regular customer. They were just talking to each other. An Asian male employee took me by the register and said nothing. There were not even a "welcome" "hello" or "have a nice day". This is a simple and basic part of customer service. As a customer, I felt completely disregarded. Gave +1 star for an employee who greeted me with a smile by the entrance/exit as I was about to leave. Hope the other employees get well-trained on greeting customers.

The worst pharmacy ever! Never have a come and had a prescription ready- despite getting an automated call that it was. Pharmacy is extremely understaffed and take forever to pick up Horrible customer service all around and they are never apologetic.

Website clearly states your open to midnight. At 10:57 it was completely dark. Shutter down and no access. Fraud I Day. Another big business doing bad business. What? Couldn’t afford an IT person to make updates. This is s pedestrian community and limited access to needs. Fraud!

24hr store, pharmacy has specific hours but the store is always open which is nice. Staff is friendly and always willing to help. Clean place with a variety of items , groceries and other little things you may need at whatever hour.

This is probably the slowest Walgreens I’ve ever been too and all of them are pretty slow…. I only choose this pharmacy Because it was close to where I was at the time… big mistake
