I always knew the store was there, but could never figure out how to get in, lol. I figured it out and I was pleasantly surprised. Large store, very clean and organized, the aisles are wide and uncluttered, and well stocked shelves despite them not having the item I came there for. I will probably shop there more often now.

Key foods is very close, so convenience is what's best for us. Food selection is okay, but as much as in a big supermarket, but for a neighborhood it's great. Staff is nice and helpful.

This Key Food store has gotten worse and worse in the past year. Price gouging, expired products, rotten fruits and vegetables. Senior citizens who don't drive are held hostage to their overpriced, poor quality and lack of selection of products.I will say that I find the staff very nice and helpful. I hate the self-checkout machines.They are not very user-friendly. I prefer a cashier.

This store is so clean! Nice variety! Meat and produce are amazing, you can get small packages, only negative is that it's a bit pricey!

Okay supermarket with average to higher than average prices. It's clean and decently stocked. Occasionally, there's horrible service.One time, I brought my item to the cashier to pay. Upon noticing me, she immediately turned away to begin socializing with her colleague, completely ignoring me. There was no one else on the line. After my initial surprise, I walked away to the self checkout but it wasn't available. I returned to that cashier and she did the exact same thing!Because I was in a rush, I couldn't make a complaint then until the following week. A manager wasn't available but a staff member said to return the following day for him. I did, but he still wasn't available. She said she would notify him of the incident. I suggested they look at their video footage of the incident but they said they didn't have any.This incident happened a few months ago. The cashier who refused to provide me service is still working there. Needless to say, I avoid her cashier aisle every time.

With everything being so over priced in all Supermarkets it's hard to really provide the pros and cons. I've purchased their meats which are better then most places I visited. Fresh Vegetables are great. I don't live in area so I grab things based on what I need to have at work and the little essentials I do purchase works out.

Terrible service on self-check out, the elder staff was rude, impatient, treated me like I worked there, commanding tone , ok well I was a customer , just unfamiliar this machine……

I've been going to Key Food for so many years, my mother does her shopping and I do mine once in a while but past few years Key food has been downsizing with less cashiers and more u-scans now. But overall, quick and convenient and not as busy as it once was.

Chicken is $8/lb. Produce is often browning and if you look in the Goya aisle, there are several packages that have clearly been bitten into by rodents. This was not a one time experience.

If I can give no star at all, I will. This supermarket are over priced. They take advantage of all the elderly and shoppers who lived in the neighborhoods for merely convenience. For example, Sara Lee wheat bread cost $4.19 Stop & Shop by my wife's job cost $3 and change. The excuse Key Food used due to their renovation and inflation the price went up. Let's hope for the best for a speedy recovery in our economy.

It's a decent local market with the basics in food staples. I don't go there for fresh fruits or vegetables and you always have to read the expiration dates. I have bought items after the expiration date in the past.

This is my local supermarket. The quality of the fruit and vegetables is pretty good but the organic section is poorly supplied. There is a nice deli but a small bakery area with no reasonably priced cakes. The meat section is rather small but well marked as to specials and sales.Overall the store is clean and well run and when they have florals, they have the best potted seasonal plants.

Very good neighborhood supermarket where I often shop for my weekly needs. It's small as opposed to size of typical supermarkets these days but they get by with fewer brands and choices to go with a full variety of items to fulfill your needs. Food is fresh rarely close to expiration date which is great. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable but prices are on high end which fits the neighborhood.

Could be cleaner. Sometimes smell comes from where the sushi is.But it is not the fish.Prices are very high even with inflation. Can use more sales.Security may be needed after a elderly lady was robbed in the parking lot and left in critical condition.

Worst experience ever, made me paid the former client bill !!! I have Finished check out and went out for parking and took a quick look for the receipt then realized something wrong, why only few things charged me about $120 bucks? my staff only about $20-$30 bucks. Come back to let them figure it out, the point I really upset are cashier and supervisor did not express any sorry about this issues during the whole process. Just let me waiting there and no explanation what’s going on ,how to figure it out, also no apologies …… never ever step into this place again!!!!!!!!

Constantly getting home finding things damaged or expired, unfriendly staff, poor selection. Avoid like the plague unless it's your only option like mine.Also don't expect 'mask required' to mean anything, I see employees not wearing them and loudly and openly talking near customers about not wearing them, it's really disgusting.

I honestly don't shop here, not because I dislike it, just because it's out of the way. I honestly just come to use their canning machines out back because they work better than the other key foods on Springfield and Horace Harding. These ones don't have those metal doors that block your next deposit. The only downside is there's only 1 of each type of recepticle.

Store is small & choices are limited compared to other area markets. I went in for spices & ingredients for cake, frosting, & candles. I spent from a few cents up to over a dollar more per item than other stores.On the other hand, the shopping center in which the store is located is in a residential neighborhood, very convenient to the residents, & with a large, free parking lot. The staff is friendly & helpful &, while the store does appear to have been there for quite a while, it is clean & well-kept

Very hard to find anything good and affordable to eat. Prices are hard to find and one has to stand in front of the vegetable section trying to find the name and price for minutes before coming across it. The signs are not directly above where the vegetables are placed in the display area. The vegetables are not very fresh and the selection is limited. The meat and poultry section do have a decent selection but if you want anything grass fed or organic you will pay through the roof. A small little Bell and Evans chicken was $20. Will not be returning. Only plus was that it was not crowded on a Sunday evening.

Place is clean and generally well stocked. Place is expensive although sale items are OK but you need to look. Don't hesitate to ask for a rain check if you can't find the sale item.Good luck returning any bottles here. The plastic bottle machine is always full or in use by people with large garbage bags full of bottles.

My elderly mother was at the checkout with two exact pan sets that were marked 2 for 1.00. The cashier charges her 1.00 for one set and 2.99 for the other. My mom points it out and the cashier becomes loud and rude with my mom telling her she’s wrong when the manager comes over. She explains to the manager who again tells my mom she’s wrong and my mom asks if the manager could go get a set of pans that is the sale price. The manager replies “I don’t have to do that it’s not my job.” My mom proceeds to show her the sticker on both pans is the same and she finally gives it to her.I was appalled at the rudeness to someone who is elderly and bad attitude of people who are supposed to be in customer service. Prices in the store are inflated and it was empty.

I've been shopping at this store close to twenty years. This past year I avoid going there because it has changed so much. Ever since the management changed it is terrible. You don't find the items you are looking for, the shelves are poorly stocked, and customer service is lousy. For example, I asked a store manager the price of an item that wasn't marked and he just looked at me, shrugged his shoulders and said "I don't know" I rate it no stars, I had to rate one star otherwise I couldn't post my comment. No stars.....

Out of stock items on the first day of the sale week, mispriced items, unmarked items and normally one to two of the four self-serve registers out of order. And this not just my last visit, but the regular norm. On the plus side it has a convenient location and parking.

Not. Good. I was pulled off check out line by one of the employees. She told me it would be quicker on the self-service checkout line. It took me twice as long with her help. She had to rescan my items twice and then she had trouble with the credit card machine. Never get off of Regular line.

Overall, this Key Food was mediocre. The new renovations are appealing. There are usually friendly seniors shopping for their goods. The employees seem to be slacking around, and I wish they were more interactive with their customers.I bought some fruits, and while I was checking their produce, their many that were over ripened. Prices are also expensive.

Not the best store. They run out of popular items and its not unusual for them to have out of date merchandise. The exception is their fresh meat and produce which is usually really well maintained. The front end staff is helpful but most of the management seem to have more important things to do than assist customers

The staff are very friendly they are willing to help you anyway they can the food is fresh the deli counter associates are very professional and if a price was different than the price that was marked they will make the adjustment without any hesitation That's what I call great customer service

I find the renovations to be excellent, with products arranged logically and neatly. The store is clean and maintained well. The staff is professional, friendly and very helpful, and contrary to another reviewer, I've never seen them slacking off. On the contrary; they seem to work hard. I've never asked a question or tried to find a product without getting an answer; if the person I've asked doesn't know, they'll find someone who does. The prices are more or less in line with other stores in the area, as far as I can tell. The specials and reduced prices are real; they don't raise the price to then put it on sale. In short, this is the supermarket that I shop at primarily, even though it's farther away from my home than another Key Food and one of a different supermarket chain.
