Very weird vibes at this LiDL iykwim, here I am checking out on register 8 at 5:48pm with one of the rudest cashiers ever. Why is he ignoring me when I greet him and being so condescending when I ask where bags are? Then sarcastically talking about how some people aren’t born with any common courtesy after I bagged my 40 items? Then saying how he doesn’t want to move too fast for me and announcing my use of an EBT? I don’t shop here often but every time I do I remember why I don’t.

I would give this location zero star not even one. I forgot to scan my lidl app I did the payment first the guy told me he should scan it before but he didn’t remind me as all the worker did in other locations. He said nothing you could save with the app.He called me stupid in a lower voice He thought I didn’t hear him. I asked another employee Was nice lady she said you could save with the fruit so she did return those fruit and get me four dollars discount .It was my first time in this location I never come back

As I was publicly shamed at my favorite local supermarket, I was baffled with the customer service when I tried purchasing one onion. Not only was I disrespected about my intelegence but I was also accused of taking it out of the bag. I had no idea what to do in this pressuring moment. I had to walk shamefully out of the store and not only was I embaressed but I did not get the onion for mothers sheperads pie. 💔

Great selection of meats and seafood. Prices are very reasonable. If they only had diet cherry Pepsi I would have no need to go to Stop and Shop.

Lidl runs my favorite "Unknown Pricing" scam. It almost always means that you buy something at a higher price than expected. For example; go to the smoked fish refrigerated area. There are a bunch of various smoked fish packs. There are a bunch of price labels with descriptions on the edge of the case. The refrigerated case label descriptors are different from the package labels. There is a little number on the case labels. This number is never on the food packages. So you pick the one that you think is the price you want. When you get to the register it's almost always a higher price. Most people just take it at that point. This scam is very lucrative for the company.

I am familiar with this store from traveling in Europe. Cold cuts and cheese (some exotic kind of cheese), grains and pastas, frozen food, deserts, some closing and house hold goods, overall like a regular supermarket but with many European products at a great price however New York store has so much less selection of everything, but it is still good.

I routinely shop here as I live super close by. Overall it's definitely the best Lidl store I have gone to in Suffolk County (The East Northport store is a disaster). The staff is friendly, the store is neat & clean, and most importantly everything is spread out (unlike a few other Lidl's in the area).One of the issues I have with this store is that certain things are actually MORE EXPENSIVE than a regular supermarket (like Shoprite and Stop&Shop). Their produce is not cheap, especially their berries and cut fruit. I also do wish that their produce lasted longer. Countless times I have seen gross soggy bags of salad on the shelves that have gone bad way before their expiration dates. Their store brand paper towels are also grossly overpriced, even more so than Bounty.

Today was my first time in your store. I have been looking for days for "international delight pumpkin pie spice" creamer. I was checking out thinking you didn't have it, I brought it up to your cashier "Krissy" and she led me directly to it! Thank God for her! If she didn't help me find my creamer I would have had to travel to 3 more different stores. She saved me so much time. I'm so grateful you have such knowledgeable employees. And you have boxes of my creamer which I never thought I'd find so I will definitely be returning as a customer. I am now going to do all my shopping at your store. Great employee! Great store! Kind staff, I'm disabled and nobody rushed me. Their regular prices were comparable to stop & shop's sale prices. Not a one stop shop, but great for produce. Bought some bulbs and can't want to plant them. I'm vegan so I can't vouch for the other departments. Their store was clean, the electrical cart was charged (but there's only one). Download the app before you go, I didn't know there was a rewards and sales app until I was leaving the store, which sucked because I spend at least $70 per food run. The vegan croissants are amazing. Great dreads in the frozen section. All around good experience.

This place seems to be these only reasonably priced grocery store in the area these days. There are other places with low prices, but the quality of food here is pretty darn good. I can usually find what I am looking for, and they even have some unique items like German desserts available. This is my go to grocery store these days.

They have good produce and lots of other items too. The prices are reasonable and they haven't hiked them way up like most other places. Last week I found several of my favorite items on sale.

It takes a while to get to know Lidl. There are several choices that are usually available and at such great prices at times that it can be quite a surprise. There are very good choices of cheeses and chocolates. The bakery has some tasty choices of fresh baked goods. There are fruits and vegetables that I like so much that I must go there to purchase. It's a great place to browse and look at the merchandise that has very little to do with food! So if you have time, relax and check those out, too. Some other stores play music that makes me want to run out ASAP! But not at Lidl, thank goodness. The music playing in the background is usually relaxing and pleasant which helps me to enjoy this shopping experience as well.

love this store, great prices & some good finds!becoming hard to get my sugar free half n half & there seem to not stock other times as frequent.*update as of Feb. 2023. they tend to be out of many things lately. Chicken cutlet, they never have Sugar Free French Vanilla creamer...if you sell out if certain things fast, maybe order a little extra? So, I knocked my review down to 2 stars

Nice. Brand new store. Helpful staff. Wide aisles. Interesting household products. Good prices. You wont be able to get certain things. I could not get grape jelly, raw sugar, flavored oat milk. And some items have limited selections like cake mixes or hot chocolate. But all in all a good experience.

I shop here so often two employees always recognize me. But I purchased lamb and don't expire for days .. opened to make dinner other night and smelt so rancid, Google said not to eat if smells. I do have re wrapped to return but weather is too cold and rainy to walk up. I also want to say an older woman manager with dark hair one night told me they don't do rain checks , as she just seemed to not want to deal with me , and most stores do rainchecks I don't believe her.. then as I proceeded to check out, I asked if there was a garbage around to throw away napkins , the lady said no .. blatantly had a garbage on the ground next to her leg. The negative attitude from these two females was very inappropriately unprofessional and most employees there are very productive... These two lady's mustve thought I was messy looking , judged me and other people in line noticed to the point they told the woman that's not necessary, u have a trash bag for her put her trash in right next to u,. I said don't worry God don't like ugly souls.

Great guys "workers" inside thay store. They are very friendly an helpful. Went inside with my daughter to buy her a doll an get a lotto ticket it was a very fun experience overall. They deserve the customers who walk in there to recieve their goods an service.

Love this store. They have an amazing selection of products at unbelievable prices. I just bought a gluten free pizza for $4.97 when they are $9.99 elsewhere. And it's a name brand. The associates are super friendly and the store is very clean.

The prices are often lower than any sale. All their dairy products are significantly cheaper than than any supermarket and the big box stores They do not list per pound prices on many things. The prices are per ounce on many items, so you need to be comfortable multiplying by 16. The layout is odd. It can be a little difficult to finding things.
