We found some charming mugs here that we had not seen anywhere else. Mary Lou knows her history and what little local General Merchandise stores provided for their communities not so long ago. Step into this gem of a store and experience what our ancestors valued so much. Good conversations and the necessities of life in our earlier simpler days. Highly recommended if you are in the Durham Valley of the Great Northern Catskills. You won't be disappointed!

Amazing store full of one-of-a-kind treasures—from antiques, thrift store finds to curated and salvaged deadstock pieces that you won't find anywhere else. Friendly and chatty storekeepers are happy to talk and share their knowledge. I bought a perfect chambray work shirt never worn, perfect condition—how could I not?
