I would give zero stars if I could. Why would they have a barber who can't who can't deliver a proper cut? My son cried in the car after we left. I should have yelled when I was there, but that's not my style. This was the most uneven cut ever. His head had patches. I then had to take him to another barber to fix it and avoid him being made fun of in school. What a waste of time and money.

Kari is the best with hair braiding. Easy to talk to with the type of styles. Easy to make an appointment and once she starts she doesn't stop. Will always go to her for me or my daughters.

if i could give this store a negative star , i would. i went back numerous times to give them the benefit of the doubt, also because i recently moved up here & don’t know many places.to start it off, the customer service is terrible. not all of the employees are rude, but most of them are.today i go in for a wash and set ON SHORT HAIR in which they charge me $93 after telling someone else it would be $45.the last time i went, i was going to get braids, THE BRAIDER WAS 2 HOURS LATE after i had booked an appointment. i told them prior that i wanted goddess knotless, day comes & suddenly they don’t know how to do it. didn’t mind, so i did regular knotless. they were also EXTREMELY tight ripping my natural hair.the first ever time i went, i asked the lady if she could put the CLIP INS i brought with me in my hair, i didn’t know it was difficult. i just wanted to clip it in my hair , she said she was unable & can only do sew ins. i was clueless as to what that was at the time, so she did whatever she wanted & later then charged me another $200 on top of the blow dry. i know what it is now, so i understand the amount would’ve been fair but they definitely took advantage the first time.I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt, but that was DEFINITELY my last time going there i don’t care if i never get my hair done again, THAT SALON IS RIDICULOUS.

Aura (The Blondie) is a hair dresser there that I only go to. I have know her for about 20 years. She use to own a hair salon in the Bronx and later I found her working here. She is a professional and knows what she is doing. I have very silky straight hair that is difficult to cut and people have always messed up my hair. Since I have known her she is the very few who can cut it well. You have to be clear with her and tell her exactly what you want and she will do it. People always over cut my hair but if I tell her two inches she does just that. Again tell her exactly what you want. Be firm and clear and she will do it. The price for my cut is fair. She also cuts my son's hair and she charges me less for him. I would recommend to ask her the cost before incase you are on a budget.Service: Haircut

I have been avoiding writing this works weeks but I really think my story needs to be said.I stopped here for my son to get a haircut and had the other stylist fawn over my hair. She promised to do purple highlights using micro extentions. I have been trying to get purple highlights to show in my hair for a very long time. It was going to cost $350 with me bringing my own dye to color the rest of my hair.A week later I show for my appointment and the stylist is running late, it happens. I waited about 45 minutes and then get started. After discussing a few changes, adding more color, we get started with a cut, yes a cut fist. She then disappeared ro mix the bleach.35 minutes later She started bleaching my hair. She was really nice, friendly etc but it really made me uncomfortable that when the bowls ran out she just dumped more developer in and kept going. Nothing was measured. Ok .......then i was told the price doubled for service. Funny thing, theres no prices on the wall and they were able to charge what they wanted. I was hesitant to say the least so they easily took $125 off the bill. How do you walk out when you are in the middle of things? I have no idea what this costs. I should have run then.My hair now bleached she left for another 30 minutes to mix the color I brought. It didn't look the same but she swore she mixed in some pigments to help cover gray. Ugh....ok.As I am processing again, things got manic. She started yelling to people in the mall to come in for appointments, running out and chasing people down, throwing all of her makeup and bottles of rum in my bag, yes RUM!She was spoken to by the owner but at this point, i just wanted to run. I had no idea how to get out of this. It had now been 6 hours and my hair was in shambles. I mentioned to her that i needed to get put of there as I had evening plans. Ok one minute ...she took ANOTHER CLIENT while I sat there.Everyone was now leaving for the night and my hair still half done, my plans ruined, my wallet, empty. I told her I had to go. She added te extensions in about 30 minutes. It was done. My husband came to at least have a quick dinner with me and gave me $ for tip.My hair did look good in the end but......The next day, when my natural part showed, every single extension was on the top of my head in the part. She had parted my hair differently, which looked great but my hair did not do that naturally. So all of these little metal clips showed in my hair. It looked terrible unless i had a headband or a hat. Yes, my hair looked great, if I wore a hat.So I called. They told me she call back....nothing. I called again she picked up. She said she would call me back, nothing. So my beloved husband got pliers and took the extentions out. Today, 3 weeks later I dyed my hair back to the color it was as the new color was brownish red. The bleached sections were or bialage was orange and gold, just bleached not toned.I know I was too meak. I know anyone else would have flipped out. I know my wrong doings in this. I should have stuck up for myself. That being said, please consider this before you make an appt. At this establishment.Services: Haircut, Hair extensions

I never give reviews but in this case I feel like I should. What is possibly the worst haircut I have ever received…I realize this is a salon and geared more to women but they do have a gentlemen that cuts men’s hair and what I received was ridiculous. I was in the mall and in a rush to get a quick cut, couldn’t make an appointment with my own barber and mistakenly came here. Greeted by another employee who laughed when I walked in for some reason. I asked for a simple tape up and this gentleman just did not know what he was doing. My finished haircut resulted in the most uneven cut I have ever witnessed. The back did not match the sides. The way he was cutting seemed so amateur. My neck was still full of hair to cut. I have never had to go to another barber after coming from a barber just to get my hair fixed. I was in such a rush at the end because this haircut took and hour just for him to try and tape up above my ears. Which for the record isn’t even taped up. I don’t know what he was doing for the first 45 minutes. Definitely will never come back here and don’t recommend any men to get their haircut here either.Service: Haircut

I Gave this place a try for my eyelash extensions and It wasn’t a good experience. My eyelash extensions are not what I expected. When I first arrived I explained that I wanted mink eyelashes and that I wanted them to look natural. The technician said she understood and I explained it once more just to be sure. Either she didn’t understand or she just did what she wanted. My eyelashes were super long and dramatic and the texture of the lashes were definitely hard synthetic.I expressed that I was not happy with the service and she was polite but didn’t Do anything to rectify the situation.I feel like she didn’t listen to my needs and I will not be going back to this beauty bar.

This review is for Aura and the customer service here, I went in abt 3 months ago and got my hair dyed by aura to get highlights and she charged me$150 when highlights are nowhere from $75-100 aura doesn’t respect her clients, Instead she makes fun out you and goes very harsh on you . She constantly kept hurting me when she was brushing my hair. She bleached my hair and burnt it as well. She did not give her full service while washing my hair she left me by the Sink area and took another Client, she took 20mins on waxing her. She didn’t blow dry my hair nor did she cut my hair or style it. She asked me to pay $20extra so can hair can be completely dry.I walked out unhappy! I called the manager up and she did not help at all instead they had me waiting saying I have too much chemicals in my hair when that’s not how it works. This salon is not PROFESSIONAL AT ALL?! they didnt fix my hair AT ALL! I WNAT MY MONEY BACK this is UNACCEPTABLE. These people aren’t pros although they have their license they cannot treat their clients right. PLEASE IF YOUR GONNA GET UR HAIIR DONE PLZ DONT! THEY WILL RUIN YOUR HAIR!! Take thios advice and go some place better they will ruin your hair. NEVER COMING BACK HERE AGAIN. You people are rude and NOT pros at all ! This place iS disgusting !!! EMPLOYEES ARE ON THEIR PHONES WHEN GIVING SERVICE ! And THE manager here u are no help ! Learn how to be a pro and then come back! GO back to school !

I recommend hairstylist from salon A to Z. They give really good suggestions for any hair problem you have and also provide tips and tricks to maintain the style.

People that have colored skin should not go here at all im warning you the lady threaded my face over waxed skin where my skin was already sensitive didnt concern anything else but getting her money after i was rushed out of the store with 1st degree burns on my face professionally they only do eyebrows good but the rest of my face got ruined now im suffering with acne and discoloration which is alleged because before i went there my skin was very clear i spent alot of money here for nothing and have to cover my burn scars with makeup now its been like 3 weeks and the scars still have not vanished . threading isnt for black skin i have to use aloe vera for the next month and i dont like wearing makeup everyday but thanks to this place i have to now . good luck .!

Worst eyebrow place ever. She completely took off half of my eyebrow and they are so thin even after I told her I wanted to keep them thick. She rushed through it, messed up my eyebrows, and it was overpriced. Don’t go here.

I usually come here from Suffern NY because they always did it perfect(I try to come when Gigi is here but tomorrow I got an important meeting,I left in a rush but the girl was working alone did my eyebrows so bad I got pictures and a video I realized it when I got home omg,I don't blame all of u but this girl I dont know why she mess up my eyebrows.
