I love shopping local. Fresh market is great for a tomato or a gallon of milk when in a pinch. Unfortunately you have to check EVERY expiration date before you put the item in your cart. Once I went for a can of diced tomatoes, every one I picked off the shelf was expired. Yesterday I stopped by bc I was in a pinch and got a box of mini croissants while there. Once the package was opened I found out they were rock hard and stale. Disappointed yet again. I will be taking my business elsewhere.

Very exciting news - we have a new supermarket in downtown Nyack called Nyack Fresh Market, and checks all the boxes for a thoroughly enjoyable shopping experience. I visited the Grand Opening and was amazed at the variety of their inventory, the super friendly employees, and when was the last time an owner greeted you personally when you entered a supermarket. This place is going to be a hit definitely pay them a visit!

Really wanted to like this store. But it is such an absolute mess. They never have simple, standard grocery store items. Their prices are insane. $11 for a jar of hellmans mayo unless it’s on sale for 2.99. Not to mention that they’re lying about their prices!! Be VERY ALERT during checkout and try to remember how much they have items listed for because EVERY SINGLE TIME I go in, at least one item is entire dollar more than the tag price. This may seem harmless but it’s actually thievery. If things in the store improve, I will amend my review but until then it’s goin to stay here. WAKE UP FRESH MARKET. BE THE STORE WE ALL WANT TOU TO BE.

Wildly overpriced, consistent rotten produce- very transparent that this is a total rip off. Bad bad reviews. Read before shopping here.“I’m sorry,” from the owners doesn’t change anything. Lower your prices and stop ripping off the community. You know exactly what you’re doing.

I ordered a chocolate mousse cheescake over a week ago,and they failed to get it. The manager of Fresh Market in Nyack NY promised me 3 times,it would b the next day..7 days later,the same stale cake from 10cdays ago is the only thing in their case,and i ordered an ENTIRE cake,that was never picked up from Carousel Cakes. It was a birthday Cake, and the store marks up the cake 100%. A lot of things that sell out,take weeks to replace if they are at all. If u do shop there,just know most things they order are 1 hit wonders,u wont see them again

If you are going to shop here make sure you check the expiration date I’ve also seen a lot of cakes almost all the cakes that were made there was also expired last week i wouldn’t be surprised if there were other food products that were expired. Not shopping here again👎🏾

Freshness is sketchy. THE PRICES ARE INSANE. ADD to that the Shelf price ,the flyer sale prices and the register prices don't match consistently. Yes if you shop hard and triple check your receipt on occasion you might find a deal.

I love this place! It’s so conveniently located in the center of Nyack, right down the street from my favorite local gym, River Towns Fitness ❤️ It’s also more reasonably priced than the other local market Old World and they have my favorite sumo oranges! Along with other great brands and options. So happy they opened up here. A gem in the center of town 🌟They have lots of parking too 💕

Great store top to bottom! Nyack needed this. Customer service is A1. Very clean and homey. Hoping they can stay here for years to come. A great great addition to the community. Lived in nyack 11 years and I am excited to say we have a convenient spot like this to shop for our everyday needs. Go visit don’t listen to the naysayers. It’s a great feel in there and they have basically everything to choose from!

Conveniently situated in the heart of downtown Nyack, this place have all the basics needs for a quick stop at a grocery store and more. The place is very clean and staff courteous. Parking (free) is limited on the back of the building but there's the village (pay) lot with plenty of space at most times.

They constantly have expired products (especially meat) on their shelves. Be very careful what you buy. On May 20th, I mistakenly purchased chicken that had a sell by date of May 15. When I called to complain, as this has now happened 2 weeks in a row (last week was boneless chicken thighs that had the bone-in), no one was able to adequately resolve my issue. I’d love to give it another shot, but I am not sure I’ll ever be able to feel safe purchasing meat here.

Great store with great selections of all assortment. The customer service is outstanding. I was greeted in every aisle and was asked if there’s something I didn’t find to let them know so they could bring it in. Sale prices are really hot.

I’m so happy to have such great supermarket in Nyack! It reminds me of Westside Market in NYC. If you are familiarized with Manhattan you know that’s a very high end place for food shopping. Moved here from westside of NYC and was missing not having easy accessibility for a supermarket. No more wasting time and gasoline. This will be my first choice to shop for food. Great selection of fruits, vegetables, meat… and the prices are very reasonable. Don’t give it a 5/5 because there is always room for improvement. I highly recommend for you to come and shop here. Last but not least there is a big parking lot that allows you to park for free for 1 hour. 🎉

Limited organics, and what they do have that is organic, is a bit overpriced. The last few times, there were too many produce items spoiled on the shelves. This has become a “back pocket” emergency run rather than a regular shopping run. I'm really sad about it.
