The customer service in this place is excellent! The staff are very polite, courteous, and helpful from the minute you walk in until you walk out. I went to Aldos shopping for a gift for my mother when I was helped by the store manager Yahaira. She was very patient and was really helpful in helping me pick out from their selection of shoes and accessories.

Love this store ! The staff has always been nice and helpful especially the managers. I think I was actually in the store when this lady under me was screaming causing a scene. I saw the whole thing happen and I’m pretty sure her and her friend were stealing. The manager must have noticed and I think that’s why she was stopped at the register. I am a woman of color and have never felt uncomfortable with the current staff in this location. Only guilty people react the way they did 🤷🏻‍♀️

They also tried to deny my return I purchased online. They said since u paid through PayPal I had to ship it back. I called customer service a few days later and they said the store is supposed to take it back and credit me on a debit card. What a waste of time. I went back to the store and dealt with the same cashier, I explained the situation and told her she’s supposed to credit me back and she agreed and said on a debit card. I asked her why she didn’t do that the day before when I went and she claimed she’s never heard of that but that since customer service told me that she’ll honor it. Yet she knew it had to be credited back on a debit card? I’m calling BS on that. Def not coming back to this store.

I went to return an unworn boot without a receipt and this location refused to honor the return. The sales associate tells me that the boot looks worn and that she isn’t able to do return because she wouldn’t be able to resell the boot. Meanwhile this boot had original stickers on the bottom of the shoe as well as no creases. This location needs to work on properly training their associates when it comes to customer service. I went to another Aldo location which is near my home in Woodbury and they accepted the boot with no problems and gave me a credit that could be apply to another boot in their store. It is a shame that this location hires employees that provide poor service to people. Today is the last time that I would step foot nor consider purchasing anything from that location.

Second experience at their palisades mall store and it was distasteful, first my husband and I went to get some stuff for his birthday and that told him, that if he doesn’t have any email address he cannot purchase, yesterday I went pick up some stuff and went to the cashier, she told me the amount, I inserted my card , then another lady came and said I need a ID to purchase. She was the same one that we had the issue with before. She said it’s there policy. I felt profiled because a white man was before us and he paid with card and they never asked him for no ID, I’m a business owner and her behavior is really not acceptable. This is the highest of racism. I asked the cashier how she never asked the man for ID? She said “I don’t know” they need new employees.

Do not go to this location if a racist was a person go to Aldo's they are racist top to bottom I purchased the bag for my wife as soon as I leave the store they accuse me of stealing when the manager was the one selling me the bag she sends her worker out to ask me if I stole the bag that I purchased right in front of her please do not go there and waste your time going there they are racist and they're not doing good business

Young people nowadays..dont want to work, managment should hire older responsible ADULTS. . They are to busy looking down at their phones, gossiping about customers who just left. And...people walking in and straight out shop lifting, they just walk in see that workers are looking at their phones, the front of the store with people, and so then it happens....people just taking stuff and walking out.

This was a disaster I came to return a pair of shoes the music was so loud you couldn't hear yourself think and I was perpetually ignored by employees for nearly 10 minutes until somebody finally decided to help me but wow I will never deal with that again.
