Randomly passed this place after a great hike in Letchworth State Park. Pretty much the first spot we found on our way to Rochester. Great find though! Mel is very hospitable, tasty food, great and especially quick service! She took her time explaining everything to us which we appreciated. Thank you for this experience! I'm sure I'll come back one dayVegetarian options: A variety of vegetarian appetizers, salad and pizza. Mel will do her best to fulfill any vegetarian wish for sure.

I've had alot of pizza over my lifetime and Mel's is one of my favorite. I asked for mozzarella sticks on a cheese and pepperoni pizza and they made it no problem for me. They should definitely add that to their menu. Also make sure you bring cash because they don't accept card.

Stopped here on our travels after hiking in Letchworth state park. Delicious!! We ordered 4 subs; meatball, chicken Parmesan, chicken blue and Philly cheese steak. We cut them up and sampled them all. Highly recommend!!

Enjoyed a fish fry today. Absolutely amazing. I love the batter on the fish, the homemade rolls and the homemade ranch dressing. Everything was great.

I honestly love their red sauce, and always ask for extras. Although you have to remind them sometimes or they forget. Their calazones are they best, however they get the bread toasted just correctly is amazing. We've had some bad service before but typically the food is worth it and most of the staff is really great. Definitely the best place to order from in the area of nunda. Just wish they were open more. It's just so happens to be a lot of Tuesdays I look them up to order and remember they are closed.

I made a comment on Facebook stating that they were never opened and that is was unfortunate because they have good food…these people blocked me on Facebook from THEIR BUSINESS PAGE. I didn’t even say anything rude. I literally said it was unfortunate because they have good food. It’s really sad how small businesses react to people nowadays.. I’m sorry I hurt your feelings by being disappointed that you were closed once again..On a side note I normally enjoy your breadsticks and only your breadstick, your sauce is too sweet for me for the pizza and the first time I was there you burnt my sub..AND I STILL SAID YOU HAD GOOD FOOD. My mistake I guess.

Mel's has great food, the review from McChicken is not correct. There are times when they are unable to open due to illness and being understaffed. I blame this on covid and people are not willing to go to work these days, all businesses are feeling this right now not just Mel's

OMG !!!!!! Amazing food & very caring staff! Great prices too. I'm from nunda, so it was a relief to have great food so close to my house for once, and I pray that they succeed in every way. This will be our new go to :)
