Racist store. This has been the second time I came here and have been racially profiled. The first time I went food shopping and a young man asked if I paid for my stuff. Of course I did.. he literally scanned my items for me. Why would I walk out the store with a cart full of food and not pay? Why would I want to risk going to jail ??? Let alone, in a small town where I have to repeatedly go to this supermarket. You scanned my items for me and asked me if I paid.. I went here yesterday and my card kept declining due to my bank having issues and the lady implied over 4 times that I did not have any money and if I was sure I had money or if I was buying stuff without funds.. why would I walk into a supermarket without money, pick up and items, and stay by the register to pay for stuff? Im always polite but she was drawing the line.. You don’t tell your customers they don’t have money. How would she know? I’m done coming to this location. Seriously, teach your employees manners at this location. This is not the first review I see of other black people experiencing the same issue.

It was my own fault, but I had to visit the pharmacy and I got there while they were on lunch. I only had to wait 10 minutes. I know it’s not feasible for most places, but they’d get 5 stars if they had more than one pharmacist so they could stagger lunch and stay open.

Im giving 2 stars simply because its not the worst store I have been in. However it is deffinatly trying to be.This happens every thime I shop here, which is why I generally just choose to shop other places. but every now an then I get good deals here so I come back and it is the same thing every time. I get exactly 20 items and yes I count because as I proceed to the self check out, one sometimes even 2 employees rush I over as fast as humanly possible to make sure I dont have more than 20 items. They will start counting the items and question why I am using the self check out as if its some big case that needs to be solved Whatever like I said this happens every time so I purposely never buy more than twenty items when I shop there.So why leave a review? Well today made me feel like I should. As I went to check out They sent an entire task force of employees to examine my twenty items then ACCUSED ME OF STEALING by not scanning all my items .... Its 20 things you can count the things and count the items in my cart and compare it to the recipt its 20 items (I think technically 19 as bagles count as one half a dozen item but had them 3 in each bag) this isnt CSI just review the security cameras and watch me not steal anything case closed.So is it the worst store Ive been to? No but, it is one that really tries its damndest to make sure customers dont want to shop there.

I just got out from work went to price chopper 7 mins before there posted to close there doors and everything was all locked up tried get there attention and they completely ignored me when I was simply going to only be a minute to grab milk and cereal for tomorrow morning! Pool customer service! Specially when they looked right at me waving to them and they don’t even come see what’s happening, see if there’s a problem or anything but nope. I’ll stay going to everybody else grocery stores

Nothing I ever need is ever in stock. I use price chopper as my main store I have to stop at two or three others to get what they never have. Frustrating. They need to stock their stores better.

Not my first time here. Return because of quality & assortment of items. Neat, clean, great produce section. Prices are only slightly higher but I am willing to pay for better quality. Will be my go-to grocery store for the area.

The young man in the deli department was rude. I needed to ask some questions about sodium levels in low sodium ham. He gave me percentage levels instead of MG, so I asked for mgs. He rolled his eyes and huffed and puffed like I was a nuisance. I just walked away instead of buying. I will return when he isn't there.

Great selection of produce, meat and fish. To be honest, I was quite surprised. Pleasantly tho... Isles were clearly marked, and the check out staff were very kind and helpful.

I was told by several employees that bagels purchased after a certain time go down to $2 for 1/2 dozen. I was charged full price at 9pm. Went into store next day to get refund since I was overcharged. customer service acted like they could not be bothered and the manager told me the sale price varies. I did not get a $4 refund and wasted a trip to the store. No one apologized for this complete lack of courtesy, misinformation, nor jumbled policy. Get your story straight Price Chopper! That’s the last time I shop here.

Some of the staff are very rude . And sarcastic. I understand that they are very busy and have jobs to do but the customer is supposed to be always right You need to take the time to work with the customer to ensure they return to your store I personally will not be returning to this price chopper because of the rude staff members.

First Thing... Yes, Prices are on the High Side in This Store!! However Price Chopper has:: Fresh Seafood Dept.., Imported Cheese Dept.., Fresh Deli.., Hot Food Bar.., Fresh Daily Bakery Dept.., Floral Dept..and Multiple products that None of the Other stores Around Carry!!!Store is pretty much Neat and Kept Clean&Sanitized!!The Employee's are Mostly *helpful and *polite..Overall Price Chopper is a Great Store for Multiple Items and Needs!!!

I have placed several orders for catering. Rose, John, Jeff and Staff in the Deli Dept. are great, as are the staff in the Bakery Dept. Overall, every associate at this location is extremely friendly...

Consistently one of the cleanest looking stores I've ever been in and not just their grocery department but their non grocery products always look great as well. Having stocked shelves myself in the past, they do a great job of "facing" their products and keeping the shelves looking full. Always have extremely pleasant check out staff as well!

If you are a white person this place is great for you. But if you are anything else but white be prepared to be treated as a second class citizen.I went in to complete a western union transaction I already initiated on the western union app. All they have to do was check my ID and take my money. But they literally refused to do it for no reason at all. I was treated like a criminal for no reason besides trying to send money to my mom. Whome I have been sendind money on western union for past 22 years and they could clearly see I have even used the same location to send her money.

I love our local Price Chopper! Thankfully we have it as an alternative to Walmart. I looooove their seafood department, fresh and not overly expensive. Their meat and vegetable department don’t leave you wanting, either!Great sales, fresh food, and the guy working self checks is always super friendly. Makes for good shopping :)

I love this store. The staff is always polite and they go out of their way to make sure my kids have a good time in the store (cookies from the bakery or balloons). Only reason it isn't a 5 star is sometimes they aren't the best at checking expiration dates. That being said, they are always willing to exchange anything for you.

Overall clean location, large parking area. They usually have good sales, and members benefit from their savings at the gas station across the street. Prices can be higher compared to other local groceries stores. Fresh bagels are available. There is a deli section and a quick deli area with prepackaged selections to grab and go. Meat quality is good.

The management of this store isn’t good, employees are rude and unhelpful. If you can, you’d be better off going up to Hamilton’s Price Chopper, a much better experience. I live in Norwich and would rather go to Hamilton’s Price Chopper.The woman on the self checkout was rude. They wouldn’t open any other registers besides one, even though there was a long line. The night manager couldn’t care less.

I had mint chocolate ice cream that was fabulous. I had a small size that is 2 scoops but the scoops are very small. But the taste was fantastic.

I shop at Price Chopper all the time. They have the nicest employees in town! Not just one but in all departments. Their fresh produce is the best I can find locally. And they have a HUGE dairy department with many choices. Love shopping there!

3 employees watching over 4 self checkout machines,,, ahhh go open up three registers so we don't have to check ourselves out while being stared at by the workers that should be bagging our groceries, and if you're standing around getting paid for doing nothing why not help that elderly couple to their car with their groceries instead of watching them struggle
