I ordered fencing online for curbside pickup. This is the second time I have used this option.The staff was fantastic! My order was brought to my truck and loaded completely by the Lowe's team. I didn't have to touch it at all.I am sorry I didn't catch the young woman's name. She wore a blue vest, was very efficient and professional. She was a pleasure to meet. The young man working with her was the same.

Would love to share that I went to lowes in Onieda , In which I worked with for a USDA grant I got the check to pay for their exact quote went there to get the materials ordered for the project , just to be told they would not honor the quote value the close date was 1/15/24 and it was not approved by a manager ! instead of trying to resolve the issue the construction manager was rude and did not want to be bothered and said for a $1,000.00 more he would order it . well I admit I gave him his own snotty attitude right back to him, I asked for his store manager and he came and instead of resolving the issue , he told us to leave or he was calling onieda police and have us removed. Well long story short I went to Norwich lowes and I highly admit that your team there were above and beyond to help our situation . Gerald , Mark, TJ. and also I did not get the other names that helped . they went truly above and beyond to figure out the dilemma onieda caused , and I have to say they were not worried about nothing and I think the one young man worked over his break and came up and above and beyond customer service , and were very professional and very pleasant and listening to what had happened and solved the issue . I can not express this fine team is what this world needs , please these people deserve the best , you really went over above and beyond and you will get all my buisness from now on . again thank you if I could give a 100 star rating I would thank you and by the way my delivery is on 2/5/24! God bless them all can't express my gratitude and this project is gonna make a kitchen safe and usable for a disabled elderly woman, and you made it happen . thank you again.

We needed to get a hot water heater and Logan was walking out from the back and asked if we needed help. He helped with the whole process from getting the water heater, ringing us out, and also offered to load it with the electic lift on to our truck. He was very nice and had great conversation! Thanks Logan!

I got a card for giving someone a high five but honestly I have 2 to give that to..Connie and Judy at the service desk..both are so WONDERFUL!! Judy helped my disabled fanny load bags of soil and wheeled to service desk then loaded in my vehicle and Connie, as always, was so sweet and rang me up, setup my delivery and put up with my sense of humor!! It's just a WONDERFUL AND HELPFUL store and the employees are the BOMB!! ESPECIALLY Connie and Judy..everytime I'm in there..which is often!! Thank You for employing the best of the best!!

We went to Wal-Mart to purchase a new air-conditioner for our home. We were helped by a very nice gentleman that worked there...getting us a big cart and very informative about the one we liked. I rolled it up front and checked it out. The cash register women called several times to get a worker to help load it in a car as I'm disabled. That's what angered me...that extra 5 to 10 minutes waiting.

Kelly is the worst delivery scheduler ever. She called me Tuesday morning to tell me that the order I paid for and scheduled for delivery that day was not going to be delivered because "online doesn't understand that they don't have enough trucks" so she moved me to Thursday. (why do they offer scheduling online?) I told her that I had to leave at 2:30 to make it to a doctor's appointment but she could not give me any window of time - just 8am to 8pm (which is ridiculous for me to have to stay home for 12 hours and wait......even the cable people give you a 4 hour window.) so after being run around with lamo reasons we hang up - she calls me back shortly after and tells me she set the delivery up to be the first one on Thursday but that it would be very early - 6:30am. I said fine, I get up at 5am so no problem. 6:30 am came and went and at 7:15 I called Lowes and spoke to Kelly. She said that customers from yesterday were getting delivered first today - even though she scheduled with me and she pushed my delivery from Tuesday, so this is Thursday and that means that folks that scheduled for Wednesday originally were getting delivered before mine which was scheduled for Tuesday. How messed up is that?????? Anyhow, Ed Guyer, her manager, who has no customer service skills did NOTHING FOR ME. These two are terrible schedulers and provide the worst customer service experience possible. I was going to purchase an appliance package worth about $6000 but I will order from Home Depot or Wayfair before I would spend another dime at the Norwich Lowes. Eddy and Kelly just cost their employer a lot of money with their ineptitude and disinterest in quality customer service. These people simply DO NOT CARE ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS.

I went to Lowes looking to purchase a small flat bar. I looked high and low and couldn't find one. I went to see the people at the PROFESSIONAL check out area. Not one of them knew what a flat bar was. I was asked what it was used for. I said prying. They said that a flat bar was a special order item. I had to go to customer service to find the location.

Everytime I go into the Norwich Lowes I am greeted by how can I help you. I have e purchased my washer, dryer and refrigerator there with no issues. The I stallers were professional. I purchased lots of paint there. The staff were always nice. One of my purchases was a garage door opener, replacement from Hannah.. I paid for installation. But the "Handy Installers" were terrible. 3 times they canceled me. 10 pm the night before. Hannah was awesome. Her and the upper management fixed it. I appreciate them. Hopefully the "Handy" team clean up thier act.

Always have exactly what is needed and more. I always find myself stuck in the store looking to spend money on stuff I don't necessarily need lol. Their customer service is excellent. I probably get asked at least 5 times while in the store if there is anything I need help looking for. Which I usually do most times.

The greatest thing I have to say about this store is that they still support veterans. That's a big plus. However I would recommend that the employees get more training on where items are located in the store. The last three times we went there to get building materials, the employees sent us in the wrong direction or had no idea. We ended up finding it ourselves.2/2023: same level of customer service as before. Lots of people will ask you if you need help, but you're better off looking forward on your own otherwise you're going to be walking back and forth in the store while the employee tries to figure out where your item is.

The Lowe's in Norwich has a wonderful staff. Seem to be always on top of things and are very knowledgeable about their departments. Always great deals on useful items and in stock. What can't be found in the store can be ordered online online and the delivery or arrival dates are pretty much spot on.

Staff was nice, although not the most timely in dealing with special orders. Took weeks to get something from another location just the next town over…the young lady helping us didn’t seem the most knowledgeable, which is fine, but partner up with a manager or someone who knows what they’re doing so out $1000 order doesn’t just fall through the cracks. It would have been faster to just order it online from somewhere else.

A little misunderstanding this morning when my dryer was dropped off on my front deck without being installed.I phoned the Norwich Lowes and their Customer Service was excellent and very reassuring. I was directed to the store manager who was very courteous and understanding. He informed me that he would be contacting the delivery guys to return and install my dryer.Within less than an hour they returned and were very friendly and cheerful. They did a great job installing my dryer.Once again my extreme satisfaction and confidence with Lowes has been restored.Much thanks to the Lowes Team for the great work and customer service they provide.

The Lowe's in Norwich is one of if not the best Lowe's I have shopped at. Very well organized and stocked. The thing that really sticks out is the customer service by ALL the employees. They are extremely helpful and friendly that makes you want to keep on going back.

It's a good store but the cashier at the self checkout out was very rude I bought a gift card I couldn't figure it out we push the help button he walked right by us and helped some one else when he was done with them he went back and stood in his area ingnored us. I went to a regular cashier who was really nice

I have noticed the employees have been much more attentive to helping customers and bringing them to the item they need and have seemed to go above and beyond to make sure your shopping experience is exceptional.Especially the man in the wheel chair. He is very kind and always shows you exactly what you need and will even go get an item while you shop for another. Very impressed.Thank you for fixing the once horrible shopping experience to much more pleasant one.

Looked up what I was looking to buy. The website told me what I wanted was in stock and had 15 of them. Not one did they have and couldn't tell me when they might get some in. They told me to go to another store. Not out there wanting to jump around especially when what I wanted was posted as having the product needed to mark my drift/dead wood I make things out of to start selling them soon.

I've always visited Lowes stores and this happened to be my first time at the norwich location. We walked around for about 20 minutes or so before we found what we were looking for,, and none of the employees stopped to ask us if we needed help finding anything. Once we found what we came for, we headed up to the front to purchase our items, and a very nice older employee, stopped to make sure we found everything we needed and asked how we were doing today. We had a short conversation about the stores layout and a couple other things. He was very helpful and a kind and caring employee. We were pleased with the overall experience of the store.

talked with Jim tonight. I had bought a cheap quarter sheet orbital sander. After awhile I walked out with a Bosch round orbital sander. With the cheap one from across the road, the vacuum cleaner attachment wouldn’t stay on. It does with the Bosch. So come see him and you’ll be in good hands!

I don't frequent home improvement stores, so I have little basis for comparison. However, I was amazed at what a good experience this was. Because of the nature of our visit, we had extensive interaction with the manager, Chris. He was polite, knowledgeable, helpful, and spent enough time with us to make an outstanding impression. Other staff, likewise, were fantastic. I will definitely return whenever I have home improvement needs.
