My pup had an ear infection… and I needed an ear wash. I WISH I GOT THE YOUNG LADYS NAME who helped me out because she was awesome !! Very helpful and plenty of items to choose from. I can’t speak of the prices because I was more interested in getting something for my pup than I was price shopping, but I didn’t think anything was outrageous. Good place to keep in mind as it reminds me of a general store kind of feel . I’d return if I needed something in a pinch, but we live about 40 minutes away

Overall has some of essentials for animal feed and homesteading but the staff can be overstretched and very visible many times I am there. Given the location for the area there are better more local options within a reasonable driving distance and higher quality products and feed.

Friendly knowledgeable staff members make every visit great. With a large array of product for gardens, home decor, farms, and pets. I shop here regularly for previously mentioned items, items are priced fairly and it's not a huge corporate company.

Nice place with basic pet and garden needs. Store is kind of small and outdated when compared to other countryMax stores. Used to have a nice selection of live pets however they got rid of them. It was pretty much the only pet store in Norwich but is now gone

When this store was owned by I.L. Richer, it was a great store. It had knowledgeable staff, reasonable prices and items I had trouble finding in other locations. I have seen a steady decline in this store in so very many ways since it has changed hands so many times.Unfortunately it is the only store in the area that sells the brand of dog food I feed my dog. (Otherwise I have to order online or drive forty miles one way...) I am way less than impressed by what this store has become. I also have to question a store that sells baby chicks like it’s a contest and pushes those tiny, inappropriately sized “chicken coops” to un-suspecting first time chicken owners. There are so very many other issues with this store as well. I wouldn’t go here at all if TSC carried Canidae dog food.

Nice store with pet food and supplies, plants, feed, tarps, gloves, etc.Selection is pretty good and staff are really personable. The prices are a little higher than big box stores but are still reasonable for a convenient local option.

This store offers a wide variety to offer ranging from farm supplies, to pet supplies, to garden supplies. Customers service is very pleasant and efficient. All in all a highly recommended establishment to shop.

The propane refill area was very busy due to inbound arctic air. The staff quickly processed everyone through and remained friendly throughout the potentially stressful time.

Went in today and an associate named Caroline remembered me from the Sunday prior and remembered I was looking at the betta fish and she gave me the most awesome service and really made my day when she remembered who I was and what I was coming in back for will definitely go back to country max great people and all around a great place :)

Large selection of bird food. They do not stand behind their products. We some suet that even the the squirrels wouldn't eat and they were completely indifferent to it.We also bought a special cage to fit that suet and so now we have that cage that doesn't fit anything and a lawn dotted with discarded suet.
