I had a major well system leak on Sunday night and called their emergency number. The person answered immediately, walked me through how to stop the flow, and said they’d have someone come the next morning if I called early. My well was fixed by noon by a friendly, competent plumber. The price for such quick, good service was fair.

They are always there when you need them and carry an amazing selection of items in their store, and if they don't have it, they will try to get it. Why go anywhere else? I highly recommend Allen and Palmer to anyone, especially the elderly, who so often are take advantage of. These people are honest and that is nice to see these days.

The folks there are friendly and willing to help you out in anyway they can. The store is larger then it looks from the outside, there is an upstairs and downstairs of parts and merchandise and they know pretty much where everything is that you are looking for and make some suggestions to some of your questions or problems you may have and have some of the hard to find things too and usually well stocked and can order things also for you and do furnace heating, and plumbing work too. Also in the store is an auto parts store / place, which I believe is a dealer in / of NAPA parts.

Allen & Palmer does HVAC installation. They recently did some heating duct reconfiguration at my camp in Speculator and charged me only 2/3 of the estimate as the work went faster than they expected! Even the full bill would have been very reasonable. They were very pleasant and a job well-done.
