We traveled from Ontario for a week and the kids grabbed a yurt for a few days. Lots of activities for young and old. The mountains made a beautiful backdrop to our stay. Looks like the new owners are working hard at the campground, had in issue and the owners came good for everything. We had lots of room between the 3 sites we took. Lots of views and shopping. Take a chance at this park, it was worth the drive

We recently camped four nights at Spacious Skies Adirondack Peaks with 4 other families last weekend and had a wonderful camping trip. This was our first time here since it was a Yogi Bear Campground so we were somewhat apprehensive. We all camped on riverview sites with our campers. The campground was clean including the restrooms. The employees were extremely nice and welcoming. The pools were clean and enjoyable. The kids with us ranged in age from 7 years old to young adults. They really enjoyed all of the activities available including the pools, ping pong table, pool table, gem mining, bike riding, jumping pillow and weekend activities involving a water themed weekend. Also the price per night was very reasonable. We will definitely be going back!

Awesome campgrounds. Plenty of activities on the weekends for children. The pool is heated and was still open in the middle of September when we visited. Staff was super friendly and our cabin was clean. Only thing that could have been better would be a coffee machine vs a kuerig in the cabin. Other than that everything was perfect.Rooms: Clean cozy cabins.Nearby activities: High peaks wilderness is close to explore. Campgrounds has activities on the weekend for family's.

This is the first time I have ever been here, and we will def be returning. It was myself, my husband, and our son, and we were there for 3 days. It was very relaxing. My son absolutely enjoyed the playground and the jumping pillow. He loves to swim also but the pool water was a little cold the day we went to go swimming. All and all we had fun. I love that they do themed weekends for the kids. The place was very peaceful, and the staff were all friendly and willing to help with anything you needed. I would most definitely recommend this place to anyone who was looking for somewhere to camp. They also have all the necessities you would need for camping, plus much much more in the store. Thank you, Spacious Skies, for a very relaxing and much needed Vaca.. We will see you again in the near future!! 😊

Lots of activities for the kids, who were in heaven. We stayed in one of the cabins in the back which was perfect as it was a little removed from everyone else (we went during the week so it was quieter also). Kids did the jumping pillow, mining and pools. All were fun and they spent hours doing it. No issues with the cabin, besides a grill rusted through, but we used the one next door and told the office. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Lots of different camping options. Only con was there were a group of unsupervised kids who were using alot of negative language and just generally being punks but my kids just avoided them.

Husband and I took a trip with all 3 pups and I couldn't even tell you who had more fun!! The doggos and husband loved being able to walk the beautiful trail in the cooler weather, especially the husky. And being a fan of gems, I definitely bought an embarrassing amount of dirt for the gem mining(Got some good finds, so worth it!) Views were amazing and so was the staff, we will absolutely be back!!

Absolutely love it here and definitely recommend it if your looking for a great place to camp. There's plenty of things for kids of all ages. I first stayed here 12+ years ago when it was yoga bear park. They've definitely improved alot of things sense then. Staff was awesome. Sites aint the biggest but there average size. Prices are more then reasonable. The store on site has a great variety of everyday needs. We will definitely be returning this summer.

Spent the last week at spacious skis. This will be the last time we go. We have been going 3yrs in a row a few times a year. It was great experience the first year besides a sewage leak behind us that kept bubbling up in the road everytime the pump turned on.Tin box staff was great they credited us a couple nights for free. Now new ownership took over and everything has gone down hill! Pool freezing (heater not working). The river was warmer..But can't swim in river. Very little to no activities for kids. game room machines not working. bath houses unkept. Mini golf in disarray. All Prices went up. no golf carts to rent. Staff at office not friendly or office closed during open hours. And the sewage is still flowing across the road. We complained about it and they spread some lime..and gravel over it.( did not fix it) it's called dig it up and fix it. The gentleman next to us went up to complain and they offered him a discount in the over priced store they have.( price gounging). I could go on and on.... the only positive is the playground and jump pillow. don't waste your money. Happy Camping.

We stayed at Camp Tin Box multiple times last year and this Memorial day weekend, and we were never disappointed. We had a week camping trip booked a few days after the transition over to Spacious Skies, and just returned from another weekend there. I still love the campground, yes there are some changes but nothing major that would ever stop me from returning. You can see they are working all the time to improve the campground, and we were extremely happy to see that some of our favorite workers are still there, especially Megan and Rob. We love the activities during the weekend, especially BINGO!! The pool with the slide is definitely a big hit with the kids, and we always try to book a river site with full hook ups. Last year we enjoyed tubing, unfortunately this year with the lack of rain we weren't able to (campground can't control the lack of rain and the river being so low). All the other campers are extremely nice and the kids always find other kids to play with. We will definitely be back, and wish the new owners the best as they work on improving the campground.

Arcade is non functioning, with all the games out of order. Pools are closed and out of order "till further notice", beach area by river is dirty and had litter. There is no snack shack minus a slushie machine. River spots are right by the road and very loud. However staff was nice and bathrooms are well maintained. If tenting with little need for anything else, it's adequately priced. But if you are looking for the experience advertised and/or paying cabin prices you'd be dissatisfied.

Our site close to the cabins, pavilion and pool was perfect! The team was amazing and even helped us get to our site! Great campground to bring the whole family to with activities for all ages!Nearby activities: Great hiking, river trips and rail bikes nearby.

Love to camp at this campground. Except that there is a big difference now that there is a new ownership. A lot of things have changed, so many activities have been taken away, and when trying to make a reservation online, it shows all riverside as not available. When we arrive and stay 3 nights, there is nobody on those sites. 😕 Also we find it rather boring to stay there now, with so many changes, there's nothing to do anymore.

The cabins were well equipped and pretty clean. The campground had a lot to do, swimming pool, game room, movie night, train rides for the kids. They even had a mining sluice box you can buy a bag of gems and try your luck. The staff are super friendly and very helpful. If you had any issues they wanted to know right away. I had one issue with our bunk so they came and fixed it quickly. The camp store has everything you could need for camping. They even had food you could order. The place had a laundry room and a bathhouse for showers. My family definitely had fun and we will be back again. Did I also mention they are a pet friendly campground.

We booked Thursday, July 27th - Sunday July 30th . We arrived Thursday evening on buddy sites 128/129 with our friends. Upon arrival and unpacking, a sewage smell was present and only seemed to get worse. I called the office Friday afternoon to report how bad the smell was and they sent a maintenance man over in a truck to dump Lyme on it. With all the rain Saturday, the problem was exasperated. Flooding occurred and the smell was even worse. I called the office once again to complain and mention this has to be a health hazard. Maintenance returned with a bulldozer or something to divert the water. Everyone on that back row was disgusted. I talked to the local office and they told me to call their corporate number to talk to camp care, no one will answer the phone. My friends and I would like a refund, but there isn't a live person to talk to.I realized there has been flooding in many places with all the rain but this is an ongoing problem there and is exposed by the rain. This isn't our first experience with sewer problems at this campground. Last year, the sewer on site 59/58 was overflowing and the problem was again ignored. We camped on site 56 and couldn't hook up due to septic problems. This campground and company are a disgrace.

This is a beautiful campground and we had a great spot! The staff was personable and welcoming. Cannot give it 5 stars as the restroom/bathhouses were not cleaned the entire time we were there. Every time we went in the floors were tracked with mud. The washers worked fine, but only one dryer was working and it left black marks on my sheets. It was end of season but that is no excuse for dirty restroom/bathhouse.

My family and I absolute love this campground, we have made it a yearly trip. Plenty of activities for the kids and the staff is super friendly. Especially Meghan…. We just love her; you can tell she loves her job!! Friday night was karaoke night and Saturday night was bingo…lots of fun! First time we’ve been back since it has switched over to Spacious Skies and it didn’t disappoint. The cabin we stayed in (100) was much bigger than we thought; comfortable and had basic necessities. We’ll be back next season! Can’t wait to see what the new owners add to this gem. 💎

Think twice about going here. $30.00 if you want to "secure" an exact site. It is basically a trailer park full of seasonal campers. Not well set up for transient campers. Sites are small and right on top of each other. Campground map is totally inaccurate and there are virtually no signs anywhere. Access points to the water are not marked and neither are the paths. None of the roads or loops are marked and the direction to travel is unclear. Campground roads are pitch black and unlit at night. It is very easy to drive right into somebody's else site. We encountered unsupervised, very young children riding their bikes on the roads in the pitch black. Several sites are literally on gravel roads or on the side to cram in as many sites as possible. On the plus side, you can order pizza from the store and have it delivered to your site! The employees were pleasant. Although in need of updating the restrooms were well stocked and fairly clean.

Spacious Skies campground is a family friendly campground. On a holiday weekend the pools were unfortunetly closed due to circumstances beyond their control. The staff stepped up and put a cool waterslide up for the kids and they loved it! We also had the river to cool off as adults. The staff are super nice and helpful. I have been coming here since 2020 and will visit every summer until my passing! The staff makes me feel like family and they will welcome you into their family with open arms!

Our family had a blast tent camping here. We checked in late, and they were very helpful in leaving us a detailed map with directions so we could find our camp location. The site is clean and beautiful. There is a beautiful shallow river, which made for a great hike. We also enjoyed their two pools. Lastly, we especially loved this place because there were no mosquitos. :)

Stayed there for a week. During the week everything is pretty quiet within the campground, however, would not recommend staying on a riverfront site Rte 87 is just across the river and can hear trucks and state police helicopters all night. Extremely small sites. They had a great photographer take pictures for them. What you see on the website is actually two sites together. Weekends they do not enforce quiet time. Not a super clean campground. Bathrooms, pools, sites. When we arrived I picked up papers, and assorted things off the ground plus our fire ring had charcoal in it that had been dumped in it. Most of the staff were very pleasant. Wood and ice delivered quickly. A lot of activities for kids. Very dog friendly.

Very kid oriented. Our 10 year old loved it! Best Halloween that we ever had! (Even if it was in August! )We stayed in a "yurt" .....air conditioned, very clean, refrigerator, comfortable.Would have given 5 stars but, the bathrooms hadn't been cleaned over the 2 days that we were there. It still beats no shower and going in the woods! After all, it is camping!

We stayed for 3 nights at tent site 157. We had a private trail to the river and we were able to walk up and down as we liked without going through other sites. The daily activities were great for kids. Pool area was clean and the hours were great. Faculties were cleaned often and every one was so friendly. I recommend for a nice time with kids. Thank you for your hospitality.

We had a great time here. Perfect for families with preschool/ elementary age kids. Plenty of activities (organized games, crafts, train, hay ride, mini golf, jumping pillow, pool with slide) to keep everyone busy. Yogi Bear and Boo Boo came out a few times, and our kids thought they were hilarious! The playgrounds had unique features including a wooden ship and castle. Staff was pleasant, and campground was clean. The second pool and the jumping pad could use some work, but they were still usable.

Made reservations for a particular site and received confirmation email containing a picture of the site. After a 4 hour ride and arriving to site it did not even look close to picture of site we had reserved. Roads do not have signs. Was told there was no site that looks like the picture of the site we reserved. The girl in front office with red hair needs to learn how to deal with people, terrible attitude. After voicing my concerns to manager, he agreed to refund my money, we left for another campground. Site was not clean and was not meant for big rig causing us to pull out and back down road to exit. I would not recommend this campground to anyone!

We spent 3 nights in one of the yurts at Camp Tin Box. The bed in the yurt was very comfortable, and the campground itself was quiet and conveniently off of Route 87. We slept soundly all 3 nights. When we got into the yurt the surfaces had a bit of dirt on them, but, like, you're in the woods. If you were regular tent camping, you'd have WAY MORE dirt on everything. I'd just recommend wiping stuff down with a paper towel or sanitizing wipe.2 of the 4 showers were out of order, but the 2 that worked were nice and warm with good pressure! It's clear that the folks who took over this once Jellystone park are putting love and care into this place as they slowly make it their own. Camp Tin Box is worth a stay if you find yourself in the area!

We went as a group of women for a bachelorette party. We left the cabins that we stayed at and the fire pits that were available. Each cabin was heated. It was beautiful during the seasonWith the leaves changing around us. The campground seems very welcoming. Unfortunately we are not the quietest people but it seems like we didn't bother anyone around us. We will come back again.
