I want to give this place an honest review. My stay was good, but we arrived in a large group and basically booked the entire hotel. Several of the rooms were not ready at check-in time and some the electric code to the rooms did not work. We had to wait several hours after this to get a live person to respond and go to the hotel. Finally we were attended to, but after driving 4-5 hours to get here, this was not what we wanted to deal with. To the management, when you know you have the entire hotel checking in at 3pm on the same day, it is a good idea to have someone there, just in case. The hotel itself is clean and looks recently renovated. Our bed was comfortable. Although they stated breakfast was included, supplies were not replenished during our 4 days stay.Nearby activities: Gore MountainWalkability: In the center of town.

Spent the weekend for a quick getaway. Had an issue the first night and Stephanie, the property manager was very quick to remedy. Location is great. You are in walking distance from everything downtown. The rooms with a balcony view are recommended. Clean property, decor matches the Adirondack's well.Noteworthy details: Choose your dining wisely while in town.

While the location is excellent, the lodge operates more like an Airbnb. This means regular room cleaning and garbage removal are not included, so guests are responsible for these tasks. Unfortunately, the mini-fridge in my room wasn't functional, and the overall room cleanliness was subpar. On the positive side, the heating and Wi-Fi worked very well. However, I should mention that lower-level rooms facing the parking lot receive minimal natural light, which could contribute to a dark and potentially depressing atmosphere. Additionally, the walls are thin, so conversations from neighboring rooms can be easily overheard. However, different individuals might look for different things in lodging, this is my personal experience.

Five stars! The rooms are spacious and clean. Every amenity is covered; If you don’t have it in your room, walk over to the great room. They have great gourmet coffee and freshly popped popcorn! The housekeeping staff is very friendly and accommodating and their General Manager Stephanie is incredible. All in all, terrific value- you will find this a great place to stay for your ADK adventures.

So we were a little hesitant at first to get a room at the Alpine Lodge, because it's right directly on Main Street in North Creek. We figured that during peak leaf season the roads would be tremendously busy and we were afraid of noise at night. Turns out our room which was directly on the end in front of the street, was almost soundproof. We heard nothing from our neighbors, we heard an occasional corridor slam as people got out, but not a constant rumble of traffic. It's a beautiful place, it has a wonderful common great room that has all sorts of surprises in it, it has a beautiful back area with a fire pit and chairs. Chairs. It's contactless. So they sent us our room number and our lock code the day before we got there and we never saw anyone. Not that I wouldn't have liked to meet someone and thank them, but it was nice and private. Definitely definitely would stay there again!

This past weekend has been my 5th stay at The Alpine Lodge. My husband and I discovered it last summer when searching for a place near Lake George to celebrate our 1st wedding anniversary. Since then, it has easily become our favorite place for quick getaways. The rooms are always clean, and theres tons of extra ammenities if needed. We love sitting by the fireplace in the back yard area. We will definitely continue to stay here in the future!

Located in North Creek close to Gore Mountain this lodge only provides sleeping accommodations. There are no services provided, although many restaurants are within walking distance. There is no room service.Rooms: Room was small but cozy. Bed was very comfortable.Walkability: Located in North Creek it is close to shopping and restaurants.

Rooms were charming and clean. Our only problem was that the shower head sprayed at the wall and not your body, and you couldn't turn the shower head from where it was.BE WARY of The Alpine Lodge not honoring their 10% off package deal for either the Revolution Rail or White Water Rafting. I was robbed $50 (the 10% off discount). Although both Expedia and The Alpine Lodge agreed I should be reimbursed AND I had an invoice for the discount, I was charged full price and both refused to refund me. I called Expedia's customer service line and spoke with the owner Stephanie of Alpine Lodge multiple times, but both refused to take responsibility and wanted the other to refund me. Save yourself the headache and don't book with The Alpine Lodge or Expedia!!

This place is great. It's a great place to stay in a cute, quiet little town surrounded by beautiful mountains. The drive there was beautiful and the room/stay was perfect. The rooms are neat, clean and cozy. I really liked not having to check in at a desk with people because it makes the experience more private, and I'd imagine it'd be great for someone with social anxieties as well. They'll text you all the info you need for your room before it's time to check in. It's only a 30 minute drive from Lake George, and North Creek is nice to tale a walk through, too. Highly recommend!

This place was awesome, the cleanliness was the first thing that stuck out to me, it was totally spotless. Me and my partner also had our car break down upon arriving, and the staff was nice enough to drive us to the mountain and back so our trip wasn't ruined while the car was being repaired. Very attentive and caring. Will be going back.

Honestly, a terrible experience. I Booked directly through their website to avoid third party booking confusion. Specifically booked a king room with balcony because it was my birthday. My confirmation said ADA king room. I called them right away and left a voicemail explaining that what I booked and what my confirmation said were two different things. I didn't get a call back. I called several more times, then it said voicemail was full. No one EVER called me back from the first time I left a voicemail. Then we get there, for my birthday on my birthday, and surely enough, we are in an ADA king room, neither my husband or I have disabilities and I actually felt guilty being in there. When I went to front desk, I seemed to be the only one with the code to get in. There were at least 3-4 other couples that booked through expedia or booking that never received the digital codes to access their rooms/ the property. Finally someone showed up.It continues. I was told by the manager that I would be reimbursed the difference between what we paid for, the king with balcony, vs what we got. She kindly asked if she can address the issue in the morning since their were several couples with no rooms. I said that's fine. The next day, I was told that they weren't going to reimburse me. I explained again that I called instantly when the confirmation email was indeed the wrong room. It continues. They told my husband they will upgrade us on the third night to the suite w/ kitchenette facing the backyard since there were no more king balcony rooms and that the third night would be free, but we would have to stay in the wrong room the second night as well. We still haven't been refunded the third night. Then to top it off, on day of checkout, the amount of noise you can hear from the floor above the suite was insane. thankfully we are early risers but we live over four hours away and getting decent sleep is important . The ADA room was better than the noisy suite. ALL OF THIS would have been COMPLETELY AVOIDED if we actually got the room we booked. The whole entire lodging situation being an issue from the second I hit confirm booking, and still continues since no refund was issued.

Updated, beautiful and very clean rooms. Check in is a breeze, they email you your door code with everything you need to know and you let yourself into the room at your leisure. There are lawn games behind the hotel with a big grassy area for kids to play. Also in the back there is a beautiful outdoor fireplace to enjoy after a long day hiking or exploring.

Broken furniture in the room on artival. No service staff to help with anything. Nobody is answering phones ever. Smart hotels sound cool, but they seem to be an excuse for not hiring people to manage the buisness. This smart hotel also seems dangerous to me. Imagine being stuck outside in the winter, unable to get into your room cause the cold killed your phone, and there isn't any staff to let you in...

Ok, I give it 4 stars because of the staff. Very helpful and accommodating. Rooms are “ok” Thin walls, small, a bit worn. If you stay in the larger rooms in the bottom be prepared to hear each step people make in the rooms above you. No sound proofing/insulation at all. You can hear the conversations in the rooms above and below. Well decorated but in need of a “refresh”

I cannot say enough about how helpful the woman was when we had been given this hotel for our work stay by accident. She took time to help us find where we were supposed to be then printed directions for us since service up here is spotty. If she was that helpful with us not staying there I can just imagine how amazing this place is of you do. Thank you so much for helping 2 lost travelers get to the right placeNoteworthy details: The staff in the pub are amazing! The decor and rustic feel is pure comfort

The Alpine Lodge is charming and well appointed. The worst part of the experience is that there is NO OFFICE, no personnel on hand to help, especially with the first night's check-in. The information on check-in was emailed to me on the day we arrived, which we hadn't seen upon arrival. It's the hospitality industry without the hospitality, at least on the human level. Our room was the accessible room, which had NO DESK. For modern visitors, a desk for one's laptop is a must. Once we got past the check-in and the absence of a desk, however, we found the lodge to be quite pleasant, and the town of North Creek also very lovely. So Alpine Lodge was a mixed bag - but probably an honest 3 out of 5 stars.

The stay at the Alpine Lodge was good and not great because the manager, Charlie, placed us in a room that I had not reserved and the check-in process was difficult. The room code was not emailed to us by 2:00 PM, as promised (check-in is at 3:00), and when we arrived we had to email and call her to get the digital room code. Their website says the code is supposed to be emailed to you 3-5 days before your stay. When we did finally get the room code, the room that was given to us did not have a balcony. She half-heartedly offered an apology and said we could switch to a different room with a kitchen and patio the next day. While I appreciated the upgrade, her interaction with me did not leave me feeling confident nor respected as a paying customer.

Very disappointing experience. From what I read online I was expecting an amazing hotel with wonderful grounds located in a beautiful location. However, upon arriving, the lodge felt more like a roadside motel. The room itself was a bit smaller than I was expecting, and it didn't have everything it was advertised to have (there were no USB outlets). While I liked the theme they are going for, how it was constructed felt too new and fabricated, and gave the vibe of one of those backyard AirBnBs built entirely out of Ikea furniture.I am not a fan of contact free hotels and the Alpine Lodge certainly did NOT help change my mind. Even before we arrived there were problems. The email we got failed to contain the necessary information to check in, so we had to call and text several times to get our room number and keycode. We booked the Autumn Romance Package, which was supposed to include champagne, chocolates, and tickets to the Gore Mountain gondola ride. Unfortunately, getting all the things we paid the extra $100 was like pulling teeth. We were told that our room would take extra time to get ready, but when we did finally get access to the room there was no chocolate or champagne. Once again we had to call and text to get these extras (which, again, we paid extra for). The fact that there is no reception desk or front office, means that you have no garantee to get in touch with someone. This is very frustrating and makes for a HORRIBLE customer experience.By the morning we still had not received our gondola ride tickets. We tried texting and calling, both the main phone number and the direct numbers. It wasn't until we went to the Great Room, their common area, and bumped into actual employees, that we were able to have our problem resolved. Again, this is meant to be a "contact free hotel" however it seemed the only way we were able to get good service was to hunt someone down and have a conversation face to face.Overall, the room itself was fine and the location in the Adirondacks is nice. However, I would NOT recommend booking a package deal with the Alpine Lodge. Maybe stay here if you only need a room for a night in the middle of a journey. But if all you need is a room, there are cheaper places in the dacks.

Great place to stay! Stayed in June 2022. Check in and check out was contactless, but they are available if you need anything. They send all the info you need electronically. Room was nice and very clean and comfortable. The bed was so comfortable! Great place for coffee next door and for dinner across the street. Would come here again definitely!

Newly Renovated with luxury style, linens, soap, Nespresso & chic decor in Adirondacks theme. Rooms open straight to street - lots of hikers, family & locals. Huge bathroom & plush pillows. They give you code to room & lodge with which is accessible 24/7 - perfect for late or early arrivals. Be sure to get your codes/room assignment before you arrive & you’ll have seamless experience.

Excellent staff - very friendly and accommodating! Easy to check-in/out independently with a key code. Very accessible to Gore Mountain (5min drive). Clean and comfortable. Free snacks and popcorn all day. Nice continental breakfast. One suggested improvement- better coffee. You may want to bring your own. Overall, great! Would definitely stay here again!EDIT: The lodge reached out to me within minutes of writing this review to ask how they could improve the coffee for next time. Excellent customer service! :)
