First arrived the air condition was not working. They game me a new room with no problems. The room is very comfortable and clean. Only downside the bathrooms are very small and the toilets are small for the large customers. Just day one. So far i am satisfied

What a wonderful find The lodge was. Clean newly remodeled rooms where a lot of attention has been paid to the details of what a skier needs in a room. Mark is a great owner/operator that cares about your experience. We had the great fortune to get snowed in and had to stay an extra day, Mark helped us out and we spent an additional night. Only 2 tenths of a mile from Gore Mountain, can't get any closer. We left an item in the room when we left, called and Mark immediately mailed the item to our home in Maryland. Beck's Tavern on the property is also an incredible place to get a delicious "foodie" meal and great service. I can not say enough good things about our experience at "The Lodge", my family looks forward to our next visit!!

Sounds better on paper than in reality. Owner is hard to get a hold of for any questions you may have. The shuttle was nowhere to be found and if you want to ask the owner about it, you can’t get a hold of him. You will hear him though, seeing he lives above the rooms, and is active until 2 am. We asked house keeping not to come in but she did so regardless. She said she had to take the trash but ended up leaving our trash and folded one blanket. Ended up leaving a day early and would not recommend.

A superb little hotel. Looking very quaint on the outside, and thoroughly modern and clean inside with surprisingly upscale amenities and kind, conscientious service. A very happy discovery for our family. The new Beck's Tavern next door by the same family is also phenomenal.

Nicely located 650m from entrance to Gore Mtn ski hill. Becks Tavern next door means walking to your room after dinner and a few brews. Have to go into to town for breakfast however. Clean comfy rooms, firm beds, flat screen TV, free wifi, electric heat, very friendly owners. Nice quiet place to stay & relax. Yurts are interesting for storing ski equipment and hanging out with friends/family, equipped with wood stoves. Good accommodations for couples or families.

My two friends and I recently stayed at the Gore Mountain Lodge for 2 nights. We had an excellent stay and I would recommend this hotel to everyone visiting the mountain. It is conveniently located right next to the ski resort- only about a 2 minute drive to the parking lot. The two brothers that run the place, Matthew and Mark, were exceptionally great hosts. Their true hospitable nature makes you feel right at home. An in-room Etch A Sketch, complimentary coffee and donuts in the morning, discounted lift tickets, 2 awesome Yurts to hangout in at night, bonfires and fire spinning, what more can you ask for.

First thing we said was "this cannot be the right place". Upon first glance, it's disheartening to compare the $160/night cost to the physical image in front of us. It's definitely "high end", for people not accustomed to chain hotel/resort standards. It was fairly clean, if not quite sparkling.... But THE BED!!! The bed was amazing, by any hotel standards, and we had a better night's sleep than in recent memory. It made up for the "I'm sleeping in cousin Billy's room while he's away at college" vibe. Although we likely will not stay there again, the manager Matt was very helpful and accommodating.

The Gore Mountain Lodge is a fantastic boutique motel located at the base of Gore Mountain.The lodge is minutes from the outdoor activities the Adirondacks are famous for. We spent an afternoon snowshoeing on a trail that started just behind the lodge and the views were spectacular. The pictures didn’t do it justice. We warmed up afterwards in a yurt with a wood-fire stove. It’s so cool! It’s also a great place to wait for the shuttle to go up the mountain to ski. The lodge is family run and their love for the property and outdoors emanates throughout the motel and property. I highly recommend the Gore Mountain Lodge!

Awesome place to stop. When we were there, the Yurk was not open but looked so cool. Never saw anything like that. Really really cool. Wish Pennsylvania had something like that. Would love to order the homemade skull Adirondack chair. Is it available to ship to PA????
