This place is a good fit for all generations (some rooms even have bunk beds).The location is perfect, either for a 3-minute drive to Gore Mtn, a 15-minute drive to waterfalls (summer!), or to park there and not have to use your car all weekend. We found nature trails across the street and spent the morning through woods, and the afternoon walking through town.Penny & Jeff were great hosts. They seem to have a good sense of the social capacities of each of their guests, ranging from engaged hospitality to letting you go rest in your comfy room.Finally, breakfast was great! Thank you!Nearby activities: If "nearby" includes a 20-30 min. drive, there some nice hiking, lakeswimming, and paddling opportunities. Some lovely lakes to the west. Or, as mentioned above, you can keep it close to home base and enjoy what's right outside the door.Walkability: You can walk to Gore, to a sledding hill, nature trails across the street, or down the street into town. The community center is worth checking out for the art and for the local history. The community mosaic on one of the blocks is great. We dropped into the art gallery across the street and spoke with the artist who put the mosaic together. That said, I felt like we didn't exhaust the possible things to see on our feet.

Penny and Jeff are excellent hosts and run an incredible bed and breakfast experience. Goose Pond is family friendly and very close to Gore Mountain for those that ski / board. Penny goes above and beyond to ensure all guest are comfortable and have their needs addressed. Jeff, the Chef de Cuisine, prepares an excellent daily breakfast so you'll never be hungry when you're hitting the slopes. Can't say enough good things - we'll definitely be back next winter!

Penny and Jeff went above and beyond to make our stay welcoming. We spent two lovely nights at Goose Pond Inn where we had a delicious breakfast every morning before we went skiing. Penny gave us great tips on where to dine in town and made sure to have tasty treats back at the inn. I forgot my purse at a local restaurant and Penny was kind enough to retrieve and ship to me. I was so grateful. We look forward to visiting again and would highly recommend!

We were so pleased with everything at the Goose Pond Inn! Penny and Jeff are delightful hosts; the house is gorgeous and super cozy, which was great for us after a long day of skiing, and Jeff is a stellar breakfast chef. And their assistant Roddy is such a sweetheart.They also provide 24-7 coffee and tea, and Penny greets you with homemade baked goods upon arrival. It is like walking into a fairy tale.North Creek has some really lovely spots for those traveling to ski--in addition to Goose Pond, Cafe Sarah (such good coffee!) and Becks are solid and close to the ski bowl and the inn. All in all, this is a perfect inn and town for a weekend getaway.Rooms: Our room was cean, cozy, and tastefully decorated. It was also equipped with TV, chairs, and dresser. The area was very quiet, so even though the room faces a road, we didn't hear a thing and slept very soundly.

Stayed here for the 2nd time this weekend, I cannot say enough wonderful things about the Goose Pond Inn, it’s a home away from home. Penny and Jeff are so kind and welcoming, always have time for a chat and are so accommodating. The rooms are all spotlessly clean and the decor is adorable, every room is different, I can say this quite confidently as I have stayed in each one. If I start raving about the breakfast I will run out of words! So let me just say it’s delicious. There are home baked cookies on the dresser in the dining room for guests, coffee available also. The house itself dates back to the late 1800’s and is full of that old charm. There is a fireplace in the living room that is going constantly, so that immediately makes you feel right at home. The grounds are beautiful, there is a fire pit with a circle of chairs for guests to gather. It’s a five minute stroll into the town of North Creek, which has much to offer, including restaurants, bars, little coffee shops and gift stores. I love this place and would highly recommend it, can’t wait to come back.

The Goose Pond is now run by Penny and her husband Jeff who own a very friendly and fluffy border collie/Burnese mix. Breakfast was delicious and our favorite part was seeing full-on fall foliage from our seats in the dining room! They were very accommodating and it felt like visiting family. The sleeping bear room had a great shower and a very comfy bed. Tea and coffee are available all the time and there are pastries out for your enjoyment. They are very pet friendly and we enjoyed seeing everyone else's pups while there. We didn't get to explore the town but Gore Mountain is a 10 min drive and they have very pretty mosaics in the town just a short walk down - there seemed to be plenty to do there any season. Looking forward to the chance to return!Rooms: Comfy and quietSafety: Felt very safe staying here and walking aroundFood & drinks: Delicious and available all the time

My husband and I recently stayed here and highly recommend Goose Pond Inn B&B. Penny & Jeff have a beautiful place with great amenities. Their place truly feels like your home away from home. I planned a last minute trip to North Creek for my husband's birthday and Penny was quick to reply to me and accommodated us only needing to stay one night. Their breakfast is 5 star as well and a lot to choose from. There is coffee and tea bar that you can help yourself to 24/7 as well as homemade treats and a snack/soda area. We stayed in the Pinebrook Glades room. That was the only room they had avaliable and it's the biggest room with a king sized bed and then a bunk bed that is a full size on the bottom and twin on top. Very nice, newly renovated bathroom. Huge plus for us is they are kid and pet friendly!!! We cannot wait to visit again.

The experience was amazing, Penny and Jeff were sweet as can be and very accommodating! They even went an extra mile by making these lovely snack bars as a birthday treat for my little sister, who's birthday was prior to our stay. The rooms were comfortable and very tidy, I'm someone who is picky about where I stay but the rooms met my standards and then some! They had snacks set out and stations to make drinks. The food was amazing and it was all locally sourced. Also Roddy was a darling. Very cozy and friendly experience, 15/10, HIGHLY recommendSitting amidst tranquil surroundings, this charming Bed and Breakfast effortlessly wraps you in its cozy embrace from the moment you step inside. What a wonderful stay we had at the Goose Pond Inn during our trip to North Creek to do white water rafting at Square Eddy Expeditions! The accommodations were modern, comfortable and clean.......the common spaces were also very comfortable, clean and accessible. The breakfasts were delicious and there was so much to choose from. The firepit is heavenly. The hosts, Jeff and Penny, ensured our stay was enjoyable, from beginning to end. ! We will definitely be back!

During our mini-vacation my wife and I enjoyed a overnight stay with Jeff and Penny. They couldn't have been more cordial and helpful. The accommodations were clean and comfortable and met all of our requirements. Our included breakfast was tasty and filling with many available food choices. One note, if anyone has difficulty with stairs, this could be a problem as all of the rooms are on the second floor but as elderly adults we were able to fairly easily carry our luggage up to our room.We would absolutely stay at Goose Pond again should the location be right for future visits to the area.

My wife and I spent the weekend with our dog at the Goose Pond Inn and we could not have picked a better spot! The Inn is beautifully kept and our room was very comfortable. The breakfast was absolutely delicious, with perfectly cooked eggs and homemade whip cream to go with the waffle and pancakes. We spent some time around the fire pit one night and really enjoyed just relaxing outside with the pond nearby and the fire going. I would highly recommend this inn to anyone stopping by the area!

Penny and Jeff obviously love their new venture because the minute you meet them, their enthusiasm shines through. Deb and I flew in to the tiny airstrip in North Creek, a short walk to the Inn and we were delighted to find out that another short walk from the Inn brought us to the center of town. The food was delicious, the room perfectly clean and comfy. We are headed back in a couple weeks and can't wait.

Loved our stay at the Goose Pond Inn!!! The Inn is very charming and our room/bathroom were very clean and tastefully updated. We had such a great time playing board games by the fire in the living room, and the treats and breakfast were super delicious!! The hosts were amazing and made sure we felt completely comfortable and at home. A short walk takes you into the town which has cute antique shops and great places to dine. We will most definitely be back, and highly recommend the Goose Pond Inn for a great stay just minutes from Gore Mountain!!

We had an excellent stay at Goose Pond Inn. It's a cozy B & B located right next to Gore mountain. Excellent spot to stay for a ski trip or just a quiet getaway. The homemade breakfast was a highlight of our stay and we enjoyed everything we ate...from omelettes, pancakes, to waffles. The hosts were incredibly friendly and accommodating. The best part was that they are dog friendly, and our pup had a great time as well! We will definitely be coming back for another stay!

Took my daughter on a motorcycle overnight to Adirondacks, and we found the Goose Pond Inn. What a great place! Penny and her husband are so friendly and accommodating and kind. They recommended a few activities to us, and the breakfast was 5 stars as well! Biker friendly, great food and right there within walking distance of the little town for Gore Mountain. Highly recommend. Also there dog Roddy is a rockstar.

We had a wonderful, cozy winter stay at the Goose Pond Inn B&B! Welcoming and inviting atmosphere, with kind and friendly hosts. The breakfast options were extensive and delicious! The pictures don't even do the space justice. Our room (the Cascade) was so clean and just enough space. Brand new, spacious bathroom. The extra touches made our stay enjoyable and a home away from home. Lastly, it was just a few minutes from Gore Mountain and the heart of town. We highly recommend the Goose Pond Inn B&B.

We stayed at Goose Pond Inn for a ski trip to Gore. Goose Pond Inn is clean, cozy and convenient to Gore (a 5-minute drive) and the town of North Creek. Penny and Jeff–and Roddy too!--were incredibly welcoming and attentive hosts. They made us feel right at home and made sure we had everything we needed. Jeff prepared a made to order breakfast every morning that was hearty and delicious, which was the perfect fuel for a day of skiing. We’re already looking forward to our next stay at Goose Pond Inn coming up in March!

Everything about the Goose Pond Inn was GREAT!!!!It was very clean!!!!The rooms are pretty and cozy and comfortable!!!!The breakfast is amazing - fresh, delicious and made with love!!!!Most of all, the owners, Penny and Jeff, are wonderful hosts - very friendly and easy to talk with, and you can tell they love what they do❤️❤️❤️❤️Rooms: The rooms were very clean, comfortable and cozy!! I just stayed at the Goose Pond Inn for a few nights and I really enjoyed it. The rooms were clean, the accommodations were way above and beyond, and the included breakfast exceeded my expectations. I would (and plan to) stay again!Nearby activities: Gore Mountain and Revolution Rail Co.Food & drinks: I made an unsuccessful attempt to try food from all of the local shops during my short stay. Everything I did have was good! There were definitely some good spots for food in the area, and all within walking distance if you don't mind walking for a few minutes!

Where do I begin! Unbelievably wonderful experience. Inn was cozy , immaculate, and quit in a bucolic setting. Owners were attentive, generous, kind, and highly skilled. Made to order breakfast was delicious and served at the time I selected with gorgeous view out front window.
