Usually don't mind paying a little extra at ACE in order to get the personal service. Walked past 4 different employees in search of a plumbing item and no one offered assistance or acknowledged my presence when I finally stood at the service desk.

Workers were very helpful and it's a great hardware store way out here, they didn't have what I was looking for but to be fair, it was super random it's just on back order. Very pleasant conversation and quality assistance

Very disgusted at this store. I went there last Thursday with two $50 gift cards to spend. I wandered around the store for an hour and found $106 worth of items. At the register the clerk informed me that the gift cards were declined. I assured her there was $50 on each of them. She called over a supervisor who tried the exact same thing..and again, denied. The supervisor informed me that there was nothing she could do and I would need to pay for my items with another payment method. I informed them that the cards are good and all they need to do is call the number on the back. They refused. I left. I called the store on Friday to speak to the owner. Apparently he was unavailable. I spoke with and employee named Joe who apologized and said the staff didn't do something correctly(obviously), claimed their I.T. guy has been on vacation(How is that my problem?) and had he been there he would have known what to do(Again, why am I taking the punishment for this owners employees not being trained correctly). Joe did inform me that he would have the owner call me back ASAP so we can rectify the situation. It is the following Tuesday and I still have heard nothing from the owner. Be wary of this location and any other "Gui's Lumber" locations. Apparently its the customers fault he does not train his staff correctly.

These guys are the Best! They will go above and beyond to help you as a good neighbor would. Most times, the employees will walk you to any item to help find it. (Cause I'm blind in most stores;). Plus, they offer to bring heavy items out to the car and load them. I prefer my local Ace Hardware, aka Gui's Lumber to any other stores offering the same products.

They always have their sale items in stock, and I've never gone there for anything and found out that they were out of stock of anything. If their website says that have it at the store, they always have it there.
