Dr.Holly is the most amazing vet I have ever met. She is absolutely wonderful with our small pup 🐶 and very informative and precise in all diagnosis. Our pup is living her best life with an amazing vet by her side! The receptionist there are so friendly and hilarious. They treat my pup like their own too! I never want to switch vets!

A great place to bring your pet. Dr. Holly is amazing. I have an anxious rescue dog that can be aggressive with strangers, so she is on the chill protocol for vet visits. The staff is well-trained and let me handle her while there for our visit. They make it as stress-free and as quick as possible while still doing a thorough exam. Can’t say enough good things about Dr. Holly. She puts me and my dog at ease when we’re there.

I love Chathams Small Animal Hospital! Everyone is always friendly and you can tell they love their jobs. My dog is always super excited to be there. Of course sitting on the floor with her and giving her small treats during the exam help, but basically she is just happy to be with them. And I like that the doctors are quite thorough and very knowledgeable.

Dr. Etherington rocks! She takes time to answer our questions, gives us the recent research to back her decisions, and is so gentle and kind with our pup. And the techs there truly care, which is huge! One stood between our pup and an aggressive visitor to keep him safe!

I absolutely love Chathams Small Animal Hospital! All of the staff are kind and so helpful. They are patient with all of my pets and especially with me and my many, many questions. Dr. Catherine has been wonderful with my animals and was especially good at taking her time with my deaf dog and helped him to feel comfortable and pain free during his last days. It meant a lot to me to know that he was with a vet who truly understood his special needs and cared about him. I have had visits with all of the vets at CSAH and highly recommend every one of them.

Overly pricey. Don’t even try to get a change on appointment date or time. Front desk staff is well versed in saying NO! They don’t operate like other vets who distract a dog with peanut butter or cheese whiz on a tongue depressor while getting shots. I don’t recommend this facility and pulled my pups out. C’YA!! They’ll tell you they’re short staffed yet open until 7 pm on some nights. Excuses, excuses. And they do price gouge. $23.00 for a nail trim, c’mon!

We have been bringing all our pets to CSAH (including an iguana and parakeets!) for decades. We wouldn’t go anywhere else or trust anyone else with our pets. All the staff is friendly, compassionate and professional. Dr. Stefani has been our Vet for many years now and recently treated our 19 year old Ragdoll cat and spent quite a bit of time with her…and us. We know our cat and two dogs are in the BEST hands from the moment we walk through the door. I can’t say enough about the care given by this wonderful practice. 💕🐾

What a refreshing experience! I have utilized two other local vets and am considering switching completely to Chathams Small Animal Hospital after my pre-opt experience for my labs Spay through the Friends of Animals Program. We look forward to her getting spayed there.The Doctor spent an extended amount of time talking about our Ruby and the Lab Breed in general as she is our first lab while at our Pre-opt appointment. I enjoyed this repport building and truly appreciate the insight she provided to me.During our time she also discussed an old injury Ruby had to her toe when a puppy after first born. The insight and second opinion really helped put puzzles pieces together and made connecting the dots easier than our first opinion from another vet on the injury.I look forward to continuing to work with them. Have also referred them to my cousin for their Great Dane to be neutered there as well!They truly seem to be a step above & this I appreciate with our beloved dogs!

I am always happy with the staff in the hospital. The great care, concern and patience Dr. Holly has with my cat Honey makes it easier to understand and lessens any worries I may have with Honey's care. The staffing there are also pleasant and helpful. I have taken Honey to Chatham Small Animal Hospital for many years and friends who share my same feelings regarding staffing and Dr. Holly. Thank you Dr. Holly for taking your time with Honey's Examination while explaining to me what you are seeing what I should or should not be concerned with and if you see something, thank you for explaining how I need to take care of it.

My pup had been struggling for years with chronically itchy skin. Our first visit to Chathams Small Animal Hospital proved to be the best move yet. The Dr listened to me, was knowledgeable in her diagnosis and the treatment worked within an hour. I am so grateful for my dog’s relief and to have found such a great clinic!

I have been bringing my sweet girl Lola here since I got her in April 2021. As anyone knows there are a lot of appointments at first when you get a puppy,so we went there several times those first several months. We have always had a good experience. Now we just need to go for her once a year checkups,but I also continue to get her pedicures there because she doesn’t like me touching her nails yet does great for them and genuinely loves going there. She loves them so much she gets more excited than ever when we pull into the drive leading up to the building. They’re always incredibly understanding and accommodating when I’ve needed to reschedule an appointment or when I’ve wanted to space out her vaccines and just do a couple at a time then come back the following month for more. Can’t recommend them enough from receptionists to vet techs to vets. Great experience for 2.5 years now and counting

I originally began taking my cats here because this was the only place that honored the Friends of Animals lost cost spay and neuter certificates near me. I ended up transferring all my pets here though because they care, they take time to explain things and they always give options. They have been understanding any time I was concerned about costs, and I love how no matter I never feel like I am being judged. The staff are always friendly and show genuine care for my pets.

Sadly on Halloween day we had to lay our sweet angel Paris to rest. She was the sweetest little thing. She was a mini Pomeranian that only weighed 7 pounds and was 13 year's old. All the other vets miss diagnosed her. By the time I got her to Chatham she was in the final stages of chronic bronchitis and collapsing trachea.The did everything they could for her and us and gave us another year with her. But on Halloween day it was time to let her go and no more suffering of coughing and fighting to breathe.On that day the compassion that was showed to us and Paris was unbelievable. I can not say enough but the whole staff there. I will never take my pets anywhere else in this world. All the staff there showed compassion from the minute we walked in. Just truly amazing place and staff. The knowledge also of the vets and explaining everything and all options. They are NOT about the money, they actually care and help every way.Tysm for all you do... Kim Johnson

They push vaccines even when you say no thank you. They push you to spend as much as you can there. Couldn't even tell me the side effects of the vaccine they were insisting my 3 month old kitten gets

These folks have always been great in everything they do, for which I could go into great detail. What's inspired me to write this review today is the sympathy card I just received for my sweet boy Lucky's passing. It appears that every staff member signed it and includes tiny wildflower seeds I can spread in remembrance of him. This consoling gesture is very moving and will not be forgotten.
