The experience was awful! This is the second time trying to fill a prescription. The most recent visit, the person at the pharmacy counter just said “date of birth” I gave the I formation and immediately said the prescriptions are not ready. I just called a 1/2 hour prior and the customer service rep said one of the two were ready. However, when I arrived nothing was ready. This is after calling and standing there on a slow moving line. Very unprofessional and discourteous. I see from the reviews this is an ongoing complaint that needs to be addressed.

The absolute WORST pharmacy! They will put you on hold indefinitely any time you call, or they'll literally just hang up. The entire staff needs to be terminated and replaced with employees that are considerate to the fact that they are dealing with medications that are vital to the health and well-being of others. There is always a problem, and they are constantly closing early for their lunch break. Can they not simply stagger their break times like every other customer service occupation.

Literally do not go here for the pharmacy. They are always behind schedule. You have to call and push them to fill it. They always have you waiting 15-20 minute to speak to someone. And their estimate is always wrong. Takes me days even weeks to get my medication. One time I was waiting to get a medicine that was “out of stock” and I didn’t hear anything for a week. Called and they said “oh, not sure what happened, I see the medicine is still sitting in the warehouse”. Great…because it’s asthma medication, guess I won’t be breathing for the next few days. Worst pharmacy and I wouldn’t recommend it to my worst enemy.

Same to other posts, my record was transferred to this location due to a nearby Walgreens store closure. My Rx was finally filled after a whole week of multiple calls and in-person visits. This is life and death situation and this pharmacy DOES NOT care. I see law suits coming their way. I am also calling FDA to file a compliant too. They don't deserved to be in this business. Thank you Walgreens for spiting on customers and business.

Wow, this place is terrible. Recently switched pharmacies from CVS to Walgreens, unfortunately the one in East Meadow closed and my two experiences with Bellmore have been terrible. First time I went to pick up a prescription, weekday before the lunch rush, I must have waited on line about a half hour. While I waited all I heard was other customers complaining about having to wait, their prescription not being filled, etc. So now experience number 2, placed an order this past Tuesday for a different script, app said it would be ready Thursday, well now it’s Friday night and was “still in process”, realizing how right those customers were, I never in the years I went to CVS had this issue with this prescription. Guess I’ll be trying a different location with hopes this one will have the competency of the East Meadow one that unfortunately closed???

Absolutely worst pharmacy ever! If I can give them negative Stars I would. From the long waits in line to never having anything ready even though you got a phone call saying things were ready. To the rude attitudes of the staff that work there. I've been going here for 10 years and I'm done! Within the last year every single time I've walked in there I've had nothing but issues, along with nasty unhelpful staff. They actually tried to close the gate on my face at 1: 30pm because they were going for lunch, but meanwhile it was my second time in there to pick up a prescription that should have been ready and I was told would be ready days ago. I would never recommend this place to anybody.

In the time it took me waiting on line waiting for the techs to log into the computer, the 300 pound lady at the counter with her 90 pound pocketbook looking for her insurance card then waiting for her to find out her insurance is canceled with the other 5 people waiting for the medication their Drs sent over hours ago my strep throat healed on its own and I did not need my medication by the time I was called to the counter. That’s how long things take here. Bye

Doctor calls in a prescription Thursday , I called 3 times for status , actually spoke to someone Frdau who said they’re working on it. Called back today( Saturday )and they tell me nobody entered it into the system : maybe it will be ready Sunday after 11. You take 90 pills from a big bottle and put them in a small bottle , why 4 days ??Called back today for my prescription status and they said it’ll be ready tomorrow after 11. That’s what they said Friday , Saturday and again Sunday . Is it all Walgreens or just this one ?

Dr. Austin Johnson was very helpful when I was having issues with my doctors prescription. He went out of his way taking the time and care to make sure my medication was correct and did not have any interactions with other medication I was on. He is a life saver!

this particular pharmacy isn't customer oriented at all. they call and tell you your medication will be available the next day and or isn't true. as the customer I call to f/u and find out no such order was placed and to call the next day to see if it is available. now I have to search for another pharmacy and still out of medication

The wait for prescriptions is days. Whenever I have a prescription sent there I have to call and tell them that I need to have it filled if I want it that day. If you call the pharmacy you are on hold sometimes for hours until someone picks up. The pharmacy staff have told me that they are understaffed and at times have over 400 - yes 400 prescriptions waiting to be filled. Totally unacceptable and inconsiderate! Shame on Walgreens!!!!

Same as other reviews. Pharmacy is simply broken. They don’t answer a call and don’t fill your prescription. They admit they are understaffed and that the existing staff threatens to walk out. Do not use this pharmacy.

There has never been a more rude, disrespectful, unprofessional, pharmacy anywhere. Between withholding medication, that they have no control over. Other than they Personally choose to. Examp: withholding vital life saving medication after being discharged from a hospital for a surgery. I hope you don't need your life saving medication, the pharmacists will just stand there and watch you expire in front of them. As they use the store phone for their private conversations with their friends, instead of answering customer phone calls. If you wonder why you are forever on hold.. AKA male blond pharmacist.... Please everyone do your self a favor and go to a real drug store.... I respectable one such as CVS

So because the family owned pharmacy no longer takes my insurance, I was forced to use walgreens again. It's absolutley even worse than 6 months ago. I have had to call and beg for them to fill my prescription. They say its back order and it would be in on a certain day. Then they change my status of my prescription to something that isn't even relevant. I had my dr call in and still didn't lift the need to review your script with provider hold. You have to be on hold for hours for someone to help you. Either get more people working or come up with a better system. Everyone I ask has the same problems and absolutley hates using walgreens as their pharmacy. I finally get a live person and there like oh well fill it for you today like they are doing me a favor and didn't have me wait 5-6 days to be filled. This was after making me wait 4 days for my birth control because they wanted to give me a 3 month supply even though my Dr wanted one month. So because they took it upon themselves to change my script, and they never made contact with my Dr. I couldn't take my BC on time.

This Walgreens pharmacy is superb compared to 3 other Walgreens I have been to. They are courteous, patient, kind and very professional. It's almost as nice as a mom & pop drug store. Wait time on the phone isn't too bad. I highly recommend this pharmacy.

This pharmacy is the absolute worse!! They do not answer the phone!! Or they pick up phone then hang up. They told me my prescription was not covered by my insurance which was not true. It took me 3 days to get that straight. After being told my Rx was ready I went to pick it up only to be told they need another 15 minutes. Which was not true!! I waited 45 minutes The night I was there there was a long line of people waiting over an hour to get a flu shot. Which they had an appointment for. Ridiculous!! Will not be going there ever again.

The pharmacy is an absolute disaster. I've been attempting to fill prescriptions there for a year three months ago I go to pick up my prescription, no we don't have the medication last mo. My doc. Sends In the prescription a week early I go to pick it up we don't have it I'll order it for next week. Knowing I'm out of the medication 5 days ago I go speak to the pharmacist who assures she left a message for the manager about the medication I call them today .they know nothing about it we don't have it we can order it for next week STAY AWAY . I’ve been going to this pharmacy for almost 8 years to get my epileptic son medication. It used to be nice and friendly when Frank was working there, now it’s terrible, it’s always a hassle to get my son medication. Majority of the times I’ve to come back twice for his medication due to the pharmacy don’t have his monthly supply. It’s becoming a habit for this pharmacy to give me 5 days, or 10 days supply for a 30 days medication. I never had a problem going back twice for his meds. What I do have a problem with that his pharmacy is charging me double the amount of copay for my son 30 day supply, 2 weeks ago I was there to uplift for my son medication, same story, this time I got 20 days supply of medication, I paid my copay which was $40. Came back yesterday the pharmacy charge me another $40 for 10 pills, let me make this clear, $40 is my monthly copay for this specific drug. It’s not my fault this pharmacy didn’t have the entire 30 days supply, so why do I pay to $80 dollars copay instead of $40??My advice to others stay the hell away from this pharmacy. I’m will be taking my business somewhere else.

I came here for the flu vaccine and proceeded to wait 45 minutes while the middle-aged female pharmacist talked to an elderly couple about everything from their prior health history to what their insurance company was upselling them on other vaccines to their grandchildren to to their favorite movies to what Long Island looked like in the 1970s. I was the only other person in line, but that didn't matter. We all needed to hear their opinions on whether this area needs a skate park for their little Timmy to play in! I finally gave up and left. Really unprofessional.....if I wanted to wait an hour for a vaccine, I'd go to the doctor's office. But Walgreen's doesn't even have doctors administering their vaccines, but mere pharmacists.Even the cashiers who work here look like weird troglodytes. The last time I was here around 10 pm, some young kid shot me an angry look for daring to bring my items to his counter for payment.

Warning Why is Walgreens pretending to help with the Covid vaccinations as well as testing. They have made it impossible for anyone to logon or to get information. CVS and Rite Aid I doing a great job. At least they’re not lying to the public

I don’t understand why this pharmacy needs a full 24+ hours to fill a prescription? It’s in stock… Aren’t prescriptions supposed to be ready in a few hours?? This pharmacy is a complete disaster.
