Today I experienced an employee talking about me to two coworkers because I made her physically show me where an item is located She thought she was going to send me across the store on a scavenger hunt She bullied me at the register, I left everything and ran out of there screaming. This was by far the most unprofessional encounter I’ve ever experienced, to pick a fight and fuel an argument with a customer is unsafe This location needs new management, coaching, and a tighter uniform dress code. The yellow bodycon dress left nothing to the imagination it was really hard to look at. Name tags should be mandatory.

I walked in and immediately was slapped in the face with a smell of cat piss! 🤮 I walked a little more into the store, thinking maybe it was someone on the front of the store! NOPE! The smell got worse!! Then when I came up to the meats and saw how they looked I walked right out!! I left about 10min ago and my nose is still burning from that awful smell!! What a shame that they let that store get like that!!

Update: Received a cosmetic update, but is the same store with a pretty face. Bottle return is now outdoors and far from the entrance, coolers are the same (problematic) ones from two decades ago. Lowered rating for faking newer equipment, no cashiers at all and an outdoor/inconvenient bottle return.For a grand reopening called makeover, it is a disappointment for local shoppers to have them make it harder to enjoy the store and call it an improvement.

Had to pay my electric bill. Went to the customer service desk on a Friday morning. There was already another customer waiting. Another customer showed up behind me, waited too long, and left. Another 2 customers show up.I called the store to see if anyone was working the desk. When a woman answered, I explained that there were multiple customers waiting at customer service and there was no one there. She rudely cut me off and told me she was going to call someone and hung up on me.I'm sorry that your business isn't employing someone at the customer service desk, but that is not my fault as the customer.This seems to be a common trend amongst all Tops employees

So tired of this place. The store is dirty and generally unkempt. While I understand that it's very difficult right now to hire good employees, this store has always had rude, unpleasant, unprofessional front line staff. How about a hello, how are you? How about uttering a single word when I need a copy of my receipt because your machine is out of paper? Avoid this store at all costs. It could be a great store but obviously ownership and management could care less. Great job guys!

Former employee here. I just want to make working conditions very clear to any potential applicants. Do not apply. Seriously, if you find yourself stuck looking for a new job, find somewhere else. This location genuinely does not care about you or your work/life balance. Things have gone so down hill over the past few years. If I was writing this in, say, 2016? I would have very different things to say. If you are a hardworking employee, you will most likely do all of the work. Especially if you work in the front end. Most of the employees are younger kids. 14-17. They do not care, they refuse to do any work and are never reprimanded for it.Now onto the customers. If you want to be screamed at by the elderly on a daily basis for things that are completely out of your control all for the hourly wage of $13.25 an hour, this is the perfect place for you. In the eyes of the customers, it is your fault if:A.) The self checkout isnt working properly (It almost never is. The machines are ancient.)B.) Their food stamps card isn’t working.C.) We no longer have shopping baskets (They were all stolen by customers)D.) There are no registers open after 9:30pm (Seriously, the amount of people over the age of 45 that threw temper tantrums because they had to scan their own items using self checkout is STUNNING. If you are one of those customers, please seek therapy. I mean it, you are a literal child)If it wasn’t clear before, let me reiterate. This store is awful. Period. The job itself is fairly easy, however, the customers and some of the management make it an absolutely abhorrent place to work. I cried in my car during some of my breaks because of how I was treated by customers specifically. Thank you for reading.

I like this store most workers are very friendly. Nice and clean. There is a young lady that is there that everytime I go she looks unhappy or something. I have not seen this girl smile one time, all the times I been there. Sometimes it's like should I ask her a question or I don't even want to approach her...usefully at self check out..

This location is great for a quick shopping trip. However, it is a small store and does not have the options that larger stores do. Also, the produce section is severely lacking.

It was 5:30 pm on a weekday and they only had the 4 self-checkout open! The line wound back though the isles and was getting longer and longer. There was just one attendant, who I had to physically go get because she was distracted at her station as I hit the call button at the terminal 4 times and did not get her attention.It was not a pleasant visit for me or the many other grumbling customers, which were a mix of mom's with kids, shoppers with full carts, seniors and those trying to just get their items and go home after work.

I used to work here. There are a few workers that work there to this day when I was working there that I am still friends with.Then 1 day I got hurt on the job back in 2015-2016. I never recieved worker's comp papers which I should have. They marked me down as a preexisting back condition and I was basically forced to be let go because they can always find another me right? And I had to be able to lift 50lbs.or more. No big deal🤷‍♂️ Over the passed few years my mother has passed away and I've been struggling with income since then. My back still hurts from disc hernias and disc degeneration since 2016. Which I didn't have a "preexisting back condition"because why would you hire somebody to lift 50lbs.or more?? No income since then. No income now. The situation could've been handled differently. Not a good store to work at. At least I thought it wasActually the rating should be ZERO stars

A worker didn't know how to tell me how much money I had left on my Food stamps was very ignorant as I told him I had Food stamps and cash I purposely purchased all items for 5.00 off my total purchase I ended up cashing a 100. Bill to pay for all groceries was supposed to get free cheese I asked if he could get someone to get the cheese and his name is Michael gave me the coupon back said there was nothing he could do for me kept apologizing for taking so long with me embarrassing me like I was just a person not even a costomer

I stop here all the time after work and theres always something inconvenient happening. Never enough registers open or the Express lane is closed. Sometimes shelves are not stocked or weird customers. It's not the greatest Tops but everyone is always nice. There is also always a help wanted sign on the door so I think if they had more staff it would resolve many of the issues.

I go because it's close to home. If I need something fast I can run in and out, but I don't prefer this Tops over the others. It's very small, doesn't always have what you need (even basics), and sometimes the lines are incredibly long.Quality of food is okay-ish... I've seen a lot of rotten fruits and veggies sitting on shelves, but otherwise things are relatively fresh.

Generally high prices and a poor selection, coupled with several unpleasant interactions with staff, make this location one of my least favorite places to shop. I’ve also found that Tops doesn’t maintain their produce departments and cleanliness standards up to other area grocery stores. Just drive down the road to a Wegmans instead.

It's a nice store for a short trip. There are normally not enough registers open and there are a couple cashiers that really need a review in customer service. Very snippy but the rest of the staff more than make up for them. They are very friendly and knowledgeable.

The only plus of the place - it was working late during pandemic craze.Self checkout usually takes more time than shopping itself. The system is faulty and outdated. Actually you cannot go through it without assistance in most cases.Gas station is outdated and needs strong renovation.

They seem to jack up their prices just so they can make their sales look like a good deal. Plus their sales are designed to encourage you to buy multiples of an item when you'd normally only buy one. Often not enough cashier's.

Outdated like most Tops, however this location gets huge props for its location, which is between all the other major stores. If you’re just looking for a few things and they’re basic items it’s worth stopping here as opposed to braving the clusterf*ck of busier locations. It’s never busy which is also a bonus.

I really can't pinpoint why I hate this location. It could be the layout, which I find very confusing and strange. It could also be that the bathrooms are literally in the workers lounge area, and that it's a maze just to pee.. Or the unknowing feeling as if I was about to be mugged.I would like to add that I hate being lied to.. telling a customer that they can't pay with a $100 bill is ridiculous. Any store, doesn't matter what type should be able to account for any kind of bill that a paying customer is trying to pay with. Regardless of the what time it is, or the amount of their total amount. Boggles my mind.

My local Tops. Not the newest or cleanest, the staff is very friendly and super helpful. Stock is good, and generally get you checked out really fast.Would recommend a store revamo and some new carts.

Fruit selection always over ripe and overpriced especially considering its always beat up and over ripe. Meat is poor quality and always priced as if its from an expensive butcher. Backed up lines always.But you have fresh chicken liver so ill keep coming back.
