I come here at least once a month to get hay and/or food for my guinea pigs. I will also get treats for my cats. They have so much stuff. The workers are all friendly. There are also two cats who live in the store, and they are the sweeetest cats ever. They like to follow me around and climb all over me.

The staff always find time to offer advice above and beyond. You may wait your turn, but it's worth the time knowing the product is accurate. We brought back our 5-year fantail goldfish several times, thanks to them.

My husband & I just bought a beautiful juvenile ball python at blackwings. All the animals here are very well taken care of. The store is clean & well organized. The guy running the place was friendly & knowledgeable about his animals. He cares about the well being & over all health of every animal in the store. I would give this place 10 stars if I could.

I bought a bird from here and a week later it died suddenly. I took it back to get my money back almost $300 and because I was one day over the week limit they couldn't give me my money. The man then tried to blame ME for the birds death when I had a second bird froma different pet store same age doing just fine. I also never had issues like this before. The bird was just getting used to the new environment and cage there was in no way it could have been my fault. He was rude and completely disrespectful. I will never support this store again

Went for my first time today and was pleasantly surprised. The staff is very friendly and welcoming from the moment you walk in. They have a very good variety for every pet. The best part is they only seemed to carry high quality food and supplies. I purchased cat food and was thrilled at their huge selection of high end brands and had so much to choose from. It gives you ease of mind when choosing different things when you know it’s all quality stuff. As a pet owner I appreciate a really good pet store!

It’s cool they give free stuff after spending $20 for spca dogs but it’d be even cooler if their cat didn’t claw my dogs face and make her bleed. Dog was minding her own business then their store cat ran up to her and scratched her then continued to follow us around the store. Cats nail was stuck in my dogs nose, noticed when we got to the car

They only have one person to clip guinea pigs nails. The guy is off for two days, what if God forbid something happens to the man that leaves him not able to work. This place needs employees with all skills handling animals. Customer service was great

Very friendly and very knowledgeable staff here. All great not a bad attitude in the place. They carry the healthy foods not even the major pet stores absolutely should carry that I like to feed my pets. Which to be honest I did not expect not even chewy has it . My four legged children thank you with a woof woof and a meow meow. Not sure what a fish would say maybe a bubbly bubbly..!!

LOVE this shop! Employees are always super friendly. They always have my cat's food in stock...and a rewards program! For every 12 bags of cat food I buy, I get a free one. Their in-house cat is pretty groovy. He's usually chilling in the middle of the floor waiting for a belly rub. Awesome locally owned place!

They have so many items the big box stores don't seem to carry such as sift rings to put around an animal's neck to protect wounds or even various flavors imof wild bird suet.

Love the guy manager of the place. Greets me and my doggo anytime I swing by. His customer service is 10/10, as are his communication skills. However, the heifer who works there is a whole weirdo. Profiling me and my friend who is also known to come w me anytime we go there. Like sweetheart, I spend $60-$200 easily anytime I step in the store. If you weren’t busy profiling black customers you’d notice that. Ain’t nobody about to steal nor have I ever. Not sure how she even still has a job. Better her working at a pet store profiling than to be a cop profiling I guess, bc we see where your mind at. If you think no one can’t afford what they have in their hand, pay for it since you like hawking blck ppl.

Unfortunately we're from Ohio so we won't be back anytime soon. Angie was so incredibly helpful. We don't have pet stores that carry raw dog food options where we live, so I had so many questions about incorporating raw to our pups' diets. Angie was very knowledgeable and answered all of my questions. I also enjoyed hanging out with Loki and Thor, the shop kitties! 😸

Owner is beyond ignorant! Always rude! Almost on a monthly basis I have had bulbs I buy from here blow. I'm constantly buying new ones and when I brought it to her attention she told me to shop somewhere else. For months they didn't even have bulbs blaming it on the company. I contacted the company and was told to go back to the store with my issues. So I did, just to be talked to ignorantly. Pets plus in lockport always has everything and it's cheaper so I will gladly take that drive from now on.

I love the store, they've been a local treasure since I was a child. rated 3 stars because they seem not to care about the availability of frozen mice for feeding. They never seem to have any frozen mice in the size I need when I visit and since they're one of only 2 pet stores in the area, it forces me to go to the corporate chain pet store instead of supporting this local business. Also allows the chain store to set a monopoly on prices.

Very helpful . I was in the hurry , so she went and showed me where the items was. Good variety. Freeze dried items , toys, pretty much from everything a few items. A little pricey but I think that's Niagara falls altogether.

BEST pet store!! I Love Everyone who works there and love love LOVE seeing the kitties up for adoption! Everyone there treats you so well and they are always so nice and helpful! In my opinion, always better to buy from a local place that you know the money stays here and to help animals here, rather than a huge corporation that very little gets returned.
