5 miles away from this location is Tops in Wrights Corners... It's worth the drive.A *certain person in a certain department* litterally admitted not wanting to work there and didn't like the job (why should anyone EVER say this to a customer? I didnt even ask you about your job!). Couldn't answer any of my questions and didn't seem to know much for having been employed there for "years".One guy stocking shelves was helpful and friendly (much appreciated!). There were two male cashiers, very rude and unprofessional. The gal overseeing them had to tell them to knock off their behavior.They rarely have what you want and always have to settle for something different or close to what you want and then it's overpriced anyway.Store is cramped and isles are narrow. They need to revamp this place.

The young man over seeing the self checkout lanes is unprofessional and extremely rude. You're not over seeing a space shuttle launch, it's a stand and watch customers do the job you should be doing job. Time for some customer service training Violet.

The isles are too small when asking a employee for help they should be willing.Shawna my instacart customers already pay over price they should get there monopoly tickets They do not belong to you!!! Also maybe a helper for the cashier or next time Shawna could have helped the poor elderly cashier at the register! Ridiculous

Stopped to order a custom cake for my wife's birthday, and our anniversary, on January 1st!Met with a man at the deli counter who took me order and helped with suggestions, and even went so far as to set up a meeting between the person who is actually going to make the cake on order to go over the details.He was very helpful and went out of his way to help me make this special for my wonderful wife after a very hard year!I would recommend this market for everyday shopping, and even more, if you need a custom cake made just the way YOU want it done!The people here go above and beyond to make sure their customers are satisfied AND safe!!!The place is spotless!

For a smaller version of Top's but with all the basic necessities plus a full deli and bakery, you can't go wrong, especially in a small Village. I knock off one star, as I would for every Top's because I find them a bit pricey. Even so, there's always coupons. The hours of operation have most everyone covered and the worker's are friendly.

I have shopped at this tops for years and have never experienced any issues but tonight my two friends and I who are 15 year old minors went to this establishment at around 8pm to go get a few snacks for a sleepover. We were deeply disturbed when one of the older male managers began to follow us around. No, we were not stealing, nor were we causing a raucous, we were simply walking around trying to figure out what snacks to buy, the man began to follow us around and intensely stare at us. We figured this was just a normal manager walking around until he began to follow us down isles and around the entire store, hiding behind shelves and racks and staring at us. We then quickly just grabbed a few snacks, and went straight to the checkout area. The man stood there and made DIRECT eye contact with us while standing there staring at us. We bought our snacks and left. When we got home we immediately explained to our mother what had happened, and she called them and asked for the manager. She spoke with him and he was dumb founded, stuttering and all. He stated he was detailing the store and that he had someone talk to us and ask if we needed help with anything, which did not happen. If you plan on going to this establishment I do not recommend going by yourself and please bring an adult, as we were extremely uncomfortable.

More of a glorified convenient store. Don't carry all items in Sale flyer. Staff complaining all the time... Run down store. Public bathroom is hidden near the meat area...have to walk thru associates break room. It's dirty

Limited stock because it's smaller. Basically you pack your own bags now and there are no self service cash outs. So you basically collect all your items at the end, pay in between your labor and get rushed out because the next guy is getting rung up ....Update: they now have 4 self service checkouts.

Always clean and shelves are stocked nicely they put in self checkouts. Always find what i need from this tops location. Associates are friendly very fast at check lanes.

Produce selection not the greatest. It’s basically a mini grocery store but nice to have right in small town I guess

Went there after work at 5:30 on a weekday to get something for lunches the next day. Deli was closed. Also got some items a couple weeks ago and they only had the self checkout lanes open. No cashiers. Well excuse me but I am not one of their employees and do not get paid to check myself out. Maybe if they offered a discount? That and they stopped carrying the brand of dog food we buy and have to go to Wrights Corners or Lockport Tops now.

Used to visit frequently until they added the self checkout. At 9 o'clock at night you are the only one in the store. The cashier should have a line open, not the self checkout.

This Tops is ok if you just need something basic, but the store is so small that a lot of times they don't even carry something advertised in their weekly add. Staff at this store also seem less knowledgeable about their own registers, coupon policies etc than other Tops stores clerks.

This our 'go to' store in the area. It's small, but easy to shop here. The staff is always nice and accommodating. They smile and and warm and friendly. Honestly, you don't see that much anymore.They have an office for customer service. Stamps, lotto, questions, returns.Atm and check cashing.It's a great store with dinner ready food, deli, everything the big stores have.

Out of a lot of stuff even before the pandemic. It's alright for people living in newfane to grab a couple quick groceries. If your going to shop for a big list chances are they'll not have specific things your looking for. Wrights corners tops is alot better, Lockport tops is even better

Small Tops. Not a huge selection but a nice thing to have out in our rural area. Wish there were more accessible restrooms and that you didn't have to use the deli to get olives! Great deals on meat.

This is a little Tops. Started off good, but it been few years now and they don't have enough help. Wait in long lines most of the time. They don't have everything a big Tops has. Which is flustrating because then you have to run to the bigger Tops. The lunch meat doesn't last only for a few days so we don't buy it there anymore. Doughnuts and bakes good aren't as good as the other Tops stores. Sorry but it needs work!

Poor quality all over, long lines....Terrible produce dept. They fry chicken once a week? Veggies and fruits seem to always be bad. But now I have to go and buy eggs. It's like a 7/11. Whomever the mgr is should be fired

Very upset with an employee at this location. His name is connor. Today my husband went there with our daughter. My husband is a disabled vet and suffers with extreme ptsd. This cashier was horribly rude to the customer before him and when got to my husband, their was an issue with his card. My husband apologizes obviously emabarrassed. Connor then proceeds to yell through the store that my husband has inconvenienced him because he doesnt have money on his card. It goes on from there. Pretty sure i will be filing a complaint about this employee.

Lov my Tops , a part of down home country goodness! Did holiday foodies , and bought some to take home 4 variety cake selection was uptown my expectations ... kudos to all along the line of manufacturing that one ! After many years I made it bake home to see my mother and half my brothers and sisters bought the cake to share , ty it was a nice top off with coffee .

Well this is an old store, it's time for a facelift I thinkIng, inside and out. there are times when tons of people are in there and only one register open other times there's nobody in there and two registers open I don't get it but it needs to be cleaned better than what it is now.this is only my opinion. thank you

My visit to tops in Newfane on 6/15/17 wasn't bad, produce is much better than other times that I've been in the store where the vegetables should have been in the dumpster and not for sale.👍👍keep up with stock of edible products please.You'll get more stars as I visit your store and are able to get edible produce every time ,hope it continues cause the store is conveniently close.

Store selection is horrible. The meat is all diffrent colors theres only 1 cashier every time I got there. Spend more time in line than shopping. I no longer shop here unless its for small things.

I've always found great service and help with the workers; and the produce and items at this location are just as good as other bigger tops stores, it might be a smaller store with limited choices but they always have what my family needs.

Very time I go to by fresh fruit I have to dig through berries that have mold on them,and soft/bad apples and melons. Don't stop when your in a hurry, usually long line with a maximum of two cashier's.
