Definitely a cute, and delicious spot to get lunch in Newcomb. The food was very good, and everyone enjoyed it. I definitely would of rather the bread be wheat than white… I wish they had different bread options.I loved that there was a choice of sides… and the variety in dressings for the side salad.I have heard that their breakfast is really good… which I didn’t try, but I believe is good.The atmosphere is cute… very clean and casual.I would definitely come back again when I am in Newcomb again. :)

Great little spot for camping! The campground stays open past Labor Day/Columbus Day, when many of the state run DEC campgrounds are closed. I enjoyed some tent camping here in October 2020 and though it was cold, I warmed up with a hot shower and delicious breakfast at the Cafe in the morning. The owners are great and called me to confirm my arrival time in advance, and give directions to my tent spot, where to park, etc.

We loved camping here . It’s a small , family run campground. The owners are so friendly and do an amazing job of keeping the campground spotless. We brought our grandkids here last year and they loved it as well . They named a frog they found in our tent “Jimmy” after one of the owners . There are seasonal sites available as well as short term camper and tent sites. The cafe is wonderful as well . Delicious food presented in a way you’d not expect in a small town cafe .

Such a cute campground and Cafe. We came for the Teddy Roosevelt Celebration. The campsite is just what we expected. Peaceful and wooded. The food in the cafe was delicious. People are friendly and the price is right. Glad we came.

Cute small town cafe with a little store within next to the campground. My youngest and I stopped in for lunch after a nice Autumn Equinox Hike. We both ordered the Mt Marcy Burger, highly recommend!!

Second trip to Newcomb Cafe in 10days! First time was for breakfast n this trip was for lunch. Both visits were thoroughly enjoyed by our group of six. The service was great (friendly n attentive), the food was worth the drive from Chestertown (we ride Spyders, so a ride in the ADK's is always a bonus)The food is well prepared, good portions and fresh.We will be back again, I am sure,before the summer is over.

We stayed in the campground and went to the cafe a few times during our stay. It was absolutely wonderful, every time. The cafe was really charming, very tastefully decorated, welcoming, clean. The staff was absolutely wonderful - not only were they attentive, but they went above and beyond (tenting my meal with tin foil when I had to step outside for a moment). And the food was superb! Way better than your average diner. The baked goods were phenomenal (especially the biscuits), and you can tell they source really quality ingredients. Sometimes when you order a fruit bowl at a diner, it's sad & flavorless; theirs had tons of different fruit & was fresh and ripe... which was a blessing after having been in the woods for 10 days. The sausage gravy was amazing, too. And on top of that, they have a really sweet little camp store (essentials only, including local eggs!) and gift shop, with a really small but wonderfully curated collection of things. Going to this little cafe was one of the highlights of our trip.

Whether you’re in town for the weekend or just passing through, you must stop here and grab a bite! You will not be disappointed!We had lunch here after playing a round of golf and the food was fantastic! The atmosphere is great and the owners are super friendly.Without a doubt, the best Panini’s around!!We will definitely be back.

The food was really good and The owners and family were very welcoming. We sat on the back deck. The panini I had was wonderful. The unsweetened ice tea was perfectly brewed. Stop by if you are looking for good food. We were on our motorcycles and parking is easy.

Look no further than this place for an awesome breakfast when you are in the area. 6 of us had a super feed of omelets and a breakfast special of more items than I can remember. The entire staff made sure we never had less than a half a cup of coffee. The town supervisor happened to be there and gave us tips and offered up the town's hospitality. Great way to send us off into an Essex Chain of Lakes kayak trip!

Food was great!! The staff is so kind, friendly and welcoming. I felt like I was home for lunch. I was happy that they had a vegan Beyond Burger on the menu. Saved the day because I was camping locally and it rained all day.

We had the pleasure of staying at the Newcomb Cafe and Campground for 5 days last week. It was a roomy yet cozy campground, quiet and peaceful and dark. Jimmy and Troy are the owners and they work very hard to make sure all are comfortable and have what they need to make the stay enjoyable. We ate at the cafe a few times and there they were, cooking and working tables with their competent and friendly staff. It was such a delightful stay, and we recommend this place to everyone who may be traveling through the area. Well done, guys!

We had a wonderful stay at the campground. The sites are cozy and wooded. The campground was very clean and quiet. Our family had breakfast our last morning and it was delicious. The fresh fruit bowl was actual fresh fruit (not canned fruit) and the servings are very filling. Everyone who works there is very friendly. We look forward to returning in the future.

We stopped in for lunch after biking back to Camp Santonini. Cute store! The whole place was immaculate! (including the restrooms).Our food was EXCELLENT. The staff was very friendly and we enjoyed talking with them.We will be back, & highly recommend you check it out too.The campground is very nice!

So friendly, always great service. We sat out on deck with dog not once did they forget we were out there the waitress was very attentive and friendly.
