My new little puppy Snowball had an issue with her eye and they were able to take me in as a new patient immediately and help her which was greatly appreciated !They are wonderful staff , and I am looking forward to doing business with them in the future .This is going to be Snowballs Vet , and I could not be more proud and confident that they will help me take good care of her throughout the years !

Whenever I need an appointment on the same day Newburgh Veterinary Hospital is always accommodating.This is very important for dog Lulu. Everyone is so pleasant and friendly. I’m so glad I switched to NVH.

BEWARE!! My daughter brought her dog there. I gave permission for $1300 for care. They had her sign an agreement. They charged my credit card for $3000 without my consent or signature. Since when are you allowed to use a credit card without authorization or signature. They would only take care credit not my personal card for the $1300. I was forced to get the card to save the dogs life. I am reporting to the Better Business Bureau. The dog is still sick. Stay away

I am a reptile mom and have a menagerie of lizards. Dr. Steinbeiser is knowledgeable and handles everyone with care even through tough diagnosis’s. She is thorough and provides the best care I have seen. Highly recommend her to any exotic pet parent!

Nothing but love for the techs that trimmed my Riley's nails. He was rescued from an abusive situation and can be very difficult when anyone tries to touch his paws. Not only were they kind and caring, they got the job done quickly and efficiently. Thank you so much.

My regular vet could not see my ferret for an emergency. This practice did. They took care of the problem and treated me and my pet respectfully and competently. It is not easy finding good ferret vets. I am very grateful and I will be taking my ferrets there in the future.

I absolutely love this veterinary hospital, the hours are great, they always have great exotic vets on staff, and the receptionists are always helpful and accommodating. I am a frequent flyer here due to my 4 year old rabbit’s dental disease that unfortunately is terminal. I was heartbroken because my rabbit is healthy and happy besides her teeth, Dr. Steinbeiser is her vet and she is phenomenal! She has gone above and beyond to combat my rabbits dental disease and we came up with a treatment plan that has so far given back my rabbit her quality of life. Her pain is managed and she’s on all solids foods! Yes I spend a TON of money doing this but she’s dependent on me for her care and I cherish her like my child. Overall I am forever grateful for Dr. Steinbeiser and her incredible care and all of the staff here.

Our bird is having some issues right now and she’s been so helpful and comforting through the process.The office as a whole seems great. I brought my Boston Terrier for a sick visit. The availability of an appointment on a holiday weekend was impressive. The care that my baby received from everyone there, from reception to the vet tech and the veterinarian was so impressive. I will recommend this office to anyone I know!

.y cat was misdiagnosed by another vet and was told to put him down. I took my echo to newburgh vet because our vet said they couldn't do anything for him. Well Newburgh vet did and gave us the best news that he was going to be ok. Gave us medication and prescription food something our vet wouldn't do. Will be using Newburgh veterinarian from now on. They were wonderful and we thank them from the bottom of our heart for caring for my baby

Everyone at Newburgh Veterinary Hospital has been exceptional. We have recently had emergencies with our parrot and dog and they have been the only ones there and ready to help. I drive over an hour just to bring our pet to them for the quality of care they provide. Thank you

I've been taking my pets here for the past 15 years. I just recently took my 11 yr old dog to the vet for an ear infection it's cost was about 300 that was healed for about a month.i then had to take her again for the same.thing. again around 300. And now it's happened again and I can't afford the 300 and just wanted the meds. But nope the won't give her any w/o a visit. Do they care about helping animals or just about the money?

I’ve taken my dog to get baths to many different places and every time she comes home stinky/with wet smell, I realized I should try her own vet so I brought her in and she came home smelling SOOO amazing and very very happy. She HATES baths and that’s why I am not able to bring her near our bathroom but I’m so glad I can bring her here now and I know it’s not a waste of money. I also bring her for her regular check ups and it’s cost efficient and very thorough. The staff is always very informative and understanding. Everyone on the team is always ready to help. I know my pet is in good hands. I appreciate everyone’s professionalism and positive energy.

I just adopted my dog Vino and this office took amazing care of both of us. He had a sick visit soon after his initial annual visit and they immediately relieved his pain and came up with a treatment plan that I could trust. I am greatly to have NVH apart of Vino's care team.

Jeter does not like having his feet touched, so getting his nails trimmed can be a challenge. Pet Smart used to do it but all of a sudden they wouldn't allow him in with a muzzle. The muzzle is for their protection. Go figure! I thank you for getting them done with no issues and they look great!

I have been coming to this vet office for many years, but the last year the office staff has changed and I am extremely unsatisfied. I hope that the management can improve their training to teach their front desk staff better customer service. Having to wait 45 minutes for an appointment without anyone apologizing for the wait was unacceptable.

I have used this hospital for all our minpin babies needs & heath care. We've never had a bad experience nor do I feel this hospital takes advantage of you financially. Rated 100% they genuinely care for your animals like their own fur babies. The vets even saved my grandogs life a fews years ago. My small dog Molly Cut her ear and I was grateful that emergency services were available. My regular vet couldn't see her on a Saturday and the local emergency vet clinics were closed Molly was seen right away and her surgery was successful. The staff was very caring and explained everything to me.This was a second big vet expense in two weeks (different vet) and I admit I was shocked at the combined cost. Yet in the end both my dogs are doing very well and the cost was well worth it.
