They surprisingly find whatever I'm looking for on their shelves.The staff is friendly and helpful. There's always someone knowledgeable on site even if the young folks don't yet know everything.They can't match the big box store prices -that's how they big stores shut mom and pops down and screw over the local economy. I also patronize Hales, though they're not as well stocked as Brett's.I can afford to pay a little extra to secure this resource in our community, so I do. I hope others will too.

I don't Here Often But Today I was in A Hard place when My Ford F-250 Front Brake Caliper Bolt Came Loose and Falling Out Just After I'd Rebuilt the Entire Front Right Side I didn't Do my 100 mile Check up and Heres the End Result lol So I went to A Bunch of Auto parts Store's and Not So I went to Brett's True Value in Newburgh on North plant Rd Right Next Too Maximum Fitness....So Mark Who Work's there Found What I'd needed and I'm back on the Road Again.....

You're good local hardware store. They have nearly everything you want and if they don't have it they tell you where to go. Friendly helpful staff, reasonably-sized store. Please frequent this place and stay away from the Home Depot where you don't get this level of service

Friendly staff who knew right away what the did and didn't waste my time with what they didn't have (which was shelving for a cheap shelving system). Great to have a good hardware store in the area. Such a breath of fresh air after going to home despot. Sadly, will probably have to go back to home despot for the shelves that the landlord built in.

Has just about anything you need and u can by individual nuts bolts screws ect ... Lil expensive but I go here before I go to lows or home Depot for most things.

Great small hardware store. Treat you like they genuinely care about you. A personal experience that you don't get from the big box stores. Also really like the fact that they employ local youth in the store.

Walked into this store with my younge daughter looking for a spray hose nozzel. Was being followed around the store like I was going to steal something. So we my daughter and I left. Will not spend my money were I am made to feel uncomfortable. Plus their prices were very high.

I’ve found items I needed ASAP and couldn’t wait for delivery. I tried the local Home Depot and Lowes, but this little hardware.store had them in stock! Service is ALWAYS professional and gracious. I will continue to support them to the best of my abilities.

I love this store. They have a great selection of hardware, cleaning supplies and other chemicals. Employees are always super helpful and friendly. I always go here before the larger home improvement stores.

Excellent store to visit when you don't want to be stuck on Route 300 in traffic going to Lowes or Home Depot. Prices are obviously higher which is why I inquired about a military discount at Brett's. They DO NOT give military discounts. All of the other hardware stores and soooo many businesses in the Town of Newburgh do recognize military discounts. So why not Brett's ?

A great addition to the area. Now I dont have to run to Lowes or HD to get small things during a renovation project. While not a lumber yard they aren't a small hardware store either. They have a good selection of tools and materials for most trade jobs. Call ahead to see if they have what you need. Happy to support a local place.

This store is a blessing. More expensive than the big box stores, but now I don't have to drive across town when I need something for a project. Staff is helpful and they always have what I need.

I've shopped here a few times and was shocked when I was there recently and watched the owner approach a former employee and aggressively and loudly ask him to "leave his store." Unfortunately, this isn't the first time I've seen the owners treat their employees in a very demeaning manner and decided to take my business else where from now on.
