Happy Dogs is amazing! I take my dog twice a week, and he absolutely loves it. He comes home with the biggest smile, and they’ll even send photos if they took any throughout the day. They’re so much more than a daycare, they offer baths and touchups as well as boarding.The staff at Happy Dogs is also so amazing. Always friendly and beyond helpful. I would recommend Happy Dogs to anyone with a pup!

My dog loves coming to happy dogs for daycare. Hes always dragging me down the street to get there. The staff is very responsive over email as well and always gives us a heads up if there is something going on in terms of events/other dogs that may have been sick at the time. Always happy when we get pictures as well

The absolute best dog daycare and boarding in NYC! I have been a customer of Happy Dogs for 4+ years and have used all of their services over that time. The owners and employees impress me constantly with how much they genuinely care for my dog like she's their own.My dog has the best time playing with her friends in spacious indoor play areas, as well as on the outdoor patio. I love that she gets fresh air and outdoor time every single day. I also love the cage-free boarding facility and the option to watch my dog on the cameras when I miss her. Whenever I check the cameras, the employees are always paying full attention to the dogs. The team is never on their phones and always make sure to keep an eye on the play. They are also quick to step in and safely command the pack when the dogs get a bit excited.Their safety and cleanliness standards are the absolute best I've seen out of the 8+ boarding facilities that we've tried over her young life in multiple cities. I really can't recommend Happy Dogs enough!

The absolute best dog boarding in NYC! I have been a customer of Happy Dogs for 3+ years. The staff is very friendly and the check in/check out process is extremely organized.I love that they have an outdoor patio, so my dog, Poppy, gets fresh air and outdoor time during her stay at Happy Dogs. They also have cameras, so you can watch your dog playing and having a great time. I love watching the video camera to see her playing with friends.

I have taken my pup to Happy Dogs for almost a year now. We most commonly use the punch cards for daycare, but we occasionally board with Happy Dogs as well.I appreciate that Happy Dogs does a free trial day, to ensure your dog is a good fit. We were notified after a few hours that our pup was accepted.I appreciate that there is a live cam, and I can check on my dog through out the day.The member website and the check in/check out process is really efficient.Overall, I am happy with the dog watchers/trainers. My pup is excited to go inside when checking her in, and she's full of happy/positive energy when I'm checking her out. I would recommend.

I've been bringing my dog to Happy Dogs on 23rd St for a little over a year now and have had really positive experiences so far. My dog gets so excited to go and I love that I can watch him on the cameras to see how much fun he's having! One of the best parts about Happy Dogs is the staff. They are extremely accommodating and helpful. There have been a few occasions where I've had questions about my account/subscriptions or last minute was late to pick him up and they were very understanding and helpful. Not to mention, they've taken some of my favorite photos of my dog (seriously...I've printed them out)! If you have a high energy dog like me- you'll love that when you bring them home after having spent a few hours at Happy Dogs they're exhausted and immediately fall asleep :)

We love Happy Dogs!! Our Mini Dachshund can be a little shy around other pups so we would always worry about her at her old daycare. When we made the switch to Happy Dogs, we immediately noticed the difference in care. Happy Dogs is also very transparent about pricing, something we haven't seen done very well in prior care. They've done a great job as fostering a safe and fun environment for all different types of dogs. Our pup now jumps out of our arms tail wagging to see her Happy Dog friends!! All of the staff are extremely friendly, communicative, and most importantly caring and loving of the Happy Dogs pack. We feel so good about leaving here there and are so glad she a part of the pack now!

Love bringing my noodle here for daycare or for boarding when I have a weekend trip. I have tried many daycares around NYC for my shy and anxious dog Oswald and this is the one he seems to do the best at. The staff and owners are true pet people and care about the wellbeing of the pets and even the owners when they are away from their love bugs. I highly recommend Happy Dogs at 23rd and 1st!

This place is really focused on your dog. They have a patio (rare in NYC!) where the pups can spend some outside time during the warmer months, and the community engagement activities have been so nice to get to meet other owners and dogs. The owners are also very responsive to email requests / questions.

The staff at Happy Dogs is very attentive and communicative. They also send you pictures of your pup every now and then so that you can see how they're doing. I also appreciate that they have a live cam so that I can check on my girl during the day. Highly recommend!

Happy Dogs has been extremely convenient and easy to use for weekly day care and occasional weekend stays. Simple online booking, prices seem fair, and most importantly our small senior Chihuahua seems to be happy with the other clientele and staff ;) . Thanks for taking care of Birdie!

Moby is very social so the setup at Happy Dogs suits him - he is always in the company of fellow dogs and the wonderful staff. And it’s great to be able to see what’s going on through the dog cam. Moby comes home tired and happy after a stay at Happy Dogs.

Happy dogs is great. They have incredibly affordable rates, both for daytime lodging and overnight lodging. They provide a camera for live look-ins, but having met the staff - I know our dog is getting a healthy and happy experience every time she goes. Further, they have packages to make things even more affordable at times, and they also keep you up to date if there are any issues during the time your dog stays with them, if necessary.

Extremely unsafe. My dog has been bitten three times at Happy Dogs. The latest causing her ear to be split in half down the middle and requiring stitches. The veterinarian at Bond Vet said it’s the worst she’s seen.After a week of waiting for the video, they said the attack was off camera, and that they can’t send me the video due to internal policy. They offered to show me a video in person, though said the attack wasn’t visible.In addition to being unsafe, Happy Dogs did nothing to rectify the situation. They initially said they would cover the vet bill. When I asked for reimbursement, they said it’s not part of their policy regardless if the staff told me they would reimburse the vet bill.If you value your dogs safety, don’t risk bringing them to Happy Dogs.

The staff is great, always here to answer our questions and Sophie is always happy to go to Happy Dogs. I love the 24/7 staff on site, I feel Sophie is extra safe and not staying in a cage. The live camera during opening hours is also a great addition to keep an eye on her when we miss her too much.

Lovely daycare, Sage my Shorkie is socialized well after being part of the pack. Recommend to anyone with a new pup (one who is up to date on all vaccines of course). Easy to use online platform, quick drop off and pick up.

My 9lb. pup Penelope loves Happy Dogs. She has been a regular at their daycare for over a year and is so excited when I drop her off. The staff is easy to reach and sometimes emails pics of her during the day. She did get hurt at daycare once (as can happen when dogs are together) but they were quick to alert me, sent me photos of the scrape and cleaned the area very well--it healed within a couple of days.
