Times I have stopped often find good selections of meats and poultry sometimes get good deals on there produce. Sometimes prices are a lot cheaper and quality is better than at other grocery stores depending on what I’m looking for. Rising prices and crazy costs sadly is everywhere nowadays on just about everything. Not what it was like back in the day.

Their self checkout asks way to many questions compared to surrounding stores. People just wanna get in and get out. Not have to hit No multiple times on the screen and answer multiple prompts

Don't shop too much at PC but always have used deli dept for party subs for different occasions. I will say they never let us down.

This place is somewhat good. The fruits are very expensive. One lime is almost $1. The bleach is high price & so are the detergents. Meats are reasonable. You need to have a card from this place to get the bargains. People that work there are nice.

Due to a newer Shoprite that opened nearby, there were very few people there. Large and well-stocked, but variety was limited; some brands weren't available. Used self checkout easily. There's a coin change machine where you can dump your change, get a paper receipt, and bring the receipt to the customer service counter to the left for dollarbills or you can donate the change to charity.

Price Chopper has clean aisles of food and products which are easy to find. Meat, produce and meats are put out fresh on a daily basis and there is rarely a crowd to go through in the checkout or self checkout bays.Staff is friendly and helpful and easy to find if you need help finding anything. Plenty of parking is available as well as the shopping carts. It's in a strip mall along with other local businesses within walking distance.

The store had options, and the options weren’t bad. But the store is quite expensive when I visited about three months ago, probably won’t go back anytime soon

The store itself is well stocked. Excellent seafood counter, better than average deli, better than average meat. HOWEVER..having 1 cashier on no matter how busy it is can make you walk out as your frozen goods start defrosting on line. It's also a bit pricey. The do 10 for $10 sales. But to get it, you HAVE to buy 10. ShopRite's better

Been shopping at this store for over a decade. the people who run the butcher shop and deli are great. My question is, if you’re going to hire special needs people , shouldn’t you have a management staff who doesn’t deem it appropriate to make these said employees cry in front of the entire store? Several times we have seen the same managers and employees yelling at special needs employees In ways that would cause other PEOPLE to quit. We are all human, but Quincy, Sara, and all of your management staff should be embarrassed after letting this go on for so long. After calls to corporate and several complaints made by multiple people, My family will stop shopping here and we will be urging all of our friends to do the same.

Old lady's manager she working in the front end had bad attitudes. Why? this. Company price chopper bring young lady's manager to work and the old lady's transferred different store every time I go there and ask for help don't help me. A lot people is happening but don't complain if buy it and go. That's the point they has to help the costumer.. please do it something training more respect. This store is in. NEW WINDSOR NY 12553. Will never shop there again!!! 1 register open when I got there at 705 PM filled my cart with what I needed and headed to the register and now none are open. 1 girl slumping over the little stand for self check out, 5 employees stand at open office door not doing anything but talking and laughing. Yes 6 paid employees not doing anything. Pushed my cart to self checkout and asked the girl if any registers are opening and she said no. Well they can now put my groceries away because I am not checking out 3/4 full cart while 6 paid employees do nothing. I will be calling the store manager tomorrow to state my displeasure with this, Second time I have had this happen, last time I did self check out while 4 employees just stood around. Makes me wonder if this is store policy or lack of work ethic!!! I only gave 1 star because it is required to post a review. Just a side note, we as customers are required to ware a mask yet these 6 employees were not, Seems one sided to me.

Nice big store, not very crowded aisles are wide and they carry items that smaller stores just don't have.

It a good store. Smaller than another grocery nearby. They have good butcher items, however vegetables could be fresher and changed out more often. Was there yesterday I wanted fresh carrots but theirs was very bendable rubbery so they were old.

The produce and meats are always fresh.Their bakery has really improved.The flowers, especially the roses, are always nice.The store is clean.They have good customer service.

One of our favorites. We have shopped there for over 20 years. Recently remodeled. It seems like the overall prices increased to match, yet it is a pleasure for us to shop there, as the meats and produce are fresh, and the deli counter is first rate.

Customers are crowding each other at the checkout and the cashiers aren’t enforcing customers to wait and social distance so it’s not great. I hadn’t packed out my items and the cashier was already scanning the next customers items, they were coming down the belt into my items, that’s not what should be happening while counts are so high right now with COVID19. Everyone should feel safe and properly distanced.

Since repaving their parking lot I have a few issues. 1.their parking spots are not uniform in any way shape or form. 2.parking spots are way too narrow, any vehicle larger than a bicycle will have a hard time finding a spot. During the daytime be prepared to move carts out of spots. As far as inside the store it is always clean so that is a plus.

Clean and well stocked ,but lacking human help at checkout. I felt bad for the 1 girl who was trying to juggle her register and helping at the self checkout. Maybe someone was on a break, but probably best to have at least 2 registers open early mornings.. Some customers are ruthless and need to get some manners. Yelling at her for lack of help or because you don't know how to scan properly doesn't help the situation. Look for the manager or contact the corporate office. Kindness please!!

They've fixed this store up so much in the last few years I actually like it more than the New Windsor one now. The butcher is the absolute best, so good I would pay extra for the service if it wasn't free! They keep it clean and organized and it's easy to find help if you need it.

I can't stand that place you can never find anything supervisor there are always bad mouthing the employee. When there's a huge crowd in front of a Dept. The Manager just walk through and never help the employee by him or herself. When time to check out only one register open and three self checkout lines open with 20 people on line with full carts

Pre-Covid I gave them solid 4 stars but then the pharmacy disappeared overnight without any warning. The pharmacy was my favorite thing about them and I miss it and the sttaff to this day. Still, the rest of the Price Chopper staff are all very friendly which keeps me coming back. Well, that and the fact that they are on my side of the light at 5 corners. The prices are good too.They still tend to have a decent selection in general. They were never my 1st choice for produce. If I had the time, energy, and extra money, I'd head over to Shoprote, Hannaford, or Adam's for any delicate produce.I'm still giving them 4 stars because I still like shopping there. The staff are good people, they stay pretty well stocked, the prices are fair, and the location is convient so, they deserve more than three stars.

Price Chopper Is a great store. The people are very friendly and helpful.I think whoever decided to have the store open on Thanksgiving is a real @#$%&*.I bet whoever it is is spending Thanksgiving with their family.I wish them anything but a happy day.

I go shopping at the one in vails gate the workers are very polite and always willing to help you if you need help bringing your stuff to the car plus I now were everything is at because I shop there so much lol definitely recommend shopping there

Clean, fresh produce, meat, and fish. Nice selection of seasonal items and small appliances other grocery stores don't have. Worth it to have the member card for the savings.

I live in Newburgh but I prefer to go to this Price Chopper because the employees are more friendly and professional. I love the layout of the store; I can find everything that I need rather easily. I enjoy shopping here and I highly recommend this location.

I must say that I enjoy going to Price chopper because it's usually not crowded the isles are kept nice and clean the staff is friendly the I also set up very well dot-dot. My only complaint is that they don't have such great prices unless there is a sale going on in the store and I have to say that I love the variety of their food and other products.

Price Chopper is in the process of rebranding and changing the corporate name, and I see why. It sounds like a bargain basement store, but it is actually a very well stocked supermarket which happens to have excellent special offers on many products. This is a "stock up and save" type of store where you are rewarded for buying quantity. There were numerous "buy one, get one (or even 2)" promotions. The seafood selection is excellent, the in-house baked goods tasty and well-priced, and the produce was varied and fresh. We bought more groceries, and a better selection of items, than at other comparably sized stores, but didn't spend any more than usual.

Employees are hard working and friendly. But unfortunately, lately the store has empty shelves in the cleaning and laundry supply aisle, and in good quality meats. I used to shop here often. Now it seems I have to go to other stores for cleaning supplies....and almost all the others have shelves stocked, like Shop Rite, Hannafords, Wal-Mart, StopnShop, DeCiccos. Why can't Price Chopper keep up???
