I am a frequent customer at the grooming salon. Today I arrived for my 10am appointment 15 min early. When I arrived, the female groomer was working on a dog. I said good morning. She asked if I was dropping off, I said yes. She rolled her eyes, grabbed the dog she was working on and went to put him in the back. I heard her slam the gate of the cage where I’m assuming she put the dog in. She then came back to the front and went to grab my dog. I asked her if everything was okay, since I can clearly see she had an attitude. She said, yes you’re just dropping off early and I needed to put the dog away. I said, it’s okay I can wait till 10am if that’s better for you. She said it’s too late, I already put the other dog away. I did not feel comfortable leaving my dog with her and told her never mind. I didn’t feel comfortable and was not going to leave my dog with her. She said OK. I’ve never had an issue with the groomers nor any other employees at this establishment. Everyone is usually very kind and helpful. Which is why I’m giving 2 stars and not 1. I did speak to a manager on my way out to advise of his employees negative attitude. He apologized and was very kind. He offered having another groomer work on my dog but I happily declined. I will not be going back there. Also, if you are the owner of the cute small white pup who was getting groomed on 5/1/24 at around 9:45am, I would suggest checking your dog is okay as she did grab them pretty harshly. I can’t guarantee that she threw them into the cage but I’m 100% positive she slammed the gate to the cage.

Came here on a whim to see what kind of fish I might find. To my surprise, I found a pair of neon blue gobies. They were very small but these were uncommon enough to justify taking them home. The staff member I dealt with was friendly and professional. Fast forward a year and they did very well and that's uncommon enough that it's worth mentioning.

I am extremely impressed by the knowledgeable, friendly, and professional staff in the fish and aquarium department. The selection is not the largest, but the staff is proactive and helpful in taking special order requests. I am so pleased with the staff that I would prefer to order here and wait a few days than shop at a big box fish store that has something on hand.

I schedule regular appointments with Emma (Groomer) at Pet Supplies Plus (Vails Gate/New Windsor, NY location). She is absolutely wonderful with my 11-year old shih tzu. We have used numerous groomers throughout the years and Emma is one of the top 3. All associates we have come in contact with at this location are very courteous, polite, and helpful. It's a pleasure to shop here.

Great local pet supply store. I went here because my other pet store closed at 8pm and Pet Supplies Plus was open until 9pm and they were actually cheaper than my other pest store. I'll be coming here from now on.

Went as usual to get my dogs nail trim,I then got the ticket and rinse my dog off quick and towel dry since dryers weren’t on and was heading to pay both together along with just a bone,older lady worker as me if I use the wash station and I said yes and I’m heading to pay rn,my dog doesn’t like getting her nails cut after a bath or gets anxiety so it’s easier to do her nails before her bath .i was never given a issue by other employees in the pass to pay for the bath after as long as I told them after since I was paying everything together and I since I had to get the ticket to pay for the nails and they also will see us go in anyway and never mention anything when they will be cleaning the other stations as well.Well anyway the older lady started to tell me no one will ever tell me that and that I had to pay before but I told her how will I make this up if past employees told me in the pass as long as I told them I used it once I’m done it was ok.Well she started to get a attitude as if I was stealing even though I was paying .kept saying it over and over and she just started to make me sound like a liar instead of just explaining in the future to do it before.I never had issues with employees and I like taking my dog there.But if she had such a problem she could have gone up to me while I was still using it instead of giving me attitude in front of the cashier and other people around …

We got our Russian tortoise here this week after driving 1.5hrs! it was a very pleasant experience. Loved the employees & store was clean. We named him Oogway & he is definitely loved already. 💚🐢 We will be back for all our pets needs when we need to stock up!

I have been shopping in the store since they opened. They are always helpful and their shelves are always full. Quality products and foods/treats for my pups. I just began using their grooming service for my two standard poodles and they’re doing a very very awesome job I’m very happy.

This is one of the friendliest and best pet store I've ever encountered. The associates were friendly, helpful, and carried out my heavy bags without me having to ask. Not to mention the great sale prices. Would recommend.

Very friendly, knowledgeable staff. Clean, helpful and always have huge stock of what I need! Many times I’ll drive a little longer to get to pet supplies, passing other box stores for the savings and to find things constantly out of stock elsewhere. I love the online points and discount they offer too. Great place to groom and wash your own pet too. They even have prescriptions filled. Definitely recommend in store and online.

Their point system is a scam I signed up months ago for it and redeemed my points one time. And now they are telling that isnt possible because they can't see the points from the register. They also let me know the store cards you scan are only for the sales and not for points. Which makes no sense since I've redeemed my points before. And even though I've inquired about this twice it was never mentioned to me once . The cashier was rude and didn't explain anything to me but the young girl with red hair was very nice and explained everything to me . It is extremely annoying and disappointing that I've spent at least $1000 here in the last few months and I wont recieve any points for that what a scam. I don't feel good about coming in here again .

It's a good place. much like Petco but smaller, more personal, and with a dog washing station. If you use the dog washing station, ($15) it's best to go during the week and during the day. Friday, Saturday, and Sundays you'll have to expect a wait to get your dog washed. Id advise to bring your own shampoo and conditioner. Even though they provide it, It's not always full.

I came in to get my dog's nails trimmed. They take walk-ins and there was no wait. They also stock the brand of dog food that we use, which is sometimes hard to find. The price on both the dog food and the grooming service were reasonable

If you haven't gone to Pet Supply Plus grab a coupon & go. I can find our pricey dry dog cheaper here post coupon than Amazon or Chewy. The stores are roomy & clean & staff is so friendly. I'm a fan😊Quick update! I'm continuing to use PSP for my pups & couldn't be happier. Went there with a nice coupon this past weekend! The staff is so friendly & helpful. I was stocking up & they just make it easier by grabbing a cart and retrieving bags from the higher shelf area. I was also buying to donate to the local shelter & the assistant helped me find the shelters preferred food! Then Anthony diligently entered a coupon code that was longer than any Nuke launch code. Grab a coupon & visit the friendliest store around!
