This is the best place in New Lebanon. Josh, Lucas and their team are doing an awesome job for the community with great products, great produce, and a very passionate newsletter.This is NOT your average grocery store, this is the Mecca of grocery stores.The CSA is great and you can get freshly cooked food on Wednesday with both meaty and vegetarian options.

Really nice to see this market in New Lebanon. It’s great to get fresh food from local farmers without having to wait for a particular day of the week. It is a small market, but it is growing and there’s a nice collection of dried, frozen, and canned goods. I also know the stores is intended to support local farmers and businesses. there’s a certain color of price tag in the store that represents local products, and those are marked up less than non-local goods, which have a different color of tag.They also have baked goods delivered at different days of the week as well as local chefs, providing fresh hot lunches and dinners on certain days of the week. I have seen sushi, Thai food, Indian food, and fried chicken to name a few.As a bonus it is in a town where there is basically no other fresh food available for a considerable radius so it’s something that the community has been needing for sure.The owners and staff are friendly, and I always walk out of there with a nice collection of fresh organic local produce (among other things)

Nice array of area vegetables and fruits from local farmers. Cold storage is nice but the owners tends to hold onto produce beyond it's prime. They should reduce price or give seay. He should look into how Roots Marketplace in VT handles produce that is beyond prime. Bakery goods are handled without gloves when it arrives and it's uncovered and exposed to shoppers or flies. Quite disgusting.

Hard to know where to begin, it’s all so wonderful:Food-the produce is local, varied, interesting, fairly priced and supports our local farmers. Ditto for lots of other stuff- meat, poultry, sausage, cheese, bread, bakery. And what can’t be, or isn’t, sourced locally is selected with a perfect touch for what tastes good.People-the store is so much fun to be in because Josh and Eleanor and Lucas and all their volunteers are great company and the store is inviting and charming.Other- and then, the icing on the cake, the great newsletters, including what’s at the store, recipes and what’s happening in the community.Really, I would give this market a 5 * cubed review if possible.

Our local farmers market is a gem! Great selection of local produce, meat, dairy, and all kinds of staples from pasta to nuts. The proprietors and volunteers that run the market are friendly, knowledgeable, and ready with recipes if you need one. I love finding a new vegetable or herb to try at home. My absolute favorite items that are MUST TRYS are the snap dragon apples in fall and the Bartlett House croissants (year round). Check them out and enjoy!

This little shop has everything going for it. Great selection. Great communication. Convenience. Quality and fair prices. And the people running it are knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. Sign up for their daily newsletter (yes - DAILY!). It's filled with notices of what's available and in season. And occasionally, Eleanor adds a mouthwatering recipe that incorporates the latest offerings.

I love this place. It’s a year round market that offers an extraordinary array of locally sourced products from organic produce. to artisan breads and baked goods, sustainably and lovingly raised beef, pork, chicken, plus eggs, milk, cheeses, yogurt and ice cream and much more. In addition to the typical outdoor farmers market in the summer, this “farmers market” also doubles as a tiny grocery store inside year round! With as many local veggies as are in season, organic fruits and vegetables from a distributor, ethical local meats, delicious hand baked goodies, and staples like sugar and coffee! The people who run it are incredibly friendly, and transparent. The place is spotless and curated with kindness. I feel uplifted every time I shop here (which is not how usually I feel after food shopping!) So grateful to have this in the community.

In the area, there are no grocery stores, so from a convenience perspective there's no alternative. You would almost expect a monopolistic enterprise to take advantage of the situation, and although the prices for their goods exceeds big market offerings, the quality of their fresh vegetables and fruits and breads and frozen foods are irrefutably high!Eat delicious healthy locally grown and produced food, and feel good about supporting nice people pursuing a righteous initiative.Go there! I'm glad I do.

What a wonderful dinner we had last night! All from this wonderful farm stand. Grilled fresh, as in just cut, NY Strip steaks, mmmm. Thank you Eleanor! Roasted Yukon gold potatoes and a delicious Caesar salad made with fresh Bibb lettuce and herbs. We only had to travel less than 2 miles to get there. Oh, and the tasty cardamom buns from Bartlett House, available every Saturday. We went to sleep with full bellies and happy faces. Thank you Josh, Eleanor and Lucas, y’all rock!

Highly recommend the weekly order ahead service - order online Monday-Wednesday and pick-up on Thursday. Selection can be a bit limited (especially as we head into late fall/winter) , but fresh, delicious food, supports local farms/businesses, and covid-safe outdoor pick-up!

In my opinion, best Farmer's market in Columbia County... Still growing, but selection and prices more than fair. Friendly people, frequent live music, seniors can get "doubled" Office of the Aging coupons, so worth the trip!
