Buyers BEWARE. Do not buy or bring your camper here to be serviced. We have experienced nothing but a true nightmare. They keep your camper for weeks at a time claiming to fix issues covered under the insurance that you pay for only to give it back in worse condition! They steal parts small parts from your unit that they think will go unnoticed to give to others and have no respect for your property. Mechanics have stepped on and dragged our newly purchased mattress and left us with a dead battery that needed to be replaced as it sat in their shop for a whole month. They improperly installed a washing machine which caused our unit to flood. The list goes on and on and I really don’t want another family to go through this. The manager will be friendly and present to during the day of sale but once all the issues arise he is nowhere to be found.

I was honestly very pleased as I walked in afraid I was going to encounter pushy salespeople and a “buy it now” attitude. Paige worked to help us find exactly what we wanted within our price range. She showed us several options to choose from and different options from used and new, detailing the benefits of each. Finance worked to help us find the best deal and didn’t push anything on us we didn’t want. They even came to our home and took out trade away for us. I would certainly buy from them again and look forward to working with them to keep our RV going for years to come.

We had an amazing experience today with Cody Ross and his manager! (Sorry we don't have his name) They were both really nice people! They gave us the best customer service ever out there! As first time campers we had no idea what we were looking for. Cody and his manager got us 2 choices with just a few questions. While they were great campers, we wanted some parts from both of them together. Wahoo! They nailed it!! They got us exactly what we didn't think we'll ever get! Thanks again👍

We needed a part, I called to ask before stopping, if they had the part, a very nice lady checked, said they had it, told me exactly where it is in the store, told me her name and that she would be at the entry desk if I needed help; that is excellent service. We really appreciated her time and help.Very clean bathroom.Very well organized and stocked store.Excellent service.We really appreciate their help thus keeping us on the road on our journey.

What a gorgeous coach Jenacee found for us. We worked almost exclusively on line and she just about hit all the check marks of desires in a new (to us) RV. Heck, she managed to find one located in Texas! I can’t say enough about the fine staff at Camping World of Albany. Thank you all for coming through for us and putting up with us! Even our dog Hope had a great time.

Michael was very helpful in showing us a trailer when we were passing through. Zachary also worked hard to get us a deal on a trailer we saw online. We ended up purchasing it through a private sale instead. They were both kind and very professional.

Everyone is very friendly and approach customers right away we dealt with Niki in finance who is wonderful and Zach who was our salesman who was very knowledgeable and patient with us, he took us around to show us every camper that would fit our needs. We just put purchased a travel trailer from Camping World. The staff was wonderful from the front desk receptionist to Joe the GM. However we can’t say enough about our salesman David!! This young man was knowledgeable, respectful and very friendly. We are so excited to plan our first trip with our new trailer !

Had a wonderful experience buying my first camper here! My salesperson Paige was especially helpful and incredibly knowledgeable about the camper and all the accessories I was looking at. I usually ask a ton of questions before I buy something, and she was either able to answer them all herself, or walked me over to someone who could (in this case, about a niche composting toilet I was interested in that I saw online on a site totally unrelated to camping world). Thank you to the whole team and especially Paige for making the experience memorable and stress free. I look forward to coming here next time I’m in the market for a camper!

We had a great experience. Our salesperson Steven Glickman was very knowledgeable, and patiently took the time to get to know us, and our family's needs. He made us feel like million dollar customers, while helping us choose the perfect fit for our tight budget. That treatment continued throughout our purchase by James who helped us through the financing process, Nichole who helped us make sure we had the essentials we needed for our first successful trip, and finally by Anthony in service who made sure we knew all of the features of our new Coleman, and how to use them. I would definitely recommend this dealership to anyone shopping for an RV.

I had the worst experience in this place . So unprofessional. I schedule an appointment a week in advance and was told that “hopefully” the part they were order will be here . When I arrived I discover that it “may take a couple of weeks” and that they don’t have the part.I left the RV for detailed cleaning before a sale. They charge $12.99 per feet and the RV came back dirty as hell. It seems like they barley clean that and asked me to pay $300 + change . I came to pick up the unit and was shocked !!! Luckily I didn’t pay before I checked the RV so they took it back and did the all thing again and waste more of my time . The service was awful and the lady over there almost blame me for not seeing well and filled me with excuses. I definitely definitely recommend to find some alternative to this company. Will never be back here again

Went there today to have an RV under extended warranty looked at for something very simple. A black out curtain not closing/ rolling up. I didn’t asked them to fix it but tell me how to fix it but, always a but this was the third camper world I’d been to in a couple of days for this.Here was the last straw. I wanted to cancel all my extended warranties since I could not get them to have someone take 5 minutes to explain to me on how to reload that spring. Not one. At Albany, there was even a person who wanted to fight me. Really a red headed guy wanted to go outside and fight this old vet. He wasn’t even part of the decision with me, 2 receptionist, a sales man (nice guy) and I guess the GM. Not one of the people there would help.Yes I talk loud, I have ringing in my ears from too many claymores and gunshots from my time in the Marines and just driving for 4 hours to get someone to help. That is no reason for them not taking a look at the blind.Side note, as I was leaving, I saw the RV I looked at the month before parked in there lot. This is one that I had took a 2 and 1/2 self tap sheet metal screw out of the roof by hand. They had brought me a rv that clearly needed a lot of work. They were asking more for that one than the one I got. I believe I have wrote about the experience.Second side note, not all is bad. I did enjoy talking to the people at Syracuse camper world. They showed more than enough professionalism to me that I did buy an rv from them. Same rv as Albany but one year older and in much better condition. Unfortunately my experience with those other dealers makes it hard for me to trust Syracuse. Even tho I know Syracuse is not those others. My mental issues.4 stars if it was Syracuse. 1 for the other 3.

Sold us a camper with water damage and signed a paper saying they'd fix it if something were to happen within a month. The wall started to separate we called in April of 21 when we bought it. They got us in in June of 21 to look at it. After that communication stopped. They stopped calling us back or emailing us and no date to fix it at all. Fast forward to today it's still not fixed and corporates words to me were " If camping world wouldn't call you back then you should have taken accountability for your own camper and brought it to a mom and pop store to get fixed". My warranty that I bought that did nothing was through them and it was their responsibility to fix. How about they take accountability that no one did their job at all and make it right! Do not buy from camping world. Horrible people and once you buy it they don't know you. Worst experience and the worst customer service.

Went over to look at fith wheel campers on 3/23/24 and when we arrived we were greated by a very nice lady. Asked if we could walk around and check them out and she said sure. We were interested in a couple and soon was told by a sales representative that someone owns them and kind of rude and never asked us if we were interested at looking at other ones so we left. Poor customer service!!

Tyrone not only took the time out of his day to show me the RVs I was interested in, but went out of his way to show me all options in my price range and give me the advice and guidance I needed. I couldn't recommend a business or salesman more than I would recommend Tyrone at camping world!

She really listened and answered all of my questions and took the time to help me figure out what I really wanted and needed from this purchase. If you’re going to be buying from camping world, you have got to ask for Jenacee. She’s really great!

Sales team greets you and are friendly, act attentive, but like to play the back-and-forth game. However, once you agree to the purchase and have signed the paperwork, they are done with you. We purchased a used 2021 Riverstone Legacy 8/19/23.. They had a transported from Florida. There were issues as to be expected with it being used. Our first walk-through, Anthony was supposed to have taken care of some things before we saw it. He had already left for the day by the time we got there. They threw Brock in to show us around. He was not prepared, and Anthony had not fixed or done anything to prepare the unit for initial inspection. We went through the unit with Brock, and made a list of items that were supposed to be fixed. Pat scheduled to have someone come out to replace some of the soft close drawers that were not working, one of the blinds that was broken, one side of the theater couch was not working, the garage was leaking water, and they were to replace the seal. There was rust on the bottom slide of where the washer and dryer were stored, and that was to be cleaned with some special cleaner they have there. The 7 inch monitor to the camera system was missing and that was to be replaced. It is now the middle of October, they have had service out three separate times, each time the tech acted like he had no clue what he was doing. The third time they were out, the young man Michael had a gasket that was too large for the garage door. Now it’s almost impossible to close. Brock and Michael had both mismeasured the first time they were out and the soft clothes hardware had to be re-ordered. On the third visit, Michael realized the power to the one side of the theater couch was not getting enough juice. Five of the drawers are still missing the new hardware.They still haven’t fix the couch, nor have they ordered the 7 inch monitor for the camera system. The one thing they have done is fix the blind.The communication between the sales department and service is horrendous! By the time Michael was ready to leave, I was able to get a hold of Aaron, one of the managers in service, our relationship started at Rocky as he offended me with some of his comments.I explained we were leaving the following week for a new job and needed to get someone out ASAP to get the things promised to be fixed and taken care of. He argued with me that it was impossible, again reminded me how many times they’ve sent out a tech (like it’s my problem there technicians aren’t fixing the issues)I’ve emailed three times, but he has not responded to any of my emails. He has told me on the phone that he’s received them.We have had to move locations for work, and now we are in another state. They will not send technicians out to finish what they promised would be fixed. They did offer to send all the parts for us to replace.Very poor customer service! We will keep this unit another three or four years and buy a new one. It will not be from Camping World! even if you have things in writing, there is no guarantee they’re going to fix them, fix them correctly, or follow through with anything they’ve guaranteed weather in writing or verbal.who knows how many more times they would’ve sent out a technician.!!??We will not know since we had to move for work.Extremely disappointed. I only give them one star because they had shorted us on paying for the registration fee and tge sales department did make that right.As far as service, they absolutely get no positive rating from us.11/24/2023-I take back the one star for the sales team. They still have not taken care of the title as they said! Our insurance company, the tags and vehicle registration in our county have all tried to reach out to them to no avail! Not to mention, they keep telling me they’re going to take care of it, and do not. I have still not received a resolution to the camera system. This is gone on since the beginning of August!

Our experience was a good one.We met with the sales representative Jenacee who was very attentive to what I was looking for. She showed us quite a few of the travel campers until I finally was able to decide on a perfect fit. Unfortunately, I did not move forward with the deal due to the high finance rates.
