It's not bad when my order is right. They should have the call in orders placed in a bag when ready. I should've checked my bag but forgot to include my fries and forgot to add bacon to my and other family members sandwiches on multiple occasions. The food isn't cheap so I'd like to get everything I order when I do come.The store is nice though they have a lot of beverages and snacks to choose from

Not the place to go if you want anything besides fuel. If you want food go to "The Grahamsville Deli" since they actually care about getting your food out in a timely and friendly manner. Ben more then once where I have found bones in my food, they completely mess-up your order since they are to busy chatting. I am all for supporting local businesses in my area but I avoid this store like it's the plague. Save yourself the stress and only get gas here.

I have to work in Neversink from time to time. Last week was the first time I stopped here for lunch. The place looked clean, and the staff behind the deli taking orders were very friendly. I ordered a half rack of ribs and absolutely loved it. Meat fell off the bone. I happened to work in the area again this week, and came back at lunch just for the ribs. My buddy got the brisket and loved it. I have this place pinned on my phone now.

I've been coming here for years.The food used to be better.There are two people there that have good attitudes, and the rest just make you want to walk out and never return.Whoever they have taking orders is straight up nasty.They have one guy who ignores you the entire time you're standing there.The head guy there Jamie is cool.There's one guy that does the checkout, he's got a great attitude and is always pleasant when he's there.The rest are all poisoned by their hair dye and the metal they have implanted in their faces.One of them made my 80 year old father walk back and forth from the gas pump to the store 5 times because she didn't want to be bothered taking the card when he came in after the pumps card reader failed.Straight up, nasty people working there now.You'll all see this and laugh and not care, till you lose your jobs and you're begging someone else for one.I hope you fall on bad times.I won't be going there ever again.You want gas?Go to liberty, the gas is cheaper.Monticello by Walmart, it's .30 cents cheaper.Want pizza?Liberty or Monticello, too.Same with sandwiches.EDITI write only bad reviews so people like you can fix what's wrong.I noticed all your reviews are bots.Maybe listen to a real person who exists instead of your paid for reviews.Your pumps are trash and have NEVER worked.I always have to go inside and pay there.Blaming the customers for your faulty equipment seems about on par with the attitudes given at your shop.I'll be showing my work soon enough in photos.As for the dye.Seems once you started hiring the bottom of the barrel crew, your place got worse.Pretty on the outside, garbage on the inside

Huge selection for a gas stop.... It's actually a full-fledged grocery / deli / drink & alcohol store. We simply passed by... without expecting much, but once inside, we were surprised to see that they carry everything the surrounding area needs.... from sun up to sundown! Wish to move in the area or simply visiting the region? No worries... They've got your back!

We stopped here to pick up lunch on a recent trip to the area and found the staff friendly and attentive. The food was top notch. Italian hero was massive, the pizza was delicious and very reasonably priced. I would have gone back for another meal if time had allowed.

This is by far my favorite place in the Catskills. Both food and service are great, you can find basically anything over there, including gas. Kayaking in the nearby reservoir is a must.

My family has the Grahamsville Deli only a few minutes from Neversink General store. I frequently go there for pizza, gas or maybe something we might need for our own business. Mark and staff are always there to help us for anything we need. And most importantly, they are pro community... ALWAYS HAVE BEEN. All the way! We are lucky to have them. Thanks for being there.

Stopped in to grab a quick bite to eat. Unexpectedly lovely little store! Nice collection of items you might not expect, like funny greeting cards, large jugs of maple syrup, t- shirts, local baked goods and fancy nuts from a local business! Yummy breakfast sandwiches too and pretty quick service considering the steady volume of people! Hidden gem for sure and will pop in again when in the area!

Food is great, service is wonderful. They have the world's best breakfast pizza, and regularly have incredible lunch choices (prime rib with mashed potatoes is one of my all-time favorites) at reasonable prices. I'm in there for morning coffee several times a week, pizza on the weekends, it's a worthwhile stop. My only complaint is the parking lot. It's unpaved so all the issues of bumps, dust, ice, mud, etc that go with a crusher-run surface. Boo hoo, right?

This is a biased review, but in a good way. I am an experienced chef, that being said; I am currently working in the kitchen here so of course I think it is wonderful. The food was already great. But now, it's getting a little extra attention and I would like to think that I can continue to keep the food top notch. The owners are very friendly, the staff are courteous and attentive. They also cater, so if you need an event handled give Jaime a call and he will help you set it up.

Always a warm and friendly environment. Staff is always willing to help. Coffee is fresh! The store is always clean and well maintained. I've had many items from the deli as well as lunch and dinner specials. I've not had a bad meal yet! There is a nice variety of options to purchase for a small store. It's also nice to see the owners involved in community activities.

Was in Claryville for an extended work conference. We ordered catering from Neversink General Store for 3 days straight, 3 meals a day. We are from Manhattan so some of us are rather particular about food but there were ZERO complaints! My staff had nothing but great things to say about the food and service. 15/10 will recommend and go again. Thank you!

I am a wedding planner, so naturally, I deal with a lot of caterers. I first tasted, Jaime at Neversink General Stores, food in 2018.. although there were logistical issues with them then, the food was so good, I wanted it for my wedding. A whole year later, I got engaged and started to plan. I thought a year later that the logistical issues would be figured out by then so I gave them a shot. Although again, the food was amazing, Jaime and Neversink General Store did figure out their logistics. They tried getting me to pay for them to come back and pick up their rentals, on THE DAY OF MY WEDDING, never saying anything before that, forgot food, rude delivery people, dirty tablecloths, and more. When I spoke to Jaime he assured he wanted me to be happy, as the bride, and let me know he would send a check for some money back per person. That was 3 months ago. I have emailed him countless times, he has stopped responding. If he would've sent the money (which wasn't about the money, it was the principle of the matter) i would've tried using him again on a private party, but now I won't and I will not recommend him to any of my couples in the future. It is completely unprofessional to tell someone, who paid you 4 GRAND to, that you are going to do something, and then not even have the decency to email them back .This place could be great, because again, their food is so good, but save yourself the aggravation and go somewhere where the food is good AND they honor what they say they're going to do.UPDATE: After writing this review, I did receive an email back and a check in the mail - not sure if it's coincidence, or they saw the review, but I did receive what I was told I would.

Stopped in for gas. The pumps appear to take credit cards but do not. Went in to pay cash and found two others waiting while the clerk was busy with taking a phone order. Very long waitfinally filled up only to have the handle leak all over me and my vehicle. The regular customer waiting with me said he only uses the place when he has too.Mark - I had tried multiple pumps and so had my friends. None took our cards. Gas leaking from the handle is beyond a maintenance or parts issue.Blaming the employees for our group wait misses the point. Employees in the kitchen area that were busy talking could have been trained to help. Alternatively they might have been assigned taking phone orders.Please do not misunderstand my intentions. I want your customers to be happy and more of them to find and support your business. It is your business and that is where the solutions have to come from.

After reading the article in the paper about their successful trip to the Jacob Javis Center, giving high accolades to Jamie, their star chef, I thought maybe I should drive out there, and see what is going on.I was lucky enough to meet both the owner and Jamie. Both very sincere, endearing, and very congenial people.I had a garlic burrito breakfast wrap, with freshly scrambled eggs , cheddar cheese, crisp bacon, complete with a tasty salsa. I truly enjoyed it.I found all of the staff there I encountered absolutely nice and friendly. I would so recommend one to stop in and benefit from their magic in the kitchen, and from their kind spirit.I feel this place has truly something special going on, and I wish them only the best and much success.

Very friendly storekeepers and a lovely little store! I stopped by after my hike to get a sandwich(blazing buffalo+bacon wrapped) and it was absolutely delicious! The prices were also fair for a tourist area. Definitely would recommend tourists to stop. Y the deli!

Long overdue congratulations to Chef Jaime Stankevicius on his success in the Neversink General Store. The standard menu fare is delicious, but the take-out meals are amazing! Our mushroom lasagna with white truffles was out of this world, and a real surprise to find in this down-to-earth neighborhood gem of an establishment.

I first found out about this place when covid hint they did an amazing job donating to our local hospital. Myself and all the staff truly appreciate everything they did ! But after this I became a regular in the store at least once a week sometimes more. But for about 4 months now I gave stopped going because the staff has been very nasty when we call to order anything or something they post they have when you call to order they say they don't make it. I know covid has messed up alot for businesses and in time I will be giving them a second chance! When I do so I will the update my review!

Went today to pick up sandwiches for hiking. Waited nearly 30min to order and another +15 for the sandwiches to be made. There was only one customer ahead of us to order. We ordered 4 regular style sandwiches with a meat, cheddar cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, onions, a little bit of mayo, and black pepper on white toast. Hiked up a mountain a couple of hours and sat down to eat. It turns out each sandwich only had meat and onions and was drenched in mayo. Practically inedible. We ate some of the meat and had to throw away the rest. Super disappointed!

Outstanding deli. I come up from the city to backpack in the area and always make sure to get a steak bomb sandwich as a treat afterwards. This spot is popular and the staff do a great job completing orders in a fair and timely manner.

This place has potential. It is the only place left. Appears to be well organized and well stocked.There appear to be more than enough staff and workers for the task.We attempted to order and were told we had to wait while the server finished an order.We waited and waited and watched 4 unoccupiedEmployees walk past our server - no one offered to e help. No one even made eye contact.We left.We were in on Wednesday at lunch time.But please do not blame the employee who wascovering the orders that day. That would be missing the point

Great place for food, we ordered subs and salads to take with to the 50th Woodstock anniversary last weekend and it was all awesome!!! We even found homemade cookies by Nene that were scrumptious, we even bought some on Tuesday for the ride home! I was born and raised in the area and now live about 3 1/2 hours north west and I wish it was there while I was still growing up, awesome job to all working there too, we at home and your hospitality was great too! We will be in next time we are down!!!

Such a great shop filled with wonderful people.The store has some really unique products I'm not sure you can find anywhere else in the state. I was having some car troubles and the staff were gracious to help me get back on the road again, they were kind, polite, and they exemplified the greatness of upstate NY. Coming from NYC it's truly a pleasure to receive such a warm welcome and a helping hand from a stranger.I cannot wait to return to the Neversink general store. It was a highlight of my week.

Would give it zero stars if I could. The last few times we have been there our orders have been wrong . Would have gone back to have it fixed but due to the long wait for the sandwiches and the time left to eat our lunch we would have been late to work. Menu and items are way over priced.
