Overall it’s okay. Convenient location between Albany Hudson Electric Trail and Donald P Sutherland Elementary School in Nassau, NY. Generous portion sizes at reasonable prices. My flurry with Oreos and marshmallow was good. My wife did not like her vegan soft serve due to taste, it had a lack of flavor, and neither did the peanut butter hard shell. There’s only three picnic tables which were full when we arrived. An old man in a fold up chair will yell at you if you sit on any of the walls. There’s two bike racks right by the bike path. Car parking is off of an alley way on the east side of the building. The interior is closed to the public, so you may only order from the outdoor window. There is no cover in the event of rain. The same old man will share many tales of WWII regardless of interest, so be prepared. I did not see a public restroom.

Very pleasant little neighborhood ice cream stand. Order at the window, take out only with outdoor seating. reasonably priced, soft serve and hard pack ice cream and a menu of snacks and quick grab hot food items. Parking and it's along the hiking trails

I feel this is such a great place to get ice cream. Me personally, I absolutely love small "mom n pop" businesses. And I am sure this one will grow. I often get their ice cream in a dish for my parents when I visit them, as well as 1 for myself. Lol. I love it. People working the window have always been very polite and courteous. They have an awesome location away from the busy traffic on the main road. The bike path is also right there. So whether you come by car, bike or foot, stop in and enjoy.

Interesting crowd and the icecream is luscious! I got the strawberry rhubarb sundae and it was gigantic and delicious. The icecream is rich like frozen custard its delicious

Peanut butter cream Sundae. 3 of us couldn't finish it. It was very, very good. If I could make a suggestion....a bit more ice cream and a little less toppings. 😉

As someone recently diagnosed with a dairy allergy, I was surprised to find I can still enjoy a soft serve treat with my family - it was delicious! My dog also loves his special sundae with biscuits. Large & creative variety of toppings, like Fruity Pebbles. Never would have thought of that, but yum! Generous portions and cheaper than the places in Albany/Troy. Located right on a very nice bike path, so you can walk off the calories while you eat. Will be going back!!

The ice cream here is really good and is located right next to a school, talk about good product placement!! Ice cream was served fast and I'm surprised by how late they're open. I was able to get my dessert pretty late in the evening. Would recommend to anyone who needs to cool down on a hot summer day or wants a sweet treat!

Whenever I visit my parents for dinner at their house, we make the trip to Smiles.Great soft serve! My favorite is when they have the Strawberry Rhubarb Sundae special, omfg, it is heavenly with the soft serve vanilla.They also have frozen yogurt, usually one or two flavors that change weekly.So many toppings to choose, too! I love getting vanilla soft serve with pretzels, peanuts, and butterscotch, thats my usual-- but there are so many other toppings to pick from! 12/10 would recommend checking out Smiles!

This ice cream shop is right on the Empire State trail that I cycle on. It is so great to be able to take a quick break during a long bike ride. The added feature is that is great tasting ice cream. My favorite is getting a twist

Ice cream is exceptional, but best of all is the dip, which is super thick and tasty - by far best dip I have ever had. I’ll be stopping every time I’m biking on the Electric Trail.

You gotta try their only 8 ice cream. It's low carb, and so yummy! Haven't found it anywhere else. They also have the regular flavors too, though.

Ice cream was just right in middle of long bike trip but even better was their effort to get me back my money clip that I dropped while remounting my bike. I didn't realize until 12 miles and an hour later. Just as I started the slow trek back to check the trail, I got a FB message from the girl at the counter saying they had it. She found me on social media and really lifted my day. Thank you Kayla and the person who found it and turned it in!!

We all adore Smile's! It's right in the village so we can walk to it, and they have a really great selection and pricing. Staff is always super sweet and accommodating.Highly recommend the flurries!

GPS will say you're there when you're not. You'll want to turn into John St and it's just right down that road all lit up. It's not bad, had a malt. Wanted frozen yogurt but they were out.
