Today going to Pete's Market was ridiculous. Things were extremely expensive, and I usually shop there for quick buys. Today for example I was looking for red cabbage to put in my cole slaw:::: ridiculous price 6.78 for a small red cabbage.vi could buy chicken pieces for that price. A small container of ricotta $10.79. come on now. I think they are getting ready for the summer clans that come up to narrowsburg,ny. People that live here can't afford these prices. I won't go there again for a long time. Good luck all.

Great little grocery store. Clean organized with great staff. Has everything you may need or forgot if you are camping in the area. In addition to Deli items are great and our sandwiches were delicious.

Prices are getting very high, locals will have to shop elsewhere. It is just not affordable . Owner is not very friendly although most of the staff are great.

Solid small supermarket. Nice collection of local dairy and Pennsylvania Dutch snacks. Good bakery. Small produce selection. Clean, well merchandised store with friendly staff.

Prices are atrocious and they sell stuff thats marked not for resale , the owner goes to dollar general and pa walmart buys boxes of stuff then sells the contents individually on his shelves, I've seen him do it. They even overcharge the Arizona teas which are supposed to be 99cents and not a penny more!Workers are unhappy and under paid and it shows. Cashiers are miserable and rude , the deli gets the slightest bit busy and they completely ignore you, you ask where something is and no one takes the time to come show you they just point and say idk somewhere in that isle.

We ordered 3 submarine sandwiches from the deli 5/23/2023 got them home there was nothing on them but a couple slices of ham and a slice of cheese THATS IT! What a joke! So the store manager (AC) whoever that is wants us to drive another hour to bring them back so we lose 2 hours driving time they lose nothing! And another 2 hours of being hungry. 20 years of doing business in this store NEVER EVER again. I mean you pay $30 and you get 3 pieces of bread and a couple thin slices of ham....WHAT A JOKE!! Will do business with the bank but thats it they will never see another dollar from myself or my family!

They rip up your receipt right in front of you! What's up with that? What if I need to check something or return something? The manager better change the policy on that...I went there twice while on vacation and twice they did that!

I was staying with friends in Narrowsburg, NY, for a few days, and I had the pleasure of going to Pete's Market. Clean and bright, Pete's is a nice-looking place. There is an extensive selection of whatever you need. They have a deli and a bakery where I saw fresh bialys! Their prices are very fair, and the cashier was great. Pete's is located in a lovely shopping center, right off Rt. 97, with a pizza place, a Chinese restaurant, a liquor store, a laundromat, and a few more businesses.

Great shopping experience. Their deli makes delicious sandwiches and the market itself has great variety of staples as well as many gourmet items. Meats looked fresh and the entire store was very clean and well organized. Prices were reasonable.

The prices here are surprisingly high, especially for the quality of the goods. It's small but you can find most basic grocery items here. The fruit and vegetable options are a little bit weak and the "fresh" bread we got there was pretty bad. If you're coming from out of town, I recommend you bring as much food with you as possible.

In this store you’ll never get a “hello, hi, good afternoon” or even a “thank you” all you get is “you wanna buy a bag.” Such a nice town except for this store! Want a shame.

Pete's is a place you should avoid at all costs. The sandwiches are horrible too expensive the vegetables are rotted. Most of the goods are outdated always check very sad

I’m conflicted. I don’t want to hurt a small business people rely on but I also don’t want to lie so here it goes. The prices are fair for a small town grocery store, the staff are courteous and helpful. You won’t find anything out of date on the shelves. They usually always have something new in the bakery section to keep things interesting, and all the checkout lines were surprisingly OPEN...I know...it’s a miracle which is super awesome. HOWEVER when I order expensive boars head roast beef from the deli...I expect to get boars head roast beef. I paid for boars head, the tag says boars head, but it is NOT boars head roast beef. I have been eating the same roast beef for 20 years and what I got instead was the cheap grey colored discount product. That’s borderline theft by deception. I really hope it was an accident and not intentional. I will shop at Pete’s again

Was blatantly profiled for the way my friends and I were dressed (hippie type of clothing). We were deciding what type of water to get, a 24 pack or a 2 gallon and a cashier/manager came over and asked if we needed help, kept giving us strange looks the entire time. The female cashier by the cigarettes was also extremely rude and had a bad attidude for no reason at all. Just be kind.... it is so disrespectful to assume anything about a person based on the way they are dressed. I love Narrowsburg but felt very uncomfortable in this grocery store.

Great little grocery store if you need a few basics or some last minute supplies for your BBQ. Prices are a bit more than other grocery store's but you are paying for convenience. Expect a decent produce selection but don't bank on getting high quality cuts of meat.

Great small town market. A bit pricey and the stock could use rotating. Lot of expired products on the shelf. I suppose this place could be useful in the end of days when expiration dates of food don’t matter. So in the event of a zombie apocalypse this is your store!!!

It's a mostly full service food market in the woods. It has a meat, dairy, bakery, deli and produce department with great store hours. The prices are not expensive. They are not huge so sometimes they may run out of stock of certain items but it's not a normal occurrence.

This store manages to carry a lot of products in a small space; I think you can find just about anything you need here including camping supplies. We always stop here for lunch from the deli. They make great sandwiches and if you catch them on the right day, some great hot foods (My favorite is their chicken picata!). They always have a very decent selection of Italian cookies, doughnuts, pastries etc., Great store!

Having recently moved to the area, I was somewhat surprised to find a grocery store with this large a selection in a small town like Narrowsburgh. Pete's is a mini-supermarket with the charm of a Mom-and-Pop country store. Their prices are very good considering their rural location and the fact that many other local businesses are going 'upscale'. They have an astonishing variety of products from National brands to local/generic ones, organic foods, artisanal cheeses, healthy foods like Kefir, Quinoa, and Kombucha, and local produce. Their bakery gets rolls from DiFilippi's, and their deli is well-stocked with Boar's Head meats and cheeses (the also make a variety of hold and cold sandwiches, including some excellent varieties suggest by and named for employees(?).) This will be my go-to store for general grocery shopping whilst I live here, hands down.
